At Carly's house, Alexis assures her she isn't involving herself in divorce proceedings, she's there as a friend. They debate what Jax did and Carly says she loves him, but doesn't know if she can forgive him. Alexis suggests she focus on Jax's finer qualities because they've had a wonderful marriage up till now.
It’s Not Gambling, It’s Love.
Carly calls Max and tells him she’s coming to get Michael. Before she leaves the house, Alexis comes over and asks her to let Jax come home. Carly asks if Jax went to her as a friend or custody attorney.
Consider it Handled.
Jax meets with Alexis in his office and tells her that Carly kicked him out of the house. Alexis begrudgingly sees Carly’s point and tells him any mother would have a problem with what he did. She wonders if there is more to the story and Jax says there are big secrets and if they ever come out Carly will never forgive him.
The Search Is On.
Alexis is unhappy with her girls for being where they shouldn’t have been that night when Sonny comes over for help finding Carly. Diane is in Philadelphia and he needs Alexis to get Jason out of jail. Alexis sends her girls out of the room and tells Sonny she thinks the police should take care of this, not Jason, who will probably kill Claudia. Sonny begs her to help get Carly and the baby out of this alive.
Alexis comes to the police station with Sonny to get Jason out. Mac won’t let Jason go because he will kill Claudia, but Alexis reminds him he can’t arrest someone on a crime they may or may not commit.
After Jason takes off, Alexis asks Sonny to wait to talk to Kristina until she comes to him.
Alexis comes home and tells Kristina she got Jason out of police custody. Kristina tells Alexis how awful she thought Sonny was tonight and thinks maybe she needed to see it. Alexis tries to explain Sonny to her and Kristina wonders if she is like him. Alexis only sees the good things about Sonny in her. She tells her Sonny wants to be a part of her life and no matter what she chooses to do, she has to remember that her father loves her.
The Wife He Deserves.
Mayor Floyd runs into Alexis at the party and apologizes for Andrea. She says they should call a truce and he asks her back as district attorney, but Alexis turns him down.
Claudia’s Time is Running Out.
Kiefer brings Kristina home and after she promises to find a way to meet him later, Alexis comes out and invites Kiefer in where he says all the right things. The three talk about colleges and Kiefer asks Alexis if he can take Kristina to a coffeehouse near one of the schools on Thursday. Alexis agrees, as Kristina looks worried.
The Recognition She Deserves.
Alexis talks to Jason about his investigation of Ian. She doesn’t want Sam to be an accessory to murder should Jason kill the person linked to Ian and urges him to leave Sam out of it.
