From his hospital bed, Nik presses Emily to answer if Logan was her killer. She pauses for a minute and then tells him no. Just then Lulu rushes into the room in tears saying that she made a huge mistake. She explains that Logan's in a coma and it's all her fault. Nik helps her to realize that she was afraid for her safety and acted out of fear, that's all.

Nik is alone with Emily in his room. He tells her that if he can identify her killer, maybe she could finally be at rest. He says that he can't do this to her anymore and he needs her help.

New Lovers!

As Scott sits watching Logan's ventilator keep him alive, Nik paces outside of the room - with Emily.

The ER is Busy Today!

At GH, Nadine is at Nik's bedside. She asks him if Emily has an opinion about who killed her. Nik resists Nadine's help because he's afraid it will mean losing his visions of Emily altogether. Emily is nearby, of course, and she is willing to go through whatever it takes to be able to tell him who killed her. Nik says that the cops won't believe that he suddenly remembered anyway. Nadine leaves the room so that he (and Emily) can decide what to do. Emily tells Nik that Leticia and Georgie died too, and now Alexis, Maxie and Sam are in danger. She says that he needs to face the facts of who the killer is. She reminds him that his tumor is growing and he's going to lose this opportunity to know the truth. Then she asks him to focus on what he saw in his memory. He closes his eyes and remembers that he was begging her to leave and then a guy came and knocked him out. Emily is agitated as she recalls her strangling and then suddenly, she's gone. Nikolas reaches for her and then doubles over in pain.

Claudia Makes A Pass

Nikolas wakes in his hospital room. Emily is waiting for him there and asks what he saw. Nik says he knows he didn't kill her now. Nadine comes to the door and asks who did kill Emily. Nik tells Nadine that he saw a man there with Emily but he didn't see the man's face. Emily tells Nikolas that she is here with him. Nadine, seeing Nik's distraction, says he should ask Emily what she saw. "I think that part of you that is Emily remembers," she says.

Cupid Strikes for Some.

Nik and Sam sit down in the lounge. He tells her that he thinks he might have been the one to hit her that night. He explains about his blackout and Sam says that she could never be upset with him if he was the one. She asks when he's going to have the operation. He looks across the hallway and looks to Emily for a response.

The Past Is A Funny Thing...

Nikolas calls Robin from the docks, apologizing for being late to his appointment. He tells Emily that he isn't going to drive again. She is very worried about him. He says he found his car in a chop-shop but he doesn't remember where he left it. As they talk, Nadine walks up. She knows immediately that she is interrupting his time with Emily. Nadine starts talking about psychic powers, saying she wishes she had the same opportunities that Nik has. He becomes angry, telling her that Emily is just a figment of his imagination but Nadine insists that he is seeing Emily because he is really in touch with her spirit. "Isn't it better than having no time with her at all?" Nadine asks. She tells Nik not to give up and leaves. Emily reappears in a summer outfit, eating ice cream. She tells Nikolas that Nadine is right and runs off. He follows her.

Hit, Run and Hide.

Nikolas has left the hospital to get some fresh air and Emily finds him looking puzzled. He notices that she has changed her clothes again and she says that she wears what his mind wants to see her in. He tells Emily that things are getting less and less real for him, for example he thought he saw her in the road and then some guy cut him off and now he doesn't even know where he pulled over. She says that they need to get him back to his hospital bed.

Are Sam and Lucky Moving Forward?

Nikolas goes to Jason's office and asks if Coop is really the killer. Jason says the police believe it and that is enough. Max interrupts and pulls Jason out of the meeting. Emily appears to Nik. She tells him that he has to get really mad at her, just like the night of her murder, or they will never know who really killed her. He doesn't want to but finally begins yelling at Emily to leave.

Jason hears Nikolas yelling and hurries back to the office to find out what is wrong. Nik says he was trying to recreate that night but that he can't picture anyone else in the room except him. He asks Jason if he is sure that Coop is the killer; Jason says no. "Do you think it was me?" Nikolas asks. Jason says no! Nikolas leaves. He goes to the hospital to look in on Liz. Emily is waiting for him in the hall. She tells him to go talk to Elizabeth and then talk to Spencer and to stop focusing on her because she is dead. Nik reaches out to her; Nadine sees him and watches while he walks away.
