"Omigod" Robin says as she sees Leyla doing a (pool) table dance and collecting dollar bills for her trouble. Nadine explains to her co-workers that she tried to talk Layla out of it but she wouldn't listen. When Leyla sees that the other have arrived, she calls Robin over to join her because they share so much already. Robin asks her to come down but it's when Liz offers to buy her a new drink that she climbs down to join them. The girls tell her that she'll hate herself in the morning if she drinks the tequila that Jake pours for her, but she claims to be sick of living for tomorrow and slams it.
At Jake's, Leyla is pouring more tequila and when Kelly tries to get her to stop, Leyla tells her it's none of her business. Robin tells her that they shouldn't drag everyone in on this and that she and Patrick are over now anyway. Leyla says that Patrick was a bad decision in an otherwise well laid-out plan for her life, that's all. Nadine and Lainey convince Leyla that they can dance on the way to the car and out the door they go. They put her in a cab and come back inside for more girl talk. Before long, they start remembering Emily and about what a potty mouth she was on their very first girls' night out. Liz starts to cry and then they all decide to do a tequila shot in honor of Emily.
Lainey, Robin, Liz and Kelly are about to go into Jakes when they see sign announcing "Amateur Table Dancing Night". They laugh at what kind of desperate woman would do such a thing, and then go inside. Robin's jaw drops to the floor when she sees who is on the pool table giving a show to the guys clamoring around her. It's Leyla.
At the hospital Jax asks Elizabeth about Jerry. She blows him off, saying only that Jerry is being treated. As Bobbie begins Emily's memorial service for the hospital workers, Elizabeth walks in the chapel. Seconds later they are interrupted by an incoming trauma! Robin, Patrick and Nadine focus on saving the patient. The patient's family - dressed for her wedding - arrive. Elizabeth intercepts them and tells them what she knows about her prognosis. Patrick and Robin come out and tell them that Melina is on her way to surgery for head wounds. The family is stunned. The fiancé asks them if they can save her; Patrick tells him they'll do everything they can. The family goes in to see Melina before she is wheeled in to surgery. Robin returns to talk to them for a while. Patrick listens as she calms their fears and then leads them upstairs. Another nurse comes up, tells Patrick to grow up and stop pretending he doesn't want Robin any more.
When Nik, Lucky and Liz arrive at the church, Edward is already there lightening a candle. He tells Lucky that he was always a great friend to Emily and Liz was more like a sister. Then he addresses Nikolas. He thanks him for not listening when he tried to chase him out of Emily's life. "You made her very happy," Edward says. Liz, Nik and Lucky take their seats as other people start to arrive, first Monica followed by Dillon and Ned. Edward says that their family has lost so much…A.J., Justice, Lila, Alan and now Emily. He doesn't know how much more he can take. Jax arrives, then Maxi and Georgie. Dillon and Georgie catch up for a few minutes. He asks her why she isn't returning any of his phone calls and she admits that there is someone that she is interested in now. Dillon tells her that she is still his best friend and he wants her to be happy. Leslie is there, complimenting Monica on teaching Emily how to be a good mother to her grandson (Spencer). Monica reminds Leslie that the two of them spent years fighting over Rick and now here they are alone. Lainey and Kelly are smiling about how Emily could throw back tequila shots, and Logan greets Lulu when she arrives with Tracy. The first thing Tracy does is tell Monica that she regrets the way she treated Emily. She explains that she resented the way everyone compared her to Lila. "I am so sorry for your loss Monica and I hope you can forgive me," Tracy chokes out the words before she takes her seat. Monica is touched by her honesty. Jax finds Alexis and sees how worried she is about Nik. "It might help if he didn't have you to worry about." He explains that Jerry's nurse tells him that she has been checking in on his brother. Alexis says that she is just concerned about her client, that's all. Jax warns her not to get too close to his brother.
Lainey is talking to Cody in the interrogation room. She asks why he is willing to sacrifice possibly the rest of his life for pride. He corrects her and says that it's a sense of honor and duty. He says that he did for her father what he would want someone to do for him under the same circumstances. He says that he can live with it if a court sees fit to send him to jail. Lainey says that she can't! She feels guilty for not helping him when he came to her with post traumatic stress syndrome needing pills when he returned from Iraq. She tells Cody that he let her father die - which is what he wanted -- when she couldn't. Cody tells her to let it go. She asks if he has a lawyer and learns that Cody has a public defender. Lainey says that she will get the best attorney that money can buy for him instead.
Lainey has gone back to the hospital and runs into Robin. She's heard about Robin's decision to have a baby and congratulates her. Robin says that Patrick is judgmental and thinks that this is a reaction to their breakup, but that's not it at all. They talk for a while, and then Lainey explains Cody's situation and asks if Robin knows a good lawyer that she can hire on his behalf. Robin's eyebrows rise and she comes right out and asks Lainey if she has feelings for Cody. She explains that it's easy to get pulled into a bad boy who is vulnerable. Lainey assures her that isn't the case. Robin recommends Diane Miller based on her outcome in Jason's trial.
Lainey is visiting Cody in jail. He says that he's struggling without drugs, but jail is a strong form of rehab. Lainey says that he clearly has post traumatic stress (after serving in Iraq) and she should've been more supportive when he came to the ER looking for pills months ago. Cody says that it almost sounds like she's apologizing. Lainey reminds him that they can get him off of his charges of killing her father (by turning of his life support) by saying that Jolene did it. She's facing multiple murder charges anyway! Cody says that he'll face his own charges.
Cody has been taken into custody at PCPD. He is brought to the interrogation room because Dr. (Lainey) Winters has asked to see him. She tells him that she owes him for pulling the plug on her ailing father. She says that he was trapped inside of his body and Cody had the guts to give him what she couldn't. Cody says that it's too bad that society doesn't see it that way. Lainey has an idea of how to get him exonerated. Cody reminds her that he already confessed, but Lainey clarifies that he only confessed to keep her from being arrested. She tells him to change his plea. She explains that Jolene has been blamed for a rash of unexplained accidents at the hospital and they could chalk her father's death up to the same thing.
Liz is about to leave work so that she can go meet with Diane, Alexis and Lucky to work on the divorce. Emily apologizes for sticking her nose into her business, and Liz says that she knows she means well. Lainey finds them and says that a girls' night is in order! Liz agrees and says maybe it could be at her new house. After she leaves, Lainey tells Em about the druggie that Nikolas pummeled at the PCPD.
