Claudia arrives at the casino, alone, and Johnny asks why she is hanging around the clinic. She says with so many people wanting her dead, she thought it was a good idea. She sees Tracy; Tracy tells Claudia that Luke is still in charge! "Good luck with that," Claudia says and walks out. Jerry follows her. Layla returns to Spinelli and sees that Lulu has arrived. Jax and Kate worry that Spinelli's luck may be changing and try to stop the game but Giselle wants to keep playing. Tracy sidles up to Lulu and says she is disappointed to see her with Johnny. Lulu doesn't care; she and Johnny go to the bar. Maxie arrives and completely blows Spinelli's cover because he can't keep up the "Damian" persona with her beside him.
Outside, Jerry tells Claudia that he has detailed her part in Michael's shooting and it will go public if anything ever happens to him. "So now you do what I want, when I want," he says. He grabs Claudia just as Jason walks up!
No Room at the Inn.
Later Jerry finds Jax in the lobby and informs him that he's going out of town for a little bit. In fact, he asks Jax to come along so they can drop in on Lady Jane, but Jax says it's a bad time for him to leave. He tells Jerry about his problems with Carly and Jerry tells him not to give up. He reminds Jax of his several miserable attempts at marriage and points out that marriage isn't like a corporate raid and something that's only exciting in the beginning. Jax listens to his big brother's advice but doesn't like what he hears.
Sonny Makes an Emotional Plea.
Carly goes to the Metro Court and runs into Jerry. She asks if he's heard from Jax and he gently says that Jax's timing (for leaving town) is odd since they just lost Michael. He offers to track him down for her, but Carly says that Jax knows where she is. Jerry tells her that Jax loves her and will be back. The second he leaves, she walks over to Marty at the front desk and asks for all the money in the safe.
Departures.
Out at the Zacchara mansion, Johnny demands to know what Anthony has done to her and Anthony assures him that he did nothing, but if he finds out someone hurt his daughter he'll kill them. Jerry is announced and steps into the study with a friendly smile on his face. He says he'd like to discuss business and suggests that perhaps Claudia could join them? Anthony says that's not possible, so Jerry gets right down to it. He wants to lease the cannery piers but Johnny doesn't want to discuss it. He has Jerry taken out and then asks Anthony one more time where Claudia is. When Anthony claims to know nothing, Johnny goes to look into it himself.
Jerry brings some chocolate-filled truffles to Alexis in her office and she takes them right out of his hands. Then she tells him to call Claudia if he's lonely. He explained that he only kissed Claudia because he saw her coming and he was trying to make her jealous. Alexis isn't listening, nor is she sharing her truffles with him. They argue over a bite of chocolate and Jerry pulls her in for a kiss. She makes a somewhat valiant effort in pushing him away but finally gives in to it.
It's Like Valentine's Day, Only Different.
Out on the waterfront, Claudia is able to curse at Jerry in spite of her pain and Jerry tells her that her beloved brother will be better off without her. He looks as if he plans to finish the job by slashing her throat but he hears footsteps so he quickly pushes her off the docks into the water with his foot. Alexis approaches and asks him what he's up to. He asks why she always thinks the worst of him and she asks what the splash was. He admits to tossing a bad sandwich overboard and offers his wrists for her handcuffs. Alexis tells him that he's such a good liar that it's hard to tell. Jerry offers to walk her to her car because she shouldn't be out here in the dark.
A Heartbreaking Move.
Out at the Zacchara mansion Claudia tells Johnny that they should convince Jason that their dad is the one who had Michael shot. That way, Jason will take care of Anthony so they don't have to. Johnny whispers that he thinks they should distance themselves from the shooting because with Devlin dead, they are the only two people who know they were involved. Just then, Jerry arrives and Claudia's eyes fly wide open. Jerry quickly tells a story about how he kissed Claudia on the waterfront and perhaps he was wrong in assuming the feeling was mutual. The cover continues as Ric wheels Anthony in. Jerry switches to business mode and says that he's come to talk about the Alcazar piers. He says that he's planning an import business and would like to arrange to use them. Anthony tells him to go to Sonny instead, but Jerry expresses his desire to work with the Zaccharas. Ric walks Jerry out and tells him to stay away from Alexis and his daughter now that he's going back into dirty business. Jerry tells Ric that he's in the same boat now.
Jerry calls Claudia down to the waterfront to meet him and is promptly chewed out for showing up at her house. Claudia then informs him that he is going to help her frame Anthony for Michael's shooting. Jerry asks what's in it for him and Claudia says that once she and John are at the helm, she can decide what happens with the piers. She says that she's prepared to get things done and Jerry says, "Then I'll guess you'll understand this." He pulls out a knife and stabs her in the abdomen.
The Crumbling of Carly's Denial.
Claudia and Jerry are on the waterfront trying to come to an agreement about how to proceed with keeping Sonny in the dark about their involvement with Ian. They both threaten to expose the other. Jerry warns about Johnny's safety and Claudia returns the favor by bringing Jax into the mix. As Jerry puts the squeeze on Claudia for emphasis, he suddenly decides to kiss her. They no sooner lock lips when Alexis comes upon them. Jerry tries to act casual and Alexis tries to control her anger. Claudia smiles and tells her that she and Jerry are business partners and then leaves. Jerry tries to explain, but Alexis tells him to get a different attorney. He tells her that he simply gave in to Claudia's hotness for a moment and it's a result of the back 'n forth tango between them. Alexis tells him that she doesn't care what he does, and he tells her that jealousy looks good on her.
