Meet the Bauers.

Spinelli comes to Maxie's room, but sees that Johnny is already there and hears Maxie thank him for coming to her rescue. He wheels away and runs into Robin and Epiphany and tells them Maxie is busy with Johnny. Robin assures him Maxie is crazy about him, but Spinelli doesn't think he can win this battle. Robin reiterates that Maxie loves him and doesn't blame him. Spinelli returns to Maxie's room and thanks Johnny for his heroic efforts. Johnny knows he would do the same for him and he leaves. Noting Spinelli's insecurity, Maxie tells him he is the only one who thinks he's not good enough for her. As they talk, Mac comes in yelling at Spinelli for being there and Maxie starts coughing as she defends her non-husband. Mac doesn’t want to upset her and says he'll come back when Spinelli is gone. Robin comes in to check on Maxie, who asks her to talk to Mac to ask him to back off. Maxie is eager to get out of there, but Robin tells Maxie she's staying put in the hospital until they figure this thing out.

In the conference room at GH, Epiphany tells Nikolas and Elizabeth the baby is healthy and that Nikolas is the father, as Lucky walks up and overhears.

Who Did This?

Kate and Lulu bring a coughing Maxie to the hospital. Epiphany and Robin tend to her and then call Monica. As Monica checks Maxie out, Kate berates herself for not knowing Maxie was sick and tells Lulu to take the rest of the rest of the night off. Kate and Lulu leave and Spinelli comes to Maxie's room concerned for her.

Ethan brings Kristina to the hospital as Robin worries to Patrick about Maxie. Robin gets paged and leaves as Epiphany calls Patrick to check on Kristina. He goes in the room and is shocked by the sight of her and has Steve paged. Patrick questions Ethan outside the room who tells him he found her like that.

Message Received.

In the lobby, Spinelli beats himself up to Johnny about his plan gone awry. Johnny tries to make him feel better by assuring him Maxie is madly in love with him. He just needs to get out of his own way and trust that.

In her hospital room, Maxie worries about work, but Robin tells her she needs to stay there for at least 24 hours. Mac comes in and Robin admits she called him. Maxie assures him she's fine and she's not in danger of getting pneumonia. Robin leaves to check on some tests and Spinelli and Johnny come in. Mac lashes out at Spinelli, who admits he's responsible for what happened. Maxie defends Spinelli, but Mac orders Spinelli and Johnny out. Johnny leaves, but Maxie asks Spin to stay. Mac states his concerns about Spinelli to Maxie again and then leaves. Spinelli confesses to Maxie he enhanced the facts of his case so they could solve it together. He also admits he didn’t text Johnny and she could have died because he wants to be her hero, but he's anything but.

Still stuck on the elevator at the hospital, Patrick accuses Lisa of doing it on purpose so she could get him alone. She retorts that he is a raging egomaniac and assures him she is happy he has a great home life. He makes it clear nothing will happen between them and she says, "Message received." She tells him to leave her out of any boredom he may feel with his white picket fence life. Lisa gets hot and takes off her long sleeved shirt she is wearing underneath her scrubs. Patrick is reminded of one of their spring break vacations and they reminisce. The elevator starts working again and they walk out to Robin, Epiphany and the maintenance man who says he put a sign out that the elevator was scheduled for maintenance.

Aloha.

At the hospital, Patrick flashes back to catching Lisa in her lingerie, as Epiphany tries to talk to him. He sees Robin who brings up the fact that he didn't come to bed last night and left early in the morning. She brings up Jake's again and they rehash that conversation, as Patrick watches Lisa walking back and forth. Robin thinks every marriage has their ups and downs and their does too. Robin walks away and Patrick catches up with Lisa to explain he doesn’t want her to think that something could happen between them after he caught her half naked in the locker room. She thinks he's overreacting, but he cites their history as being an issue. He just wants her to know where they stand and she tells him not to give it another thought. Patrick then brings Robin a rose and tells her he loves her and hates fighting with her. She thinks he feels guilty about something and he laughs. He goes to check on patients, as Johnny carries Maxie in and tells Robin Spinelli is in the car and can't walk.

Trust.

At the hospital, Epiphany tells Lisa all about the Beyonce concert and thanks her for the tickets. Patrick walks up and Lisa invites him to Jake's for karaoke. Robin hears them and asks what's going on. Lisa then invites both of them to Jake's after work. Robin says she needs to get home to Emma and Patrick says he should go home too. Robin tells him he can go to Jake's without her, but he doesn't want to. Robin thinks he does, but he insists he wants to be home with her and their daughter. He admits he enjoys Jake's, but Robin says it's gets old after awhile and Lisa's bar tricks can become annoying. Patrick tells her it's part of his wild single days he hangs on to, but they both gave up aspects of their past and wants her to accept that's what he's done. Robin wants him to man up and admit he wants beer and darts and to not act like she owes him something. She later softens and tells him she loves him and knows he won't leave her and Emma because he goes to Jake's. She wants him to go and have fun, but he doesn't know why she's looking for trouble when there is none. Lisa and Steve walk up to talk about a case. Lisa asks Patrick to look at the patient's post-op and goes to take a shower.

Dark and Reckless is So Last Year.

Nikolas comes to the hospital looking for Elizabeth, on his way to his board meeting, and Epiphany only tells him Robin took her back to Shadybrook. Nikolas asks Robin how Liz is doing and Robin apologizes for not encouraging him to be honest when he told her about him and Liz. He states she was being a good friend by not judging him. She lets him know she's on his side as well as Elizabeth's, but warns him Liz might not be able to accept the help he wants to give her. He doesn’t want to pressure Elizabeth, but he is hoping things work out between them. Nikolas then runs into Lisa and they talk about her doing what he wanted, as Steve walks up asking about Elizabeth. Steve walks away to talk with Epiphany about Elizabeth, who tells him she seemed fine and there were no complications. He leaves to see how she's doing and Lisa tells Nikolas she sent the DNA samples to an independent lab, just like he asked.

A Rude Awakening.

Lisa gives Epiphany Nikolas' DNA sample at the hub, which the lab tech then collects, as Helena observes from behind a corner. Elizabeth and Robin walk off the elevator and Elizabeth goes off to get tested.

Taking Down the Big Boy.

Robin and Lisa encounter an ornery Epiphany who is upset they don't file their own reports, so it falls to her, making her late to buy her Beyonce tickets. Lisa says she can hook her up. Epiphany threatens if she is playing around with her she will make her work life miserable. Steve warns Lisa better come through or else they'll all have to deal with an unhappy Ephiphany. Robin and Patrick bet on whether or not Lisa will get the tickets. Later, Lisa tells Epiphany to check her email and she learns she has two VIP tickets. Robin, Patrick and Steve wonder how she pulled that off and Lisa says she dated an A & R guy who still likes her. Epiphany is thrilled and Robin reluctantly gives Patrick twenty bucks. Steve asks if Lisa can get him some Tim McGraw tickets, but she says her connection can't get those, but he is her favorite. Steve looks online and finds two tickets for the Tim McGraw concert and asks Lisa to go. She accepts, as Robin and Patrick take notice.
