Sam is reminding the boys how much fun they had camping a few weeks ago as Liz drives to the cabin. Suddenly a tire blows and Liz goes off road. Both ladies admit that they thought it was a gunshot and are somewhat relieved as Sam changes the tire. When they finally reach the cabin, Sam tells Liz to get the boys settled in while she unloads the car.
Back at the cabin, Liz calls Jason to tell him that they have arrived. He's not happy to hear that Lucky didn't accompany them and says that he might move them to a safe house. After they hang up, Sam rushes inside and bolts the door. She says that the Russians are outside. Liz checks the phone but the lines have been cut and they have no cell reception. "We're definitely on our own," Sam warns.
Looks Like Sonny's Engaged. Again.
Lucky arrives at Liz's house thinking that Sam is there waiting for him. He explains that Sam called and told him to meet her there. Just then, Sam and Jason arrive and Jason quickly explains that Sam, Liz and the boys need to go hide out for a while. Then Lucky gets a call from the PCPD about the onset of a mob war. After he hangs up, he surmises that Jason is right about getting the women and children out of town. Lucky skips over his 'I'm a cop speech' and tells Jason that his safe house isn't going to be safe anymore and suggests a cabin that he knows about. He tells Jason to go do what he needs to do and he'll get them there. Liz runs upstairs to pack.
Liz's car is packed, but Lucky is called into the station. Liz assures him that she and Sam can get to the cabin on their own. He warns them both to sit tight and not get any big ideas about getting involved the drama. Sam promises that she's learned her lesson and Lucky rushes off. After Liz's SUV leaves the driveway, a Russian can be seen hiding in the bushes.
Sam...Spinelli...Look out!
Patrick is trying to look at charts at GH, but keeps asking Liz questions about formula and car seats. Epiphany tells him to either be a doctor or a new dad but if he's going to look at charts he should focus on the charts. Then Robin calls and admits that she can't get Emma to stop crying. Patrick rushes home to help out.
The Last Time He Did This He Shot His Foot.
Cody rushes off and leaves Jason alone with Liz on the waterfront. She is glad that he's okay, but he warns her that might not last for long. Liz tells him that she lost two patients today and is more aware than ever not to waste time. The cops rush in and Lucky isn't pleased to see her standing out in the open with Jason at the onset of a mob war! He reminds them that if the Russians get any inkling that she is involved with Jason then everything they've done to protect Jake is up in smoke! Jason agrees with Lucky and Liz says that she'll stay away from him. For now.
Lucky escorts Liz back to work and runs into Sam. He fills her in on the crime scene and promises to call her later. Liz tells Lucky that he doesn't get to police her and reminds him that he and Sam just had a run in with drugs, crime and guns, too.
Not Again!
Patrick is at GH pushing Robin's wheelchair as if he were transporting Faberge eggs. It's time for Robin and Emma to go home, but he's filled with worry about what the world will throw at them. Too many germs in the lobby and too many fumes in the parking garage are two examples of his concerns. Epiphany and Liz tell them to go get some rest, but Patrick quotes the baby manual about how long babies sleep. As they gingerly wheel into the elevator, Liz and Epiphany just shake their heads.
Back at the coffee house, Jason tells Cody that they're going to take the Russians out and no one will ever mess with them again! Just then Liz appears looking more angelic than ever.
A Great Place to Raise Your Kids?
Out at the nurses' desk, Liz is in a really foul mood even before Sam comes to clear the air. She assures Liz that rekindling her relationship with Jason is the last thing on her mind. She explains that she and Lucky are back on track and she wants to be able to maintain the peace with Liz. Elizabeth lets her guard down and says that she's just in a bad mood because things between her and Jason have been strained.
