Will Dillon Leave PC?

Thursday, July 05 2007

Tracy fakes taking her meds and then hides the pills in a potted plant. Alan argues with her about Dillon, telling her to let the boy go. Lulu arrives. Tracy asks Lulu to help her out by convincing Dillon to stay in town! She believes that Lulu can convince him to stay when no one else can. Georgie walks in and tells Lulu about Dillon's job offer, and that Tracy is the only thing holding him in PC. "Busted," Alan says gleefully. Lulu is excited about the job offer, just like Georgie is; they both think Tracy is doing the wrong thing. Tracy disagrees and throws her failed marriage in Georgie's face. Lulu comes to Georgie's defense. Tracy makes one more plea, trying to get Lulu on her side. Lulu and Georgie leave. Alan continues to try to get through to Tracy, comparing Dillon to her. Just then Edward walks in, siding with Tracy! He believes LA is a mistake for Dillon, too. Tracy tells him to get her out of the sanitarium so she can fix Dillon's life! They begin arguing. Ned walks in, telling them to stop messing with Dillon's life. "Start thinking with your hearts," he advises them and tells them to let him go!

Lainey has gone out to Shady Brooke to counsel Tracy, who is insisting that she has never seen a ghost. Alan is sitting next to Lainey and doing his best to trip Tracy up. "She knows you're lying" Alan warns as Lainey asks Tracy questions. Finally Tracy throws her cup of water and yells that she can't hear herself think. Lainey simply says that they have a lot of work to do. As Tracy proceeds to yell at the doctor, Edward is let into the room. He has brought an affidavit for Lainey to sign that states that Tracy isn't fit to run ELQ anymore.

Dillon goes to Shady Brooke and tells Edward to leave so he can talk to his mother alone. Alan applauds Dillon's guts as Edward leaves. As soon as (Dillon thinks) he is alone with his mother, he tells her about the hot new Hollywood director that Ned has hooked him up with. He says that he has the chance to work on his next film, from pre-production until final edits. He excitedly says that they will shoot in Montana and the streets of Seattle and he'll be learning from one of the best. Tracy interrupts him and says that she doesn't know what he's talking about. Meanwhile, Alan voices his enthusiasm for Dillon. He tells Tracy to tell her son that she's proud of him and that he has talent up the wazoo. Tracy thinks for a minute as Dillon nervously looks on. He says, "Isn't this exactly what you would do if you wanted something as badly as I want this?" Tracy reluctantly says that he can go -- even if it means that she's rotting in a place where people howl at their cereal. She lays more guilt on him and when she sees that he is starting to crumble, she promises to help him realize his dream AFTER he gets her out of there. Dillon sullenly says that he'll think about it, and then skulks out the door. Alan tells Tracy that she is shameless, which means that he'll never stop haunting her.

Tracey Is Committed!

Thursday, June 21 2007

A few medical workers show up at Tracey's, ready to take her away to the Shady Brook. Tracy, trying to ignore Alan, tells them that she isn't crazy. Edward and Monica join forces and team up against Tracey, who calls on a maid as her defense. Alice, though, doesn't really back up Tracey and tells the medical workers that she only yells at the furniture when Tracey isn't yelling at her! Monica brings up the forged will. Alan keeps pushing her and finally breaks Tracey, who begins yelling at him. The workers put her in a strait jacket and haul her off to Shady Brook!

Dillon comes downstairs for breakfast and after a while realizes that Tracey isn't there. He demands that Edward and Monica tell him what is going on but they don't tell him at first. Finally, Monica says, "Edward had your mother committed!" Dillon can't believe what Edward did and Monica admits that Tracey doesn't really see Alan. But, Monica believes that Tracey is trying to work the family over. "Your mother is sick and if we can prove that she is incompetent she can't be responsible for helping Luke kidnap Laura," Edward says. Still, Dillon is angry that they had Tracey put away.

