Live and Let Live.

At home, Jax and Dominic cover with Carly about why they are arguing. Dominic tells them he’s been reassigned and won’t be watching the boys anymore, but they are in good hands. Dominic leaves and Carly wonders why Jax is taking his anger out on him. They start arguing about their relationship and Sonny. Carly doesn't understand why he’s making it about her ex and Jax explains that he infiltrates every part of their lives, but he won’t get near Josslyn.

Jason goes to Carly’s house and tells her there has been a shift and it’s going to help Michael. He explains that Sonny is in peace talks with a rival and that he won’t be Sonny’s enforcer anymore. Carly doesn’t want him to blame himself regarding Michael, but Jason thinks he’s the only one who’s worried about him. Carly insists that’s not true and that Michael is emulating Sonny, but Jason wants to be worthy of Michael’s respect. Carly is grateful, but she doesn’t want him to risk his own life. She reminds him of all the good that he has done for her and her kids and picks Josslyn up and hands her to him.

Moving On.

Michael walks in Carly’s house and overhears his mother tell Josslyn it’s time to take care of him. Michael says he’s leaving, but Carly stops him and they discuss his recent actions. Jax joins them and Michael leaves. Carly says Michael doesn’t have a clue and it scares her. After Jax puts Josslyn to sleep he notes this is how it should be: them together with Josslyn. Carly says there’s a lot going on and thinks she should turn Michael in, but Jax tells her she can’t because it’s too late now. They discuss the issue and then Carly leaves to get a prescription, but Jax thinks she’s going to find Michael.

Dante visits Jax at his house and tells him they got evidence against Sonny. Jax instructs him to quit stalling and do his job, as Carly walks up and wonders what job that would be.

The Family Name.

At Carly's house, Alexis assures her she isn't involving herself in divorce proceedings, she's there as a friend. They debate what Jax did and Carly says she loves him, but doesn't know if she can forgive him. Alexis suggests she focus on Jax's finer qualities because they've had a wonderful marriage up till now.

In his office, Jason tells Jax if he wants Carly back he has to convince her he is equally involved in all of her kids including Michael. As Jax pleads his case, Carly walks in and lashes out at Jax. They argue and Jax leaves. Carly wonders to Jason if she can forgive Jax. Jason thinks if she wants to, she'll find a way. Carly needs him to tell her what to do, but Jason won't do it because every other time he's been wrong. Her main concern is Michael and she announces she is going to bring him home tonight.

Carly goes to Sonny's house for Michael, and Max tells her about Kiefer. Michael comes downstairs and learns she wants him to go home with her. Michael wants to stay and runs upstairs, as Sonny pulls into the driveway.

Sam visits Jason at the office under the guise of needing help on a case, but then admits she made it up because she just wanted to see him. Jason asks, "What am I going to do with you," and kisses her. Alexis walks in as Sam and Jason are in various stages of undress.

It’s Not Gambling, It’s Love.

Morgan comes home and learns Carly asked Jax to leave. Morgan wants Jax there and yells at his mother for messing things up for everyone. Morgan runs to his room and Jason comes over. Carly cries and hugs her friend.

Jason urges Carly to stay strong for her kids, especially Michael. He thinks keeping the murder a secret might be a mistake. Carly thinks they just need to bring Michael back home right now and they debate the pros and cons of going to the cops.

Carly calls Max and tells him she’s coming to get Michael. Before she leaves the house, Alexis comes over and asks her to let Jax come home. Carly asks if Jax went to her as a friend or custody attorney.

Consider it Handled.

Carly and Jax argue about him keeping the secret about Jerry and Claudia. Carly thinks Jax loves Morgan and Josslyn more than Michael because he let him live with Sonny and Claudia, but Jax denies it. Jax thinks she is taking her anger and frustration over Michael killing someone out on him. Carly wants him to leave and Jax reluctantly does so.
