Love Conquers All?

Lulu, clutching her gun inside her purse, goes into the PCPD to see Johnny. He's in the interrogation room with Mac, however, so she has to wait. (Mac is urging him to cop a self defense plea.) Trevor finds Lulu and tells her to leave because she's driving Johnny to destruction. He goes inside and busts Mac for talking to Johnny without his lawyer. Johnny says that the Commissioner just offered him a plea bargain deal that could spare him lethal injection. Mac leaves and Trevor informs him not to make any kind of deal!

An Elaborate Plan Unfolds.

Mac goes to Johnny and expresses his displeasure with the fact that his daughter and Lulu are in this mess with him. He urges Johnny to admit to killing Logan if it was self defense so as not to drag this out any longer. Outside the doors of the PCPD, Lulu is standing with a gun in her purse.

Sam's New Mission.

Jerry is chatting Mac up out in the office area, not that Mac is enjoying it. Jerry says that he's come to visit Alexis and might even enjoy her desktop that the tax payer's so graciously provided. Mac offers to wipe the smugness from Jerry's face and when Jerry tells him how illegal that would be, Mac does it anyway. He explains to his officers that Mr. Jacks lost his balance, that's all. Jerry tells Mac that one act of chivalry can be overlooked but he had better watch his step from now on.

Maxie shows up at the PCPD to visit Johnny. Mac asks what business she has with an accused killer and Maxie reminds him that he never wanted to hear about her sex life. Mac cringes and then shows her into the interrogation room. As soon as she is alone with Johnny, she expresses her concern that Lulu is about to spill the truth to anyone who will listen. Johnny asks her to continue to do her best and Maxie says that Lulu could crash like Laura did if something doesn't happen soon. Johnny takes her hand and asks her to help just as Lulu comes in and comments how cozy they look.

Scared Witless.

Claudia and Jason have been left alone in the interrogation room at the PCPD. Jason tells Claudia that forensics aren't on her side and that she and her brother are about to go down for the murder of Logan Hayes. Claudia says that she'll be home before dinner because she and Johnny are not amateurs. A little while later Mac comes in and tells them they are free to go because he has Logan's killer.

I Want To Be A Baby-Daddy!

Mac comes by Lucky’s. Johnny tells Lulu to keep quiet and convinces her to leave with Lucky. When they are alone, Mac asks for Johnny’s alibi and Johnny asks for a lawyer.

In the squad room, the detective tells Nadine they may need more from her later. The mayor walks in and demands to see Mac. Mac walks in and says he hasn’t told Scott about the murder and he isn’t going to say anything over ship-to-shore radio. The mayor wants Scott to know immediately - and he wants the case wrapped up immediately, too. Mac says Jason didn’t kill anyone but he knows who did.

Everybody Thinks They Know Whodunnit.

Maxie and Lulu are in Maxie's room talking about starting a new day just like any other day. Lulu reaches for the phone and says it would be much easier to call the cops. Maxie slams the phone down and reminds Lulu that "I didn't mean to do it" isn't a great defense. Mac knocks on the door. He comes in and after being surprised to see Lulu there, he tells them about Logan's body being dumped at the free clinic. Maxie feigns surprise and admits that she fought with him yesterday on the Elm Street pier. She says that he must've gone on and found somebody who fought back!

Anthony summons Ric and Trevor to his room to tell them that his "former chair pusher got himself dead." He relays what happened to Logan and swears that he didn't order a hit on the monkey. The two Lansings argue over what likely happened and Anthony says that someone will go to prison but it won't be Johnny. Before long Mac shows up and is glad to see that Anthony's attorneys are present. He tells them about Logan's death and Anthony laughs that the cops would think an invalid could commit a crime.

Patrick Wants Visitation!

Claudia arrives at the police station and demands to see Johnny; Mac refuses. Ric arrives with a court order to release Johnny. Alexis walks in and says Ric wasted his time because the charges are being dropped. Mac has Johnny released; Claudia hugs her brother. Ric tells them to go see Anthony but Johnny says he has other things to do. Claudia can't believe it and says they can't disappoint Anthony. Johnny changes his mind, kisses Lulu and says he'll meet her later.
