Scott arrives at Rose Lawn and finds that Laura is gone but Tracy with a blond wig is sitting in her chair. Next, we see Tracy arriving at home and pouring herself a drink. Alan asks where the Laura wig is and Tracy says it's in the dumpster and won't be returning. Alan says that's exactly what Luke will be doing - not returning! She tells him that she's sick of him, and Edward comes in and says that she can't yell at furniture and expect to continue on as CEO of ELQ.
Luke is dressed and ready for today's custody hearing. Tracy approves of his clear eyes and nice suit, but Alan keeps hounding Tracy to speak to Lulu beforehand. Finally, Tracy asks Luke if she can talk to Lulu to prevent her from "finding out." Just then, Lulu walks into the room and asks what she's going to find out? Luke stands up and says that it will get ugly in the courtroom and he doesn't want her to be there. Lulu says that the whole family needs there to make sure that Scott Baldwin doesn't win. Tracy and Luke contend that Scott will drag up old ugly things that she shouldn't have to hear. Lulu tells Tracy that this is a Spencer family matter. Just then, Monica and Edward come into the room and offer their two-cents worth. They gently tell Lulu that they think it would be too hard for her to go today.
Jax has called Edward and Monica to the Metro Court to "clear up some confusion before it starts." When they arrive, Jax re-introduces his brother Jerry after his recent plastic surgery. They don't understand why this involves them and Jerry politely says that there is some confusion on the part of the police. He explains that he apparently looks like James Craig. Monica's jaw drops open as she thinks about the monster that let Alan die. Edward smartly says that if Jerry looks like James Craig, then he IS James Craig. Jerry apologizes for the stress they've been through, but he is not the man who sent their loved one staggering to his death. Jax adds that a forensics lab is working on proving it. Later on, Jerry is munching grapes as Carly expresses her unhappiness over their newest situation. He tells her that he's risking his freedom so that he can stay with his brother and he's not going anywhere.
Skye has invited Edward over and he is uncomfortable being in a gangster's house. She tells him not to worry about Lorenzo anymore. She tells her grandfather that he was right and that her love for Lorenzo was spit back in her face and cost her everything. Edward assumes that Lorenzo left her moneyless and she tells him that she has plenty of money. She says that she wants Lila to know him and the family and that she misses them, too. "Grandfather, will you give us another chance?" Skye pleads. Edward tells her that no one deserves the pain of yearning for the life they walked away from. Skye is crying and begs for his acceptance again. Edward gently tells her that he made his own mistakes in the past. He says that when Alan brought her into their lives, he grew to love her as his own granddaughter. And that's why it hurt so deeply when she turned against the family, he says. He goes on and says that Alan begged him on his deathbed to forgive her, but he can't forget the news footage of Alan staggering out of the building in pain. He tells her that it's not that he won't forgive her, he can't. Then, he stands up and leaves.
Edward goes home and tells Monica that Skye wants to return to the nest because Lorenzo has finally showed his true colors. Monica laughs and says that Skye is the reason that she is a widow! Edward says that Monica isn't to worry, he turned her down. Monica tearfully tells him that she's still getting sympathy cards. She doesn't like the memories that they bring back and asks if she can throw them away. He tells her that he kept the ones he got after Lila died. Monica says that she just wants some peace and to be able to breath again. She says that she knows damn well that Alan would want them to take Skye back, but she can't do it. She says that she can't get peace by disrespecting his wishes either.
Then Luke tells Tracy that Baldwin subpoenaed him. Alan speaks up by saying that Luke isn't rational about Laura. Tracy doesn't miss a beat and says, "You need to be rational when it comes to Laura." Edward comes in and tells Luke to stop moaning about Laura to his current wife. Dillon comes in and asks for his tuition check, followed my Monica who says that Tracy has tons of extra money these days. As the family starts to bicker, Luke says that he needs his wife's assistance right now because he can't lose guardianship of Laura to Scott Baldwin. "Does Lulu know?" Dillon asks as he heads out the door. Edward and Edward are curious to hear more and Alice comes into the room and announces that Scott Baldwin is here. Scott faces the Qs and Edward asks Scotty how much money it'll take to make him go away. Just then Bobbie comes in and says that she's glad that everyone has arrived for the meeting she has called.
Bobbie explains that Scott is there because she invited him. She tells everyone that the fight for Laura is the last thing that she would want. She reminds Luke that he is the love of Laura's life, and turns to Scott and says that he was her first love. Monica tells Scott that Laura's guardianship is no more his business than it is hers. Dillon returns home and tells Scott that he should be shot. He says, "Where do you get off criticizing Luke after what you did to Laura?" Everyone wants to know what Dillon means by that. Dillon doesn't get a chance to explain because Scott says that he's going to do everything in his power to get Laura out from under Luke's drunken thumb. After everyone leaves, only Tracy and Alan are left in the study. They start to talk about why Dillon might be acting so strangely about the Rick Webber murder case. Alan remembers that before he died Dillon learned that Alan or Monica didn't do it. Together they surmise that means that Scott must have! Tracy says that Luke would lose it if he thought he made Laura think that she killed Rick. Dillon comes in and tells Tracy that she is right. Tracy tells him that he can't tell Luke! Just then Luke comes in and asks what he can't know about. Dillon quickly covers by saying that he's sick of everyone telling him that he can't date Lulu!
Lulu is watching Carly and Jax dance, and Spinelli is watching her watch them. He fantasizes about what their first dance would be like if they got married. He imagines a sassy, sexy tango and the bewilderment of all the onlookers. Edward grabs Dillon and tells him that he went to finishing school; therefore he knows that he is obligated to offer a dance to a lovely young lady such as Lulu. So, they dance and Spinelli goes from fantasizing to stewing. Edward and Monica go over to Jason's table to say hello. Jason takes them over to see the boys and Michael calls her "Grandma Monica" which makes her very happy. Soon, Carly dances with Michael and Morgan and it's Sonny's turn to stew. It doesn't take long for Milo to demand his turn to dance with Lulu.
At the Q's, Edward, Monica, Alice, Emily, Dillan and Ned are dressed for the wedding. Luke wants to know if the opera is in town. They tell him that his niece is getting married today! He says that his niece doesn't like him and he's had his share of weddings. Alice says that since Tracy is out of town, she could be his date. Luke says that would sweeten the pot, but still declines. Ned wonders if Skye will attend today and then Edward mentions that the war between Sonny and Lorenzo is looming. Luke bolts to attention and mentions something about the wedding being the perfect diversion. He takes off and says, "I've got a life to leave…"
Everyone is starting to gather in the ballroom. Monica is missing Alan. Robin and Nikolas "clink" champagne glasses. Emily tells Patrick that she knows the truth about Nikolas and Robin. Dillon, Milo and Spinelli are arguing over Lulu, and when she walks in they stop and stare. They start to fight over her again and she chooses to go hang out with her two other dates, Michael and Morgan. Ned finds Alexis and they laugh at the memory of the last time they were at a wedding together (she left him at the altar!). He asks her if she'll be his date and she hugs him and laughs. Jax is in another room looking out the window, not worried that Carly won't show, but wishing that his brother would.
