Jason and Sam hightail it to the railings of the freighter and jump overboard. Inside the cabin, Jerry scrambles to reach for the detonator but when he realizes that he'll never be able to reverse what he put in motion he sits back and laughs. Then, there's an explosion. Once Jason and Sam make it to the pier, they hear sirens start to roar in the background. Sam can't believe that Jerry Jacks is finally dead and thanks Jason for saving her. He credits Spinelli for planting the tracking device and then asks her to keep his part in this quiet.
Laura Comes Home.
Jerry is drinking coffee on the freighter and Sam asks for a cup. He doesn't fancy the idea of getting scalding coffee thrown on him, but pours her a cup to cool whilst he fetches one more drug shipment. "Then it's time for a fake death and a real one," he giddily says on his way out the door. After he's gone, Sam struggles to free herself from her cuffs, but to no avail.
On the waterfront, Spinelli is lagging behind Jason with a little case of seasickness after a choppy ride across the harbor. Jason goes ahead without Spinelli. Soon, Jerry comes by and Spinelli asks what he's done with Samantha! Jerry brags that she is a willing partner on his boat and then is forced to defend himself from some odd looking martial arts moves. One punch puts Spinelli flat on his back, and Jerry is on his merry way. When Jason finds him later, Spinelli says that he lost the fight but was able to plant a tracking devise on Jerry. Jason tells him that he 'did good' and they take off.
Jerry returns to the ship and Sam begs for her life. Jerry reminds her that he's relying on her lovely dead body to convince everyone that they've both died. He trips the detonator and bids her farewell as he quickly leaves the ship.
Jason rushes onto the freighter and finds Sam. She tells him to hurry because Jerry's probably still on the boat! As Jason fumbles with a key, Jerry enters and holds them both at gunpoint. Jason puts his gun down on the bed near Sam and puts his hands in the air. Sam quickly draws the gun and shoots it as Jason lunges on Jerry. The two men struggle as Sam frees herself. Jason and Sam slip out the door and leave Jerry behind as he nervously tries to get up before the bomb goes off.
It's Mrs. Spencer vs. Mrs. Spencer.
The cat and mouse game between Jerry and Sam continue out on the freighter. He laments about how much he did truly enjoy her mother, but he's too much like her daughter to live a straight and narrow life. When he's looking out of a porthole, Sam is able to stretch her body far enough to send a distress signal from a ship-to-shore microphone. Soon, the coast guard is outside and Jerry slaps Sam in the face.
He stashes her away and then invites the cost guard guy onboard. He explains away the distress call by saying that he and his girlfriend were messing around and accidentally sent the call. He apologizes for any inconvenience and the guard lets it go for this time.
Carly is stunned to open her door and find Jax offering her divorce papers. She points out that just last night he was ready to give them another chance! Jax says that was before he realized that she was hiding Sonny from him. Carly says that she can explain everything, but Jax says that he's done with her and she shouldn't bother trying to explain because she's addicted to Sonny.
Another Kiss Goodbye.
Sam is out on a freighter pleading with Jerry for her life, and his, as it turns out because he says that he's going to die with her. She promises that they can find a safe and beautiful place where no one will ever find them. Just to mess with her head, he roughly handles an explosive and tells her to smile on their way out. He pretends to trip the detonator and Sam screams. After she calms down, he tells her that he has too many women yet to fondle and he's not going to die just yet. He will let Jax and Alexis think he's dead, however. He says that she is the glue that holds his scheme together. She asks for an explanation and he says that the ship will blow up and people will think the drugs are gone, but he's going to have them. Her sexy, dead body will convince everyone that they both went down with the ship.
Luke and Laura Talk it Out.
Sam wakes up chained to a bed on a freighter and Jerry tells her that this is the beginning of the last day of her life. He tells her that she may be beautiful, daring and sexy, but she's not particularly bright. She says that she's not book smart, but she knows how to read him. She speculates that he won't kill her because he'd never want Jax or Alexis to know what he's capable of. He says that he would like to avoid hurting them, but Port Charles is closing in on him. She asks if she can be his ally, instead. He simply turns and leaves the room. When he returns, he giddily announces that he has a present for her. He sits next to her and opens a box of explosives. "You are not going out without a bang, I promise you," Jerry teases.
