PATRICK DRAKE'S HISTORY
Robin sought Patrick's help when his father, Noah Drake admitted he couldn't perform the surgery needed to save Jason's life. Patrick initially refused to do the surgery because of his estranged relationship with Noah, but with Carly, Sam and Robin all pleading, he agreed to it. The surgery was a success, but it just made him even more cocky.
Robin tried to get information from Noah about the strained relationship between he and his son, but she only got a cryptic remark about how easy it was to fall into a bottle when your patient dies. She later discovered it was his wife, and Patrick's mother about whom he spoke.
Patrick and Robin flirted with one another openly, yet denied a romantic attraction, and he even went so far as to express an interest in Carly to raise Robin's dander. Eventually, beneath Robin's balcony, with a boom-box and flowers, he professed his love for her. If only Robin could rid herself of the guilt that she lived and Stone died, she and Patrick might stand a chance.

Robin and Patrick come to see Alexis and tell her the mayor may not be Brianna’s killer. Alexis panics that she just publicly arrested the wrong man and they rehash the evidence.
Tuesday, June 30 2009: Courtly Love.
At Jake’s, Patrick catches Johnny and Coleman up on Alexis and the mayor. Patrick thinks their affair will clear him and Matt of the malpractice suit and thanks Johnny for helping out with Matt when he was drunk the other night. Robin shows up, but only orders a cola because of the meds she’s on.
Johnny walks by Maxie and Spinelli’s table and she asks him to confirm that they never had sex and that she has been faithful to him. Johnny obliges and Maxie thinks she and Spinelli should go upstairs. Patrick and Robin come upon Spinelli and Maxie and they discuss the case.
Maxie is excited about Spinelli’s idea of courtly love until Robin tells her it means they will never have sex. Maxie thinks not and drags Spinelli away from Patrick.
