CARLY CORINTHOS JACKS'S HISTORY
Carly came to Port Charles in 1996 on a mission - to ruin her mother's life. Bobbie Spencer had given Carly up for adoption and Carly wanted payback. Sleeping with her mom's husband was the best retribution, and it worked! After Carly's fling with Tony was discovered, he and Bobbie divorced. Unfortunately, it didn't bring the happiness Carly had hoped for.
Luck with men hasn't been her strong suit. Although her brief sexual interlude with Jason formed a lasting friendship, her liaisons with AJ Quartermaine and Lorenzo Alcazar were short-lived. Her most consuming love has been with mobster, Sonny Corinthos, but that's been tumultuous at best. Her children have been kidnapped, she's been held hostage for the child she carried, and she's been at death's door more than once. After her son Michael was shot by a bullet intended for Sonny, she finally looked to the future. She recommited to her husband Jax and coerced Sonny to sign away all rights to his sons.
Over the following year, her stance against Sonny softened, but they both agreed to keep the distance to protect everyone from the danger his life brings. She recommited to Jax and even got pregnant with his child. She quickly learned, however, that she has a rare blood disorder that could cause her to stroke out and die during pregnancy.

Monday, February 08 2010: More Than Biology.
Carly comes to the penthouse with Morgan and Josslyn and tells Jason about Jax. Furious, Jason asks what she wants to do, but she doesn’t know if she should divorce him. She doesn't know if she can do that to Josslyn, but she doesn't think she can live with him either. Jason tells her to take some time to process it and live with it before doing anything rash. She says the hardest part is that she loves him and she knows he loves her too. Later, Carly comes downstairs as Sam holds Josslyn on the couch with Jason. Carly asks if it's okay if Sam stays with the baby while she goes to the hospital to tell Sonny what's going on. Jason has to leave to tie up a few loose ends as well. Sam agrees, but looks nervous after they leave. Morgan comes downstairs and he talks with Sam about how Sonny will feel about him not being mad at Dante. Sam thinks Sonny will understand, as Jax comes to the penthouse and learns Carly is at GH talking to Sonny.
At the hospital, Carly pleads with Jason not to do anything to Dante because Morgan will be devastated and Sonny will turn on him. Jason knows what he has to do.
Sonny meets Olivia in the chapel and tells her it was wrong to keep his son from him for over twenty years. She's sorry it hurts him, but she thanks God every day she did it because of what he's become. She can live with it, but wonders if he can live with pulling the trigger. Sonny stays behind after Olivia leaves and talks to God about what he's done to his own son and how he lost him before he got a chance to love him. Carly walks in and a teary Sonny says he doesn't want to give up on his son.
Friday, February 05 2010: Off the Rails.
At home, Carly sits stunned, as Jax tries to defend his role in Dante's investigation against Sonny saying he wanted to protect his family. Carly thinks he did it because he hates Sonny and this was his way to finally beat him. They go back and forth and Jax thinks Sonny in prison will save all the kids, but Carly retorts that he destroyed his family. Carly gets Josslyn and tells Jax she's leaving. Jax won't give up on them because he loves her - until the day he dies. Morgan comes home and Carly says they are leaving. After they're gone, Michael comes home and Jax confesses everything to his stepson. Michael punches him and once Jax gets him under control, Michael yells out that he trusted him and wonders how he could wreck his family.
Jason and Sam meet up at the penthouse and she gets filled in on Sonny not jumping bail. Jason wants to just shut out the world tonight and just be together. That works for Sam and Jason kisses her. Carly knocks on the door and walks in with Josslyn and Morgan and tells Jason they are moving in.
