Back in Port Charles, Mac is questioning Jason in the interrogation room. As Mac lists the array of violence that has gone down the last few days Jason says that he hates all of this, too. Mac takes that to mean that Jason is fully involved in this mob war and promises to shut him down. Later, Diane visits and Jason says that he can't sit still for 48 hours while the DA tries to find evidence against him!
Diane goes out to the office to talk to Alexis. She insists that they let her client go, and Alexis asks Mac if she can talk to her alone. She tells Diane to distance herself from this case because this time Jason has gone too far. They go back into the interrogation room and Alexis promises Jason that she'll find the evidence she needs to prosecute him because it's time for him to pay for all the pain he's caused in this city.
Mac shows up in the door and kicks Spinelli out of Maxie's room. He follows him out to the hallway and tells him that he's directly responsible for the murder and mayhem in this town because he puts his genius to work for Jason Morgan. Spinelli respectfully listens as Mac tells him to stay away from Maxie.
At the same moment that Maxie is trying to explain to Mac that Spinelli is the only real friend that she's ever had, Spinelli is at Jason's penthouse reaching for a gun in the closet. He looks at it with all the fear of a child and then heads out the door.
Olivia goes back to the waterfront and sees that the cops have arrived and are investigating the scene. Mac spots her and asks if she saw anything out here tonight.
At the hospital, Kim orders Patrick to start CPR and then orders everyone else from the room. They watch from the door as Patrick, Kim and the other doctors work to save Robin. After they have Robin's pressure back up, Kim tells Patrick he has to go now. Matt leads him from the room. Anna and Mac ask what is going on; Spinelli and Maxie watch from a few feet away. Patrick can't talk so Matt tells them that Robin's blood won't clot and they might lose her. "No, we won't," Anna says and stalks away. Mac sits down and Spinelli offers to get him something to drink in his Spinelli way. Mac turns him down and starts talking about Robin and Patrick. "She's come close to happiness and something has always happened to take it away," he says. Spinelli tells Mac that Robin is strong and will be okay.
Out in the waiting room, Mac reminds Anna that Robin's viral load is virtually undetectable. For her part, Maxie rambles to Spinelli turning Emma into a fashion icon before she can walk.
Soon, Anna comes in to meet her granddaughter and gushes over her relentlessly. When Robin worries about the possibility of Emma being HIV positive, Anna promises that she'll worry about her child forever no matter what. Next, Mac and Maxie come in. Maxie is afraid to hold the baby, but she tells her how much they all love her. They talk about Georgie and then Mac promises to be a doting great uncle. Robin beams as she takes it all in.
Back in Port Charles, Anna brings Spinelli into Robin's room to meet Emma. Robin tells him that he should be her daughter's honorary uncle, but Mac doesn't want Emma exposed to computer hacking. When Kelly comes in, she announces that Emma is HIV negative. Then, Robin crashes.
Out in the waiting room, Anna is very upset and Mac tries to remain calm. Maxie sits next to a very sullen and quiet Spinelli. Matt doesn’t know exactly where he fits in so he rambles out the periphery of the family members and the staff.
