Bittersweet Holiday Moments.

Anna is shocked to see Robert on Robin's doorstep. He insists that he's in remission and didn’t bust out of the clinic in Switzerland. They start to argue and Robin can hear them from the hallway as she returns from walking Emma. She is thrilled to see him. Robert smacks Anna on the rump and says they were only playing 'catch up', not arguing. Then, he only has eyes for Emma and sits down so that he can hold her. He says that she is proof that he has done something right. He references his battle with cancer and says, "You, my darling, were definitely worth the fight." When he notices that both the women have teared up, he says that he survived the cancer and they need to lighten up! He tells them to call the doctors and they'll reassure them that he's in great shape now. They agree to take his word for it. Robert switches the conversation to the wedding and asks if there's any way he can help. Robin says that she has everything she needs.

Patrick comes home and Robert says that he's come to have that 'talk' with him before the wedding. Patrick takes it good naturedly. Anna whisks Patrick away so that Robert and Robin can have some time alone together. Robin says that she's really glad that he's here. He admits that he's at about 90% and that his appetite is back and the hair is on its way. Robin says that since he's doing so well would he walk her down the aisle?

Coming To Terms

At Wyndemere, Robin pleads with Nikolas to go along with Mr. Craig. She can't figure out what Craig is injecting, so he isn't safe unless they cooperate. They talk about their loved ones, both wondering if they can ever get back what they had. Nikolas advises Robin to keep Patrick out of the loop. He believes they need to keep Patrick and Emily as far from the situation as they can. Robin wonders about a counter-agent. Craig returns with Alexis and Robin begins checking her out. He suggests she stay at Wyndemere but Nikolas refuses to let her stay! Alexis can't believe that Nikolas won't let her stay at the mansion. Telling her that she needs to see a doctor, not stay at the estate. Annoyed, Alexis wonders what is behind Nikolas not wanting her to stay. Mr. Craig interrupts, offering to take Alexis home. She agrees. Kristina returns with an apple and they head home. He tries to stop her, but she doesn't stop. Nikolas is worried about Mr. Craig being alone with Alexis. "Craig needs you alive," Robin says, trying to reassure him. Nikolas isn't so sure and wonders if he is just another mistake that Craig is making. At the boat launch, Alexis tells Mr. Craig she can make it the rest of the way on her own. Mr. Craig won't take no for an answer, though, and tags along anyway.

There's some strange behavior going on.

Coleman was about to tear into Patrick for punching him in the face, but Robin smashes a pool cue across his torso and tells him to “back off”. Then, she tells him to get Patrick some ice, but Jake tells her that Patrick hit him; he can get his own ice.

Alcazar finds Skye!

Luke meets Robin at the docks, back from Paris. She asks what he thinks about the doctor's treatment for Laura. He thinks he might be onto something. He says that it's hard to imagine any type of treatment that might work, but he liked that Dr. LeGrassi was confident about the treatment. Patrick sent Robin a birthday present, which Luke delivers to her. It's a small box, about 4 inches square. Luke says that the treatment may kill Laura, and he wants to weigh the risks of losing her forever or having her back. Robert comes down, and tells Luke that Alcazar has found Skye. Luke leaves, and as he's leaving, Robert asks where he's going. Luke says if Alcazar has Blaze, then something will happen. Robin interjects that maybe they should just let the police handle the situation… But both Robert and Luke laugh about this. Robin says that they're getting older, and maybe they should think about the fact that they're not so agile anymore. It's Robin's birthday today, and Luke reminds Robert of it, who says that he never forgot! Luke and Robin joke around about being doddering old fools.

At the hospital, Robert jokes around with Robin and gives her a small birthday present in a box. It is a pretty bracelet. Robin shows her father the other present that Patrick sent her… It turns out to be the exact same bracelet! He says that it's funny that she's falling in love with someone just like her.

Sam asks Jason to come back

Robin is talking to her father, Robert, and asks if he's ok. He says that Alcazar's goons took the bait. Robin expresses her concern for him.

At the docks, Robin and Robert are talking… Robin says that it must be difficult to be expecting a child and to be so far from home.

If not for those meddling kids...

On the docks, Robert, bloodied up, is asked by Robin who did that to him. She asks if it was Alcazar's men. She says that maybe she should stay out of Alcazar's business. Robert says “Over my dead body!”

In one of the hospital rooms, Robert is in a bed, and a detective shows up, asking if he can talk to Robert about what happened. Robin says to the detective that Lorenzo Alcazar is behind it, but Robert says that there is no suspect, and that he only fell down some stairs. Robin says he's lying, and the detective says that he can't press charges unless the victim wants him to. Robert says that Alcazar is only trying to get to Robin through him. Robin says that he's not trying to get to her, he's trying to find Skye. She tells him that she's looking out for his best interests.

Robin and Robert argue about how he won't charge Alcazar. A doctor comes in and tells Robert that his CAT scans are alright. He asks whether he can travel, and the doctor says that he'd recommend some rest for a few days, but yes, he can travel.

Robert gets dressed, and Robin asks if he isn't worried that Alcazar will have him followed. He responds that he's going to lead them on a wild goose chase!
