Outside her room, the press is firing questions to Emily and Epiphany about what Miss Howard had for breakfast this morning. Liz blocks their access to seeing Kate with a big gurney, and Mac, Diane, Coop and Kate slip off to the elevator. Later Georgie shows up for her volunteer job and asks Liz and Emily if they've heard from Lulu. She apologizes for Maxi's actions and Emily says that she's not responsible. They talk about the confrontation scene at Kelly's and Georgie says that Nikolas looked like he was going to kill Logan earlier. Emily looks concerned.
Robin is at the nurses' desk getting an update on a patient from Epiphany. Noah arrives and, of course, they disagree on what's best for the patient. He says that Mr. Persky needs surgery and Robin wants do use a medical protocol. Robin gives up and tells him to set up the surgery, then she walks off. After the surgery is over, it turns out that not only was it a success, Patrick found another tumor while in there - which wouldn't have happened with Robin's treatment. Robin tells him congratulations. He asks if they can get some Mr. Chang's for dinner and Robin tells him that she has someplace to be.
Tracy goes to the hospital and demands to Epiphany that she see someone for a DNA test. Epiphany is quick to inform her that she is a "non emergency" patient. Logan and Lulu are waiting in the lounge. Lulu tells him that he came to Port Charles because he wanted to find his father and he should just admit it. Logan says that he does not want Baldwin to be his dad and Lulu says that Luke would certainly be happy if he weren't. When their names are called, Scott and Logan slunk off together.
In the hospital elevator, Epiphany finds Leyla and tells her that she's making mistakes on her patient's charts. Leyla confesses that it's Jolene, another student nurse who is making mistakes but she covered for her. Turns out it's the anniversary of her dad's death. She gets off the elevator and goes to the nurses' desk where Robin asks for her charts and Dr. Drake's - since he won't be coming in today. No long after Patrick shows up and Leyla says that she thought he was staying home. "It's not much fun alone," he says.
At the hospital, Leyla has a question about a med and asks Patrick about it. He gives her a quick answer, but tells her if she ever needs help studying to let him know. She runs off to see a patient, Epiphany warns him to leave her student nurse's alone. Patrick says that his flirting days are over and Epiphany tells him that if Leyla leaves her nursing program because Dr. Scorpio is hard on her, she'll be furious - at him!
Jax goes into the hospital and sheepishly asks Epiphany who he can see for an unscheduled visit. She starts to question him over what he needs to be seen for, but Jerry appears from nowhere and says that his brother needs to be tested for STD's. The two men walk away from the nurses' desk and Jerry asks his little brother if he's still mad at him. Jax doesn't want to be reminded that they are family. Jerry tells him that he'd do it all again if it kept him safe. Jax says that the brother he loved is long gone and all that's left is James Craig. "I don't know you anymore, I don't care to," he says and walks away.
Everything appears to be fixed with the sound system, so Anna leaves the stage and Noah starts to lip sync as Eli does the real singing back stage. You can see Noah's confidence growing as it appears that he's actually getting away with the scheme. "Who Killed Rock 'n Roll?" Noah seemingly belts out the lyrics and the band is hot. Backstage Patrick, Anna and Robin and getting into it, with Eli sitting in a wheelchair with a microphone in front of him. Epiphany is there, too, as Eli's nurse. Eli's face is elated as he watches Noah on stage playing air guitar with his band. Noah doesn't miss a beat as he strums the final chord of the song. The crowd goes nuts and Noah looks much more alive than he ever has in the operating room!
Anna reminds Patrick and Robin that the concert is less than an hour away so there is no time to get someone else. She assures Noah that he can impersonate Eli from the stage. Noah is nervous but decides to try. Anne decides they need a Plan B. Anna and Robin find Eli, with Epiphany, at the hospital. She gushes about a concert in Dubai and then gets down to business. She tells him about Noah's accident. Eli volunteers to take the stage himself. Epiphany puts the kibosh on that plan very quickly! Robin decides to issue a temporary release, promising that Epiphany won't get in trouble, but that doesn't calm the nurse down. Eli shows how great he is feeling by standing up but he falls back into his wheelchair, weakened.
At the concert, the stage manager is getting nervous because the crowd is nuts and Eli is nowhere to be found. Patrick takes the stage to promote LifeBeat, and calm the crowd, as he talks Noah takes the stage! Noah waves at the crowd and then runs off! The stage manager goes out to calm things down as Epiphany, Anna and Robin arrive with Eli. They decide to send Noah on stage to play guitar while Eli sings and talks from backstage! Noah goes on stage but as the concert starts they lose all of the vocal tracks!
At the hospital, Epiphany warns the student nurse to stay away from young Dr. Drake because he's taken. Over at the lounge, Robin tells Patrick that if he has to prove something now that he knows he's not going to be a father, "…knock yourself out." Later Patrick finds her and asks if they are speaking. They agree that they don't want to fight and that they are working too hard lately. Patrick suggests that they go to Noah's concert and then go "listen to the night" from a rowboat in the middle of the lake. With a bottle of wine, of course.
