After Jerry leaves, Alexis waits for Jax to come downstairs so they can talk. He's glad to see her. He says that he called her because he wants her to draw up papers for him to adopt both of the boys.
Bon Voyage Dr. Devlin?
Alexis and Kristina come into GH to see a pediatrician because Kristina bumped her head. Liz checks them in and when Kristina asks her mom if Daddy Ric can come, she offers to call him. Alexis agrees and comments that sometimes children just want a father around. A little later Ric shows up to be with Kristina. While she's having tests, Ric comments to Alexis about what a good place their relationship is in. She tells him not to ruin it by working with Anthony Zacchara and asks him to throw the case.
Diane Gives Spinelli a Pep Talk.
Alexis pays Sonny a visit and is shocked not to see any guards on his door. After it's clear he doesn't want to discuss it, they talk about Michael for a little while. Then she gets to the point of her visit. She wants Sonny to talk Ric out of working with Anthony Zacchara because legally he might end up a free man. Sonny tells her to go to Ric, but Alexis says that Sonny has more bargaining power. She says that Ric would listen to him because he has always wanted his big brother's attention.
Diane walks in and assumes that Alexis is talking to Sonny about letting Max see her. Sonny is offended that all she can think about is sex with his bodyguard when so much is going on in his life. She reminds him that Max is no longer his bodyguard and assures them that she can do her job without acting like a love-struck school girl. Alexis whispers to Diane that she's making a big mistake and Diane finally figures out that she is jealous. "A little," Alexis admits as Sonny looks on with disgust.
A Revolving Door at Dr. Devlin's.
Diane has called Alexis over to Sonny's office. When she arrives, Diane promptly tells her that she is to tell Sonny that her freak-out after their one-nighter wasn't common for all attorneys. Alexis is furious that Sonny talked about her with Diane. She says that for the record, she freaked out before she had a one-nighter. Then she asks Diane why she would talk to Sonny about such a thing and learns that he has forbidden Max and Diane from being together. As Diane's new best friend, Alexis wants her to use her as an example of what kind of men not to sleep with. What she doesn't know is that Ric has come in and heard her.
Alexis quickly tells him that it's girl talk that's all. He shakes it off and says that he's looking for Sonny to tell him that he is now Anthony Zacchara's lawyer. Alexis reminds him that his new client ran a sword through him at the B&W ball. Sonny comes in and asks if he called meeting? Ric tells him about his new arrangement with Anthony and Sonny quickly gathers that this has something to do with going after Trevor.
A Few Surprises Today.
Claudia is working the phones out at the Z mansion this morning. Johnny comes in the room, all smiles, and she teases him about where he was last night. Before he can answer, D.A. Davis is announced. Alexis steps into the room and tells them that Trevor's alibi for the night Michael was shot checks out. Claudia suggests that perhaps Trevor hired someone. Alexis says that maybe the two of them are the ones who might want Sonny dead. Claudia quickly turns the tables on Alexis and asks, as Sonny's ex-mistress, if she has an alibi? Alexis tells Claudia to be very careful and then leaves.
Before long, Diane arrives to congratulate Kate on her new space. One thing leads to another and soon Diane is the breathless owner of a fabulous new pair of designer shoes from Kate's sample pile. She asks Kate not to tell Alexis, but Alexis walks in! Kate motions for her to go select something and of course, she picks a $645 pair of shoes that Diane had her eye on. As only two top litigators can do, they briskly iron out a deal swap and on the count of three. Kate is annoyed with how childishly they are acting.
Several Get Lucky Tonight.
Diane arrives and makes a beeline for Max, but Alexis steps in her way. Diane tells her that she can either let her go or she'll grab her by the hairpiece and they can throw down. Alexis releases her grip and Diane joins Max at the roulette table. Jerry offers to take Alexis for a walk around the deck so she doesn't have to watch.
Diane and Max have taken a seat at a little bistro table in the corner. They can't keep their hands off each other and aren't worried because they think that Sonny has left. Nearby, Alexis drops a chip that she thinks is worth $5, but Jerry tells her it's $5000. She quickly ducks under a table to retrieve it and Jerry follows. Before long, they're making out too!
