Ric tells Andrea to let the lawsuit go through and if it is proven Garrett killed his mistress, so be it. Andrea, however, can't do that and won't be held back by a tawdry indiscretion.

Over the phone at Ric's place, Andrea tells Garrett she is in no mood to see him because his affair could ruin both their lives. After she berates her husband some more, Ric walks in and Andrea tells him their plan is going south. They talk about the mayor and his mistress. Ric thinks she should cut and run, but Andrea thinks she can contain it and she needs his help. Andrea tells Ric they have to get rid of this lawsuit and asks Ric to approach Brianna's family. He thinks they deserve an explanation and he does too.
Diane's Fun is Patrick's Misfortune.
Sonny is surprised by Claudia’s support of Carly and she tells him she still hates Carly, but her maternal instinct kicked in when she fell down the stairs and understands how worried she is about Michael. Claudia cares about Michael, but the most important thing right now is her baby. Sonny notes she’s sounding like a mother and then Ric comes in. Ric tells them after what happened to Michael there is no way in Hell he’s letting Sonny raise his child. Ric warns Sonny to get control of the Zacchara revolution before another kid gets shot.
Trust Your Instincts.
Sonny and Ric exchange words in Claudia’s room and Sonny orders him to get out. Ric leaves and Claudia asks if Sonny was just with Carly. She gets upset that he cares more about Carly and her baby then he does her. Sonny leaves to find Dr. Lee to give her something to calm her down.
Claudia talks to her baby as Ric reenters her room. They fight about him possibly being the father of her baby and Claudia says if he tells Sonny, she will miscarry and then he will have that on his conscience.
Sonny sees Ric leave Claudia’s room and asks his wife why Ric is so concerned about her and the baby. He asks if the baby is his and Claudia vows she has been faithful, but Sonny wants an amnio done to prove he is the father.
Keep Your Eye on the Prize.
Claudia calls Johnny and urges him to call her back to let her know if he found Michael. Ric comes to the room and wonders what she’s doing out of bed. She tries to blow him off, but he is concerned about the baby. As Claudia tries to leave, she doubles over in pain.
Claudia panics as Kelly examines her. After Kelly leaves the room, Claudia wants Ric to get out and he tells her to start acting like she wants this baby.
Sonny goes to his wife’s room and Claudia cries as she tells Sonny about her cramps and worries about losing the baby. Ric returns and Sonny wonders what he’s doing there and why he cares so much about the baby.
It Will Definitely Happen Again.
Claudia comes home and finds Ric waiting for her. She’s not in the mood for him, but he wants to try again with her for the sake of their baby. Claudia doesn’t think her life would be better with him and reminds him he tried to have Sonny kill her. Ric warns her if she doesn’t forgive him, he might have to tell Sonny the child could be his. Sonny walks in and Ric says he hopes they can all have a new start.
