More Than Biology.

Monday, February 08 2010

Sonny thanks Dante for protecting him with the cops in his hospital room. Dante tells him he can shove it, but Sonny hopes they can build on their father/son relationship. Dante says it means nothing to him that he is his father. Sonny doesn’t want to fight with him, but things changed for him when he learned they were related. Dante spits out biology means nothing to him and it makes him sick to know he is connected to a low life like him. He doesn’t think life means anything to Sonny, citing his killing Mr. Pelletti, and says he's not fit to be anyone's father. Sonny recalls the friendship they were developing, but Dante says it was part of his job and reminds him he still pulled the trigger. Lulu comes to Dante's room and orders Sonny out. She tells him he is worse than garbage – he's a murderer. Dante wants Lulu to come near him, but Sonny knows she's just looking out for him. Sonny says she has every right to be upset, but this is between him and Dante. Subdued, Sonny promises not to make things worse than they already are. He just hopes he can make things right, but Lulu orders him out. After Sonny leaves, Lulu lies on the bed with Dante as he tries to fully understand how Sonny could be a part of him. Lulu assures him he isn't the part that she loves. Maxie comes in offering Lulu some new clothes and suggests she take a shower. Lulu doesn’t want to leave, but Dante urges her to let Maxie help her because he can't. Lulu leaves, as Dante wishes he could shower with her, and Maxie stays behind to ask if he was faking his feelings for Lulu as part of his cover. Dante doesn't think he can win with her, as Jason walks in next. Maxie leaves and Jason locks the door. He menacingly looks at Dante, as Dante wonders how exactly he's going to be killed.

No Mercy.

Mac drags Maxie into the station to tell her she will have to testify against Sonny and he wants to go over her statement. Agent Raynor comes out of the shadows and Maxie recognizes him from all the trouble Spinelli got into last year. Ronnie runs in and says 'the undercover' never showed when they were supposed to arrest Sonny. Maxie says Sonny didn't come to the christening and a cop walks in saying shots were fired at Sonny's place. Ronnie mentions Dominic's name and Maxie freaks out over him being the undercover cop. Raynor fills them in that Dominic is also Sonny's son.

As Sonny and Olivia argue, Robin approaches, saying Sonny can't do this. Robin leads him away and tells him he won't be able to solve anything tonight. He talks about Dante and wonders, what if he dies and he killed his own son? Lulu comes to the hospital, sees Sonny and lunges for him, which Robin tries to prevent. Nikolas comes upon them and tries to calm Lulu down, as she continues to rail at Sonny, who tells her he didn’t know Dante was his son. After Nikolas and Lulu leave, Jason meets with Sonny who tells him Dominic is really Dante, who is his son. Jason wants him to leave the country because he shot a cop, but Sonny won't leave. Sonny walks away and Jason calls Diane. Maxie walks off the elevator and runs into Robin who confirms everything she just learned.

Johnny runs into Maxie near the elevators and they discuss what they know about Dante. Johnny badmouths Sonny, but Maxie thinks it all sounds pretty awful. Johnny doesn’t agree with what Olivia has done, but doesn’t think she or Lulu should be forced to deal with the man who shot Dante.

At the christening, Father Coates urges everyone to make a new beginning and live a better life and then officially christens Josslyn. Afterwards, Lulu worries to Johnny about Dante, Luke is happy to be with all of his children, and Morgan questions Michael about why Sonny and Dominic aren't there. Everyone is invited to a reception at the Jacks home, but Alexis tells Jax she can't make it and leaves. Molly grabs Morgan to help her on her mission for true love. Michael talks to Jax and assumes he wouldn't want Sonny to go to prison and appreciates his help. After he walks away, Jane chastises her son for lying to Michael. Jax defends himself, but Jane feels sorry for Sonny's kids and hopes it's worth it. Carly thanks Jason for being Josslyn's godfather and wonders where Sonny is. After everyone has left, Molly and Morgan get Sam and Jason alone in the church and Molly says this would be a great place for a wedding. Jason thinks they should get to the house for the reception, but Molly continues on, citing how short life is especially for them. Molly thinks they should seize the day and tells Jason now is the moment to propose. Sam tries to talk Molly down, as Morgan is eager to get to the party. Sam says they aren't getting married any time soon, but Molly remains hopeful.

