Dr. Hunter Makes Waves.

Later Patrick is trying to relax when Anna finds him to check in on him. He tells her that he won't be run out of Robin's life without a fight. Anna asks if Robin had gotten pregnant by a Mr. X would he still want to step up? Patrick says he can't answer that. He says things have changed between him and Robin but they fell apart again after he asked her to live with him like a real family. Anna says that Robin sees that as the beginning of the end because of the way she grew up. Patrick says that he, too, had a father who was hardly ever around and he's going to do the opposite.

Patrick Wants Visitation!

Patrick stops Robin on the way out of the house, telling her that she isn't going to work. Robin says she is going to work and there is nothing he can do about it. Patrick tells her to move in with him, starting an argument. They yell at each other. Anna arrives and tells them to keep it down. She tells Patrick he can go on to work and she'll take care of Robin. He leaves. Robin tries to put her foot down about going to work but Anna insists that she take it easy. Robin says she doesn't need to be babied. Anna's boss calls and while she is distracted with the call, Robin slips out the door.

Sonny Makes an Emotional Plea.

Anna shows up on Robin's doorstep with scones and a sensible outfit. She tells Robin that she's thinking about putting in for a desk job and is trying to face reality. Robin can see what's going on and tells her just because she's about to become a grandmother doesn't mean she's old. Anna talks about getting some window boxes for her flat and maybe buying some proper furniture. Her phone rings and before she answers it she promises not to go anywhere this time. She speaks for a minute with Eli Love's tour manager and politely turns down backstage passes in Rio. After she hangs up, Robin insists that they trade Anna's tea for a proper drink. "Thank God," Anna says and they're out the door.

Robin and Anna show up at Jake's and are glad to find Patrick there. He asks Anna what's with the middle school math teacher look and she says that she's just trying to be a proper grandmother. They take a table and Anna immediately tells Patrick that she was wrong to suggest marriage and it's none of her business. There's a bar fight brewing behind her and after trying to talk over the noise for a while, she stands up and tells the guys to cool it. One of them promptly holds a knife to her neck for her troubles. Before Patrick and Coleman can do anything, Anna knocks both guys out in a matter of moments. Anna orders a gin martini and then takes a call. This time it's Eli Love himself and Robin can hear her try to back out of coming down to Rio to party. Robin convinces Anna to go, and on her way out she promises to be back in time to paint the nursery.

One Less Evil Citizen in Port Charles.

Patrick has just stepped inside Robin's door with takeout food and Anna pounces on him asking when he's going to marry her daughter. Robin tries to protest, but Anna says that they are clearly in love and have many more opportunities than she and Robin's dad did years ago when Robin was in the oven. Patrick agrees that maybe he should go, and slips out. Robin turns to her mother and explains that Patrick is the ultimate bachelor and wants no part of marriage. She admits that if she looks into the future, a marriage with Patrick would be disastrous for her, too, since he'll invariably revert to his old ways. She says that she looks forward to a peaceful existence with her baby and a nanny. Anna asks her to be honest about her feelings and consider just how much she loves Patrick. Robin says that she respects Patrick's decision and that marrying him isn't her "be all, end all." She asks Anna to go find him and undo the damage she just caused. Anna begrudgingly respects Robin's wishes and gets up to go, but she gets paged to go back to the jungle for work. She promises to come back soon and help Robin paint the closet. As she rushes out the door, Robin corrects her and says, "…paint the nursery."

Unlikely Alliances.

Anna and Luke are still partying it up on The Haunted Star. They have strewn some of their clothes about and are wishing there was a strippers' swing somewhere in the vicinity. They are able to rig one up and just as Anna starts to play on it, Robin, Patrick and Tracy show up. In spite of their scowls, Anna is thrilled to see them because how many grandmas do they know who can perform such moves, she asks. As she stretches to reach another shot from Luke, she pulls a muscle in her back. They get her off the swing and she agrees to go home and leave "Spence" behind. Luke slurs to Spanky Buns that she needs a ride on the "trying flapeze." Spanky doesn't think so.

Robin gets Anna back to her place and they continue to talk about impending mother (and grandmother) hood. They complain of stretch marks and pimples, grey hair and wrinkles. Robin expresses her fear of raising her baby alone - in spite of all of Uncle Mac's invitations to move back home. Patrick returns with takeout food and before Robin even gets a mouthful of corned beef down, Anna asks him when he's going to marry her daughter.

Harsh Realities.

Patrick shows up at Robin's door declaring that he is NOT hot for her mother! He says that Anna's cool and everything, but old enough to be a grandmother! Then he crumbles to the ground because Anna has shown up behind him and pulls a martial arts move on him. "Nothing worse than a rusty granny," Anna explains as Patrick has a hard time getting up off the ground. Robin tells her mom about Patrick's attraction to her and no matter how hard he tries to explain, there's nothing he can say to remove his foot from his mouth. So, he finally gives up and leaves. Robin and Anna sit and talk about the "g" word so that Anna can get used to it. She asks what grandmothers do anyway? As she tries to fold baby clothes, suddenly she needs some air and tells Robin not to wait up for her.

Tracy shows up and Lulu uses it as an excuse to leave. Luke sighs and asks his wife if they can make love, not war today. Instead, she continues to badger him about getting out of the mob business. As they go around and around, Anna comes in looking for some fun. Tracy informs her that the casino is closed for business. Luke agrees to open a table for her if she plays for high stakes. Upon hearing that, Tracy informs Luke that she'll be home late and leaves in a huff. Anna tells Luke that she's a few months short of meeting the most ego-deflating person in her life - her grandchild. Luke admits that he's no fan of procreation either and comes up with a plan for her. He tells her not to change…to be herself, in fact, she should start being "more of herself." Before long, every spin of the roulette wheel leads to a shot and someone removing an article of clothing.

Bon Voyage Dr. Devlin?

"Is it yours?" a very flabbergasted Anna asks Robin when she sees her pregnant belly. Robin laughs and assures her that it is indeed her baby. Anna puts a pillow in front of Robin's belly so she can think clearly and then calls it a "fabulous shock." Anna assumes that Patrick is the father and Robin tells the story from the beginning. She tells her mother about her plan to raise the baby on her own and Anna warns her not to jump to that conclusion just yet. There's a knock on Robin's door and Anna assumes it is her baggage. When she opens the door and sees Patrick, she corrects herself and tells Robin that it's her baggage! Then she hugs "Daddy" and says they should celebrate. Patrick says that a beer sounds good. They all agree that Jake's is in order, and Patrick goes ahead to get a table. As soon as Anna comes back from the bathroom she tells Robin that she just took an emergency page and has to leave. She promises not to be gone long.