At Shady Brook, Tracey exchanges barbs with her nurse, telling her to let her out or else! The nurse releases Tracey from the strait jacket. Tracey offers her money to get Edward trussed up in a jacket. Alan appears, talking to Tracey who tries to ignore him. "FYI, I was only pretending to see my brother to manipulate my family," Tracey tells her but the nurse obviously doesn’t believe her. When they are alone, Alan tells Tracey to relax. She tells him that he can haunt her forever but he won't make her crack! "We'll see about that," he says. They argue, neither admitting to anything. Dillon rushes in, worried about Tracey and relieved to see that she is okay. He promises to get Tracey out and she suggests that he blackmail Edward to do it! Dillon leaves. Alan tells Tracey that Dillon won't be able to put anything over on Edward. From outside, Edward watches Tracey argue with Alan. He heads to the nurses station, asking them to take good care of Tracey. "Tracy may need to be here indefinitely," he says.

Did Sam Do It?

Wednesday, June 20 2007

Edward brings Lainey inside to talk to Tracy. Alan says, "I told you so" and Lainey notices that Tracy is agitated as she stares at his chair. Lainey asks if there is anything particular about that chair? Lainey whisks Tracy off for a private conversation and then Monica joins Edward in the study. He rants on about how insane Tracy is acting lately and Monica can't believe that Edward really means that. She says that she would love just 5 minutes of conversing with Alan again - so she could tell him that she loves him. When Tracy returns from her talk with Lainey, she informs Edward that she is fully in charge of her faculties AND of ELQ.

Sam's World is Closing In.

As Monica is laying down the law about having a productive summer to Lulu, Alan warns Tracy to stop staring at him because Edward is starting to notice. Then Alice escorts Scott and a police officer into the study. He says that they have come to arrest Tracy for aiding in the disappearance of Laura Spencer. Edward insists on a warrant but as soon as he sees it, it tells the cop to "get it done" and then asks Alice about dessert. Tracy says that when she went into Laura's room, Laura was already gone so she tried on the wig and clothes just for fun. Scott insists that Tracy tell him where Luke took Laura or else she'll go to jail. Tracy says that she doesn't know and then she's promptly carted off to the PCPD. Exasperated, Lulu asks Edward and Monica why no one is going to help her!

Tracy goes into the Q study with both barrels loaded. She asks why Lulu is the only person who was willing to bail her out. Monica says that Lulu wanted to -- for some strange reason. Tracy says that she is the CEO of ELQ and if she's in jail it'll hurt everyone. Alan continues to chat with Tracy and she banters back oblivious to the fact that Monica and Edward think she's nuts. After Tracy leaves to take a bath Monica stares at Alan's chair and asks Edward if it's remotely possible that Alan is still around. Edward tells her that it's nonsense and then she wistfully goes upstairs. As soon as he's alone, Edward calls a judge and says that he wants to talk about his daughter.

Amelia Tells Jason Everything.

Tuesday, June 12 2007

At the Q mansion, Edward is trying to get Tracy to talk to him instead of the ghost of Alan. Lulu arrives to see why Tracy called her over. She informs Edward and Tracy that just because her dad is gone doesn't mean she is moving back in. Edward rejoices at the news of Luke's disappearance. Tracy says that Lulu needs someone to look after her and the rest of her family are always on call. Monica comes in and wonders why Cook told her there will be 4 for dinner? Tracy says that Lulu is moving back in and Monica says that it's her house. (Of course, Alan says that he gave it to her - only this time no one hears him.) Just then Scott busts in and demands that Tracy say where Luke took Laura. He tells the family how Tracy and Luke pulled a fast one and snatched Laura. He tells them that they will all go to jail and Alan says that he won't. Edward asks Alice to throw Scott out and she gladly does. Tracy starts to thank her family for their support, but Edward says, "What the hell were you thinking?" Monica makes a crack about Tracy and then walks past the chair where Alan is sitting. She pauses and looks, as if she feels his presence. Alan gives a warm and loving look at her for picking up on the vibe that he was sending. The family continues to bicker over what Tracy has done now.