Everyone gathers at the Jacks house for the reception, as Carly talks with the Spencers saying she blames Elizabeth for what Lucky's going though. Luke suggests she not throw stones considering her past. Michael asks Max and Milo if they've heard from Sonny and they tell him he's fine and he should enjoy the party. Lulu calls Dante but can't get a hold of him and worries to Spinelli and Maxie. Spinelli offers that Sonny might have needed him on a job. Lucky and Ethan have a drink and Lucky thanks him for not trying to stop him. Ethan is fine with it as long as he gets to drive. Carly thanks everyone for being there and thanks Jax for making her life full and complete. Michael informs Kristina he told Jax what he knows about Dominic and says he never thought Jax would turn out to be such a cool guy. Lulu asks Jason where Dominic and Sonny are and Jason responds he doesn’t know about Dominic, but Sonny had business to tend to. Carly catches the Quartermaines as they begin to leave and thanks them for coming. They make their exit and then Jane leaves to go back to the hotel. She urges Carly and Jax to remember how much they love each other no matter what happens. Spinelli talks with Jason privately who says he hasn't heard from Sonny, but is confident Sonny will call if he needs anything. As Carly opens presents, Lulu sneaks out. Carly opens one gift, which is a DVD. Morgan wants to watch it but Carly says later and hands it to him. Morgan and Molly go out of the room and load the DVD onto a laptop. Sam tells Jason she knows Molly was out of line, but he doesn't necessarily think so because he loves her. Jason then hears the DVD playing with Franco's voice on it.

One Last Good Day.

Lucky enters the empty church and talks to God. He knows he's not perfect but wonders what he did to deserve this. Jason walks up behind him and Lucky tells him he can't assure him Jake will be okay because he doesn’t know what happens next and worries about dragging the kids through this mess. More guests come in, including Maxie and Spinelli. Maxie says she wants to be there for Lulu and wishes Dominic could be the godfather since they are probably going to end up together, as Spinelli looks conflicted. Lulu and Ethan come in and Lulu thanks Lucky for coming, but is still worried. Patrick and Robin take their seats, as Johnny walks in, followed by Olivia. She asks if they are speaking and he tells her it's up to her. He adds Sonny isn't there and neither is Dante. She thinks it's odd because they should both be there already. After Olivia has left, Johnny tells Lulu and Carly about the absentee guests, but Jax is ready to get things underway. The proceedings begin and Josslyn is christened.

Nothing to Lose.

Sam pays a parking ticket at the police station as Mac drags Maxie in to question her. Sam checks to make sure she's okay, but Maxie says she's got it handled. Mac leads his daughter into the interrogation room, as Diane walks in. She takes note of what's happening with Maxie and walks in the room to ask why Mac is grilling her without her lawyer present. Mac starts to question Maxie and she launches into her story leaving Michael out of it.

At Sonny's, Jason assures him Maxie will cover for them, but Sonny doesn't have the confidence that she will keep her mouth shut. Spinelli walks in as they argue about it to urgently tell them Maxie has been brought into the police station. Spinelli tells them he called Diane, which Sonny calls a bad move. Jason sends him off to find out what's going on and tells him to report back to him. Spinelli leaves and Jason says they just need Diane to make a case for self defense for Michael. Sonny wonders if Franco messed with Jason's head more than he thought and declares they will make sure the cover holds and protect Michael whatever it takes. After Jason's gone, Diane comes to tell Sonny Maxie did well. Michael then shows up and Diane leaves. Michael tells his father Dominic is working for the cops.

In the penthouse, Jason demands to know what Maxie saw the night Claudia disappeared. Maxie doesn’t think he'll like it because it proves Sonny killed Claudia, but launches into her story for Jason, Sam and Spinelli. Jason instructs her to not tell the cops she saw Michael with Sonny. Maxie agrees and says she has to go back to work. Maxie and Spinelli leave and as Sam and Jason discuss things, Michael comes over. He urgently tells Jason they can't let Sonny turn the organization over to Dominic. Jason doesn’t think Michael should be anywhere near the business and says they need to stay focused on making the Claudia thing go away. He urges him to stop acting out and to take it easy for awhile. After Michael leaves, Sam thinks any good cop will have him talking in five minutes or less. Jason says that's why Maxie needs to keep her mouth shut.

At the penthouse, Maxie assures Spinelli she will leave Michael out of her statement. Mac comes over on police business to talk with her about the night Claudia was murdered.
