Liz and Jason are enjoying a stolen moment at Queen of Angels. They're at the altar, of all places! She tells him that she feels as if she's dreaming to be with him, like this. Suddenly Maxie, Mac and Robin arrive and Mac gets in Jason's face for showing up. Robin asks for a moment alone and asks Jason what changed his mind about coming? She's happy to hear that Maxie was the person to finally get through to him about how important he is to her on this day.
Then she goes back to the bride's room and Liz starts working on her hair. Robin is as calm as can be and Liz wistfully tells her that she makes love look good. Robin says that she's grateful for her friendship and then confesses that she invited Jason for a secret reason. She admits to wanting him to be able to look at Liz during the ceremony and get some ideas of his own. Liz just smiles as she finishes Robin's hair.
Tequila Time!
Robin is in full gear at GH today. Liz and Epiphany gently warn her that it's time for her Type A personality to lighten up a little. Robin resents being referred to as a control freak, and then goes to Lainey with ideas on how to treat a patient while she's on maternity leave. Before long, Epiphany informs Robin that the rest of her patients for the day have cancelled, and Robin thinks everyone just wants her to go home and put her feet up. Patrick tells her that he has something in mind and takes her by the hand.
Patrick brings Robin in to Jake's and all of her friends are there for a surprise bridal/baby shower. Lainey, Kelly, Liz, Epiphany, Nadine and Coleman all have margaritas, but give her a 'virgin' one. Coleman makes a crack about a pregnant virgin, while Liz gives a lovely toast. Then they do a 'lick it, slam it, suck it' for old time sake with tequila shots.
Spinelli's Committed. Literally.
Jason is flat on the floor over at Liz's art studio. He fell off of the ladder and Elizabeth can't help but laugh because it took a ladder to actually hurt 'Stone Cold'. She explains that maybe he is like a wild animal and only gets hurt while in captivity. As she wraps his sprained ankle, he says that he was distracted because he was watching her. They start looking at pictures of Jake, and almost kiss, but Sonny calls and demands that Jason come see him.
Team Lulu Comes Together.
Nadine and Elizabeth are working together at GH. Nadine admits that she hasn't told Nikolas her true feelings yet, and Liz suggests that she just keep it simple and find a reason to spend time together.
Liz calls Jason and asks him to come to her studio. When he arrives, she asks him to paint the walls for her. He tells her that this is a bad time for him, so she explains her thinking. She says that there will never be a good time for them, so she wants to use whatever little pockets of time they can find. She says that she's responsible for other people too, but she needs to unwind. She offers a place to hang out together and time whenever they can manage it. Jason takes off his jacket and asks where he should start.
Maximus Casts a Long Shadow.
Jason shows up at Liz's art studio. She tells him that she almost tossed her plane tickets and then decided to keep them as her only memento of the trip they almost took together. Jason says how much he was looking forward to getting away with her, but now that Kate's been shot things are more chaotic than ever. Liz cuts to the chase and asks if he'll ever have time for her? Jason can't make any such promises, so Liz asks why he won't give the whole business back to Sonny? She points out that Jason didn't even want the business in the first place, and now Sonny's out for revenge. Jason says it would be cowardly to back out now and let Sonny go off on a rampage. He adds that he doesn't deserve to be happy anyway, and then leaves.
Jason Stands by his Decision.
Nik has brought Nadine into GH after her fall down the stairs. While she's being examined, Nik talks to Liz about how oddly Nadine is acting lately. He mentions the fact that she didn't even stay for breakfast 'the morning after' and explains that he was talking business with Alfred when she just got up and left! Suddenly Liz understands that Nadine must've felt unimportant after what was likely the most romantic night of her life. She suggests that Nik talk to Nadine, not her.
Sonny Gets An Offer. Can He Refuse?
Out at the nurses' desk, Nik runs into Liz and decides to ask her opinion on something. He explains that he finally stopped keeping Nadine at arm's length and they spent the night together. The odd part, he says, is that he just caught her kissing Spinelli and acting very casual. Liz explains that Nadine is probably just trying to protect her heart from falling for her prince.
