Sam pulls back from Jerry's advances on her sofa. She tells him this is just a game for him and he's just trying to see how far she'll go. He doesn't deny it, so Sam moves in for a kiss. Jerry pulls away and says that he's not lost his mind completely and Alexis could walk in any minute. He suggests that they move to his hotel room, or else he'll have to assume that this is a setup. Sam says that they'll be seen at The Metro Court, and asserts that she is the one being played because Jerry is emotionally attached to her mother. She tells him that she's available, but only after he's ended it with Alexis. Jerry leaves to consider his options.
Noah Will Never Be Father of the Year.
Sam has called Jerry over to confront him. She tells him that Alexis was hurt and she doesn't appreciate that. Jerry tells her to cut him out of her life then and go back to mummy. Sam tells him that she will not sleep with him as long as he's with Alexis. He asks if she promises to make it worth his while?
Cupid is on Hiatus.
Alexis and Jerry are relaxing over martinis at The Metro Court. She says that she's surprisingly free for the night, but Jerry says that there's something he needs to tell her. He says that Sam has invited him to her apartment several times and he's afraid she is coming on to him.
Lulu Starts to Wonder.
Alexis returns to her office and finds Jerry sitting at her desk. He schmoozes a few kisses out of her, reminds her of their passion from last night, and when she tells him that she's busy, he asks if she's making progress in the clinic fire case. Just then, Lucky comes in and says that they found charred remains of a firebomb at the clinic.
And the Verdict Is...
Over at Sam's penthouse, Jerry suspects that she is playing him so he grabs her by the neck to see if she'll admit it. Instead, she coolly tells him that she's tired of being someone who she's not and wants to return to her 'bad girl' roots. Jerry lets her go and she pours more wine. She tells him that she has run her share of scams and her newfound straight life isn't all it's cracked up to be. Jerry says that he came to '…this cowpoke of a city' to have a relationship with his brother, but now he's found Alexis, too. None of it, however, compares to standing on the edge of a cliff he teases. Before his thought is complete, he has moved in for a kiss. Sam allows the kiss, but pulls back after a steamy minute and tells him to slow down. She says that she nearly severed her relationship with her mother once by sleeping with her man, so they can't be together until he has broken it off first. Jerry says that he's not a patient man and is very frustrated at the moment so perhaps Alexis can release his pent-up tension. He grabs his coat and leaves.
Madam Foreperson.
Carly comes to the hospital after receiving a message that Jax got hurt in a climbing accident. Leyla tells her that Jax damaged the tendon in his hand, but it’s not too serious. Jerry walks off the elevator and tells Carly he’s there to pick up Jax. They talk about Jax's accident and how reckless he was being on his climb. Jerry says it’s not like him, but since Carly and Jax broke up, he hardly recognizes his brother. The two sit and talk about Jax and his past relationships. Jerry tells her that Jax was different with Carly than with his other marriages. Jerry seems to be understanding about Carly’s night with Sonny, saying she doesn’t trust happiness so she destroys what she loves most. Carly thinks maybe if she is the one Jax has been waiting for it’s not over. Jax comes out smiling and laughing with Leyla and sees Carly. His demeanor changes as Carly approaches him to talk. Jax brushes her off saying Jerry will drive him home. Carly wants to talk to him, but Jax says he’s only concerned about Morgan, asking if she told him they were breaking up yet. She says she took him to the shore for a few days so she could think. Jax says that's her choice and leaves.
Lucky hides and Jerry enters with flowers and wine for Sam. Jerry and Sam drink and engage in flirtatious banter and then talk turns to Alexis. Jerry says, “We both know why you invited me here," calling her the anti-Alexis. She says she craves danger and brings up working for Karpov and how she has international connections, legal and otherwise. Jerry asks if it’s a proposition and then violently grabs her throat. He says, “It occurs to me, Sweet Sam, that you are being too friendly.”
Liz Makes a(nother) Move!
Matt Hunter is alone at the clinic when Jerry comes up from behind him and knocks him out with one blow to the back of his neck. Matt crumbles to the ground, but is able to take a peek at who is rushing out the door. Outside, Jerry reaches into his pocket and activates a detonator. Before long, Nadine returns to the clinic, finds Matt in the burning building and tries to pull him out, but part of the roof collapses and blocks the doorway.
ELizabeth, Carly's Mini Me?
Over at Sam's place, she and Lucky are arguing over her undercover work. She wants to flirt with Jerry in order to expose him to her mother, but Lucky thinks it's too dangerous. She says that she's not exactly been a good daughter and this is her chance to do something for Alexis. Jerry knocks on the door and after Lucky hides, she lets him in. He wants to take her for a boat ride and Sam flirtatiously tells him it'll have to be another time. He says that Alexis will go with him, and Sam reminds him that it's her or Alexis. He says he won't wait for long, and leaves. Lucky comes out and suggests that he could talk to Jax about Jerry instead of her putting herself in dangerous situations. Sam doesn't think that'll work and suggests that she invite Jerry over for dinner tonight instead. He reluctantly agrees.
Scott Calls Lulu to the Stand.
Jerry shows up at the clinic and asks Nadine to speak with Nikolas. She tells him that she'll deliver a message, and Jerry reports that he has word of a shipment of fake drugs and would like to let him know about it. Nadine suggests he go to the police, but Jerry says he's trying to win the favor of Mr. Cassadine in order to get closer to his aunt. On his way out, he fingers the bomb that he has ready to plant and whispers "Boom."
