DR. NOAH DRAKE/ELI LOVE'S HISTORY
Noah Drake was General Hospital's resident playboy doctor for a number of years. In his younger days, he attracted a multitude of Port Charles' ladies including Bobbie Spencer. Noah, being adverse to commitment, steered clear of her, even when she faked blindness to try to gain his attention.
Noah had a slight interest in Tiffany Hill, and although she was hopeful that something permanent might develop, Noah and Bobbie reconciled for a brief time. When the two finally called it quits and Noah tried to seduce Tiffany, she had lost all interest.
Noah departed GH for a new surgical position in another city, but several years later, Robin Scorpio found him drunk in a bar not far from Port Charles. Since the death of his wife, he had been on a drunken bender, not able to salvage his relationship with his son and unable to face his own state of ill health - a diseased liver.
At the time, Jason was suffering from a strange illness, and Robin somehow convinced Noah to return to consult on the case. Noah and his son both were instrumental in curing Jason, and Noah hung around to try to mend fences with Patrick. When Noah refused part of Patrick's liver to save his life, the gap between the two got even wider. Their relationship is strained each time their paths cross.
Patrick and Robin's relationship has brought him closer to his son, Robin, and her mother Anna.

Monday, August 04 2008: Jason Hires a New Right-Hand Man.
At GH, Patrick tells Robin how hot she looks when she's carrying his child. They decide to take a little break in the supply closet but find that it's occupied - by Noah and Anna. The foursome has a little conversation in which Anna and Noah explain that they are adults. Robin asks for a moment alone with her mother and then asks if she is really attracted to Noah or does she still want Eli? Anna says that the "worthless detour" she took with Eli took time away from getting to know Noah. They talk it out and ultimately Robin gives Anna her blessing.
Meanwhile Noah tells Patrick to lay it on him. Patrick says that Anna is amazing, but she's independent and he worries about Noah's sobriety. Noah says that his sobriety is his to deal with and he still chooses to spend time with Anna. They both smile and laugh at one of their first somewhat normal father and daughter talks.
Thursday, July 31 2008: Lucky's Losing It.
Things at GH are going from bad to worse. Anna makes sure that Elijah gets a tour of an ambulance before she kicks Eli in the face for being a deadbeat dad. Trish thanks Anna and mentions something about the tabloids as she makes her leave. Patrick stoops down to the floor to give Eli a lecture about the privilege of being a father. Robin and Anna are joined by Noah and they are all struck by Patrick's words. When Patrick is finished, Eli is put into a wheelchair and given a few choice words from Anna on his way out. Noah tells Anna that Eli doesn't deserve someone like her. He turns to Patrick and tells him that he's going to be an amazing father.
Anna and Noah have gone out to dinner together. As they sit outside on a bench, Noah tells Anna that she might miss the rock star thing. As she's denying it, she looks at Noah and has an epiphany. She says that she thinks she was attracted to Eli because he looked like him, not the other way around.
