Jerry has already arrived at the PCPD when Sam is brought in. She struggles with the cops and promises to make Jerry pay for setting her up. Lucky takes her into the interrogation room and Mac tells Jerry not to leave town because he is a person of interest. Then Jerry tries to convince Alexis that he was only trying to help her and that he let it go too far. Alexis is too stunned by what she saw in the hot tub to hear anything else.
Back in Port Charles, Alexis is standing on Sam's terrace looking at Jerry and Sam in the hot tub. "You're early," Jerry states, and Sam quickly realizes that Jerry has set her up. She starts to explain to her mother that she's trying to prove that Jerry is working with Karpov to import illegal drugs. By way of proof, she tells Alexis to get the PDA out of Jerry's jacket pocket. Jerry calmly says that he does indeed have a PDA but Alexis could spare herself a lot of heartache if she smashed it without even listening to it. Sam insists that she's telling the truth, so Alexis briefly checks it out. She only finds music and restaurant listings on the PDA. Sam says that it must be encrypted or something! Jerry says that Sam came on to him and he wanted to expose her to her mother. Sam promises that isn't true, but is interrupted by Mac when he arrives with a search warrant. While the cops conduct their search, Sam tries to explain but Alexis tells her to stop talking without a lawyer. Finally, Mac finds the drugs that have come up missing from GH and replaced with fakes.
Mac has brought Patrick into the PCPD interrogation room wearing handcuffs. He says that Robin should be along shortly and they will remain in here until they work things out. True to form, Robin races in, huffing and puffing. Mac and Patrick both tell her to sit down and catch her breath, but she tells Mac that he is being ridiculous. Mac tells Robin that he loves her, and has learned to respect Patrick. He points out that they love each other, want to spend the rest of their lives together and will soon share a baby. He says that the fear of a marriage failing can be crippling, and adds that when Felicia left him, it broke his heart. He wouldn't trade a day of it, however. Then he leaves them alone.
Robin and Patrick are both eager to talk. He lets her go first, and Robin says that she doesn't know how he's been able to stand her controlling ways. Patrick says that she's been pretty wonderful. He credits her for teaching him what love means and says that their little girl is the second greatest thing to happen to him. He adds that if it was up to him, he'd ask for it all, the love, the marriage, the homework and soccer practice, everything. Then, he kneels in front of her and asks her to marry him one more time. She happily accepts. When Mac returns, he finds them kissing and gives them a warm and loving congratulations.
Robin and Patrick are both making foolish mistakes at the hospital. Epiphany lays into them about getting their collective acts together. Later Mac shows up, with smoothies and chocolate chip cookies, to talk with Robin. She thinks he's clairvoyant because she really wants to see him. Mac admits that Anna suggested that she might need to talk. They sit down and Robin says that she has made a mess of things. She explains about the two marriage proposals that have led her exactly nowhere. Mac hears her out and then promises that everything will work out.
Soon, Patrick walks by and Mac pulls out his handcuffs and places him under arrest. Patrick asks why and Mac says, "For failure to yield…to my niece."
Mac comes in the room to ask questions about the shooting. He asks Sonny if he's made any new enemies in the coffee business. Sonny denies it, but Mac says that he thought Sonny would learn after what happened to Michael, but it looks like business as usual. After Mac leaves, Sonny says that he has somewhere to go and asks Olivia to stay with Kate.
Mac and Detective Harper show up to ask Anthony a few questions. Anthony says that he's just an old man in a wheel chair, and then tells Trevor to make himself useful. Trevor puts his drink down and tells Mac that they need to look at a new player in town named Karpov. Mac asks if he's willing to come to the station to talk, and Trevor agrees. After they're gone, Ric mentions that Karpov is guilty. Anthony nods with satisfaction and warns Claudia that Sonny will likely come to their front door first. He tells her to go see Sonny to represent the family and reassure him that they had nothing to do with Kate's shooting. He tells her to comfort the man in his time of grief.
Mac and Anna are sitting together in the GH lounge waiting to find out how Robin is. Mac is ashamed of himself and everyone else for putting so much pressure on Robin. Then he talks about the time when Robin was diagnosed with HIV and how scared she must be that the baby will contract it, too. Anna reminds him that there's only a 2% chance of that happening.
Maxie takes over Spinelli's care and serves up some orange soda and potato chips. She even provides a bell to ring whenever he needs something. Jason has put her luggage in the "regrettably pink room" and she rushes upstairs to change. Mac shows up at the door to ask a few questions about Spinelli's hit and run. That's when Maxie comes downstairs wearing only a towel and asking for a loofah. Mac protests about her staying there and Spinelli rings his bell to report that his loofah is in the pink shower. Maxie rushes upstairs and Mac tells Spinelli that if anything happens to his daughter, "…that bell will find a new home in your colon."
