PATRICK DRAKE'S HISTORY
Robin sought Patrick's help when his father, Noah Drake admitted he couldn't perform the surgery needed to save Jason's life. Patrick initially refused to do the surgery because of his estranged relationship with Noah, but with Carly, Sam and Robin all pleading, he agreed to it. The surgery was a success, but it just made him even more cocky.
Robin tried to get information from Noah about the strained relationship between he and his son, but she only got a cryptic remark about how easy it was to fall into a bottle when your patient dies. She later discovered it was his wife, and Patrick's mother about whom he spoke.
Patrick and Robin flirted with one another openly, yet denied a romantic attraction, and he even went so far as to express an interest in Carly to raise Robin's dander. Eventually, beneath Robin's balcony, with a boom-box and flowers, he professed his love for her. If only Robin could rid herself of the guilt that she lived and Stone died, she and Patrick might stand a chance.

Wednesday, February 03 2010: Hi Beautiful.
Patrick and Robin meet up at the hospital and she makes it clear she is still upset he didn’t tell her about Dante. Lisa and Steve join them and they note Dante is stable. Steve and Patrick butt heads over Patrick observing the surgery because of what Steve calls his trust issues. Alone again, Robin rails at Patrick for keeping quiet about Dante, but he defends himself. It ends in heated words, Robin walking away and Patrick asking Lisa if she wants to go get a beer.
Tuesday, February 02 2010: No Mercy.
Elsewhere at the hospital, Patrick and Lisa butt heads over who will do Dante's surgery, as Robin sides with Lisa. Patrick insists he's the best one for the job and Lisa eventually backs his skills over anyone else's. Steve comes up and asks Robin to talk Sonny down.
In the locker room, Lisa reads Patrick Dante's test results as Patrick changes in front of her, which she doesn’t seem to mind. She wonders if he is taking the surgery just because it's a challenge. He says every surgery is a challenge but he is the best and he wants to save Dante's life.
As Patrick and Lisa scrub up, Steve walks in and tells Patrick he is off the surgery, because he is taking the operation and needs to confer with Lisa. Patrick storms off and Lisa follows him to the locker room. Patrick thinks he should be the one to pull Dante through, but he can't, so she has to do it for him. Lisa can't say no to that and walks away.
While in surgery, Dante dreams of playing stickball in Bensonhurst. He sees Sonny get out of a car and a young Dante (who looks like Morgan) runs up to Sonny, who shoots at him. Patrick watches as Dante flat lines and Steve, Lisa and the team try to save him.
