There's a Monster Lurking.

Maxi comes straight out from seeing Robin cry to face Leyla in the ballroom. She calls her a liar and a skank for stealing Patrick from her cousin. Then she pulls her strand of pearls off her neck and walks away. Nearby Scott asks Robin if Luke told her where he stashed Laura. She says that she wouldn't tell him anyway. Patrick approaches Robin and asks to talk for a minute. He pulls her outside and says that Georgie attacked Leyla and it's her fault!

AZ has made his way into the castle. He finds an antique knight suit in the foyer and gives in a deranged smile. Later, Coop wanders out there and admires the antique gun that the knight is holding. Georgie finds him and asks him to give Maxi another chance. Before he can answer, he gets a text and excuses himself because he has something that he has to go take care of.

And So It Begins.

Logan and Lulu arrive, followed by Georgie - on Coop's arm! She tells him that she couldn't bear to come alone and he seems pleased with the invitation. She says that she's not much of a dancer, but her sister is. Coop asks if that is why she invited him? Georgie says that she only wants him to give Maxi one dance. Across the room, Maxi is approached by a masked Johnny who asks if he can be her date. She sees that Coop and Georgie are arm-in-arm so she says "why not?"

Em Stands By Her Man.

In the hall Spinelli is showing Nadine his "pasa doble" moves and runs into Georgie's cart. He excitedly asks her if she has a date to the ball and Georgie stumbles for a second. Then she says that she does. He introduces her to his date and Georgie politely says that they've met. He asks her to advise Nadine where she can shop for a gown and then calls her "Faithful Friend and Dispenser of Wisdom." Ouch.

Logan's in a Pickle.

Nadine is at the counter at Kelly's ordering a muffin before she reports to the hospital. She and Georgie chat a little, but are interrupted by Luke and Scotty's argument on the other side of the dining room. The subject of their problems? Lulu (and Laura, if the truth be told.) Lulu shows up and tells them both to stay out of her relationship with Logan. Scott takes off and Lulu thanks Luke for being there for her, but informs him that he can't interfere in her life.

Lulu reports for work at Kelly's and Georgie comes right out and asks her who she's going to the ball with. Lulu tells her Logan and Georgie practically floats out of Kelly's. Then Logan comes in and wants to talk to Lulu. Without telling her the whole story, he says that he's having problems with Ric. Lulu tells him to ask Scott to get Ric of his back. "It's not like he has anything on you, right?" Lulu smiles. Then she asks Logan if he'll be her date to the ball.

Spinelli finds Nadine at the hospital, and in a very roundabout way, invites her to the ball. His voice jumps an octave when he finally voices the words. Nadine doesn't know what to say, she's never been to a real ball, and finally tells Mr. Jackal that she would love to be his date. Georgie has come up behind them and heard the whole thing.

Nikolas Is Worried About The Rages

Georgie arrives at Jason's apartment to see Spinelli. He's been researching a few class options for her, which warms Georgie's heart. They chat and Spinelli shows her a new program he is using to track the text messages.

Nik comes clean with Emily.

At Kelly's, Logan tells Lulu that he's not the biggest mistake of her life. Maxi and Georgie are standing by taking it all in. When she can see that Lulu is faltering, Georgie urges her not to let him back into her life because he'll just hurt her. Maxi agrees. Logan continues to try to convince Lulu to give him another chance and she asks him one question. "Did you sleep with her after you slept with me?" When he doesn't answer, Lulu tells him to leave her alone. As he leaves, he tells her that he would do anything to take it back. Maxi stays in Lulu's face, and Lulu tells her that she is "the baby-faking, drug stealing, tramp of Port Charles." Maxi tells her that this is exactly what she gets for everything that she's done - including coming on to her boyfriend (Coop).

Spinelli has traced all activity from Johnny's text and realizes that Cary's phone has just texted him and arranged to meet him in the park. He quickly calls Jason and can't reach him, so he leaves a dire warning on his voicemail. Georgie arrives and wants to vent about the Lulu/Maxi/Logan situation, but realizes that Spinelli is distracted. He admits that Carly is in trouble and then shows Georgie the text messages on his computer. Only now that he looks at the actual words, he thinks that they might be coming from Fair Lulu. He panics and leaves a spastic voicemail for Sonny that ends with "…with love, the Jackal."
