Patrick dries off in the locker room, as Robin says she wants to question Edward about Andrea. Patrick reluctantly agrees, but wants to smooch first.
At the hospital, Robin and Emma drop Patrick off at work and she asks him to play hooky, but he can’t because of Michael. Olivia calls Patrick and asks him to come to the Metro Court right away and to be discrete.
The reception gets underway. Maxie bemoans how Robin now has the perfect life, but assures Spinelli that she hasn't wanted the traditional stuff since she was about six. Patrick dances with Anna, Robin dances with Robert, and just as Spinelli is getting ready to ask Maxie to dance, Matt does. She hands Spinelli her glass and gives Matt a whirl.
Later, Robert makes a lovely speech. He applauds Robin and Patrick in choosing each other. He advises them to stay the course when facing challenges. Anna chimes in and gives a list of 'don'ts' for the newlyweds to follow. Later, Anna and Robert each remember the night that they told tiny Robin that they were divorcing. When they realize that they're thinking of the same thing, they point out that Robin was born of their love for each other. Robert tells Anna that it still ranks as the greatest love of all time.
Sonny finds Patrick at the church and promises that he won't stay for the wedding. He says that he just came by to show his support and will leave so as not to cause any trouble here. Patrick tells Sonny that he feels like the luckiest guy in the world and promises to give Robin everything that she deserves.
Mac finds Robert and recognizes the stressed look in his eye. He says that he felt that way after walking Robin down the aisle a few weeks ago. Robert thanks Mac for taking such good care of his daughter all those years and seeing her through so many hard times. "You did good little brother," Robert tells Mac.
Luke shows up and tells Robert that he looks seasick. He reminds his old friend that he has recovered national treasures and stopped wars from taking place, and asks what's the big deal here? Robert tells him that he'll get it when he walks his daughter down the aisle. "Bite your tongue," Luke snipes.
Patrick returns home with eggnog lattes and finds Robin in a foul mood. She's upset about misplacing her grandmother Philomena's necklace and yells at him for not helping her around the house. Robert and Anna arrive to find there's no food for their Christmas Eve dinner and Patrick forgot to pick up the dessert. Maxie and Spinelli arrive and he pulls a gift for the new mother out of his pocket. He tries to give Santa and his jacket the credit, but Maxie shushes him and drags him out the door. Robin opens the bag and finds some cookies that Anna promptly takes a bite out of in spite of Patrick's warnings about Spinelli's cooking. Anna marvels at the taste. Robert bites next and then Robin. She can't believe that Spinelli somehow got her grandma Philomena's recipe! Later, Patrick drops a cookie and when he looks under a chair to pick it up, he finds the missing necklace.
Luke comes upon Sasha and kneels down next to her body. Robert shows up and tells him that he hasn't lost his touch. Luke is happy to see that his old buddy is in town, and in remission to boot. He offers him a Cuban cigar to celebrate, but before they can light up the cops show up and cuff them. Before they can be dragged to the PCPD, Mac shows up and tells them to uncuff Robert and Luke. Then he hugs Robert but says he should punch his lights out. He warns Luke against getting Robert involved in any of his schemes and then Luke rushes off to find his cigar dealer. Robert takes the opportunity to talk to Mac about walking Robin down the aisle and Mac urges him to do it. Robert balks, but Mac tells him to walk his daughter down the aisle or sit out the wedding in jail!
Mac has driven Robert back to Robin's house and they all sit down for Chinese takeout. Robin makes a toast to all of them and thanks them for loving and supporting her. Mac says that he'll sit in the front row of the church and cheer her on as Robert walks her down the aisle.
