Luke and Ethan continue to discuss a DNA test, but Ethan says it’s time for him to move on. Luke encourages him to grab himself some adventure because there is a lot of world out there waiting patiently. Holly interrupts them and apologizes that things got out of hand. Luke says Ethan deserves the truth and asks if he is their child. Holly finally confesses that Ethan is Luke’s son.
Alexis watches as Holly and Luke are hauled into the police station. Tracy follows, saying Holly is guilty, but Luke is innocent. However, the cop says Luke was in the hotel room so he is an accomplice. Luke explains he was in her hotel room for information, not sex. Holly asks Alexis to talk to Mac because she's been framed, but Tracy accuses her of stealing one of her necklaces. Mac walks up to them and Holly is happy to see him. Mac tells her that no matter what trouble she is in, Robin will be thrilled to see her. Holly becomes nervous that Robin’s back, but is anxious to see her and asks Mac to help her get out because Tracy is just being jealous.
Luke is free to go, but Tracy won’t drop the charges against Holly. Mac tells Holly he could have been more helpful if he knew she was in town and suggests she work things out with Tracy. Mac will call Diane for representation and Holly is dragged off to the interrogation room.
Alexis goes to the Haunted Star and finds Luke with a bottle of booze. He still thinks Ethan is his son, or maybe he just wants him to be, but between Tracy and Holly he doesn't know which end is up. Alexis reminds him he never wanted kids in the first place, but Luke says things have changed. He recounts his facing death and all he sees ahead of him is limited possibilities and limited time. Maybe he just loves the idea of having a kid who likes him and looks up to him instead of down on him. He adds maybe he didn't realize he needs to have a kid who thinks he has something important to teach him.
Ethan comes to the Haunted Star, but doesn’t want to talk about Holly. He does tell Luke about his visit with Robin though and that he can’t possibly be Robert’s son.
Ethan tries to deal with the fact that Holly is his mother and gave him up. She promises him it wasn’t easy to give him away, but Ethan gets upset and sits down with a bottle of booze. Luke then angrily asks why Holly made him think Ethan was his son. Holly says she was bored and was looking for something in her past to revisit and he came to mind. Luke scoffs and wonders why she would tell them the truth now. Holly explains she just finally came to her senses.
Lulu comes to the Haunted Star as Ethan tells Holly he could have lived the rest of his life not knowing she and Robert were his parents. Lulu says, “So you’re not my brother?” Ethan tells her to ask Holly and leaves. Lulu thinks Luke must be disappointed, but Luke assures her it doesn’t change his high opinion of Ethan. Lulu runs off to help Ethan and Holly admits she made a mess of everything. Luke doesn’t think she has any idea what kind of damage she has done, but when the dust settles, she has herself "one Hell of a son.”
Luke pours Holly a drink and Holly feels bad over the situation. She recalls that she knew Ethan the moment she saw him as an adult and wanted to hold him close, but instead she pretended to be a stranger. She convinced herself it was up to fate after she gave Ethan the photo of him and Robert, but it was really just a way of not facing the fact that she was a coward. She cries and runs off.
An uncomfortable Ethan stands by as Tracy asks Luke if he is leaving her for Holly. Luke loves Tracy, but he doesn’t know what he will do next. Tracy tells Ethan both their futures hinge on what happened in Singapore all those years ago. Tracy warns Luke not to come back to her if he goes off with Holly. Ethan adamantly suggests Luke stick with Tracy instead of going off with a woman he can’t trust.
After Tracy leaves, Luke tells Ethan he has to play by Holly’s rules. They argue and Holly enters. She tells them the game isn’t fun anymore so she came to tell them the truth. Luke is suspicious, but Holly says she didn’t mean to hurt anyone and it’s time for full disclosure. She says she is Ethan’s mother, but Luke is not his father. Luke looks disappointed and Holly tells him he will have to settle for the kids he already has. Ethan demands to know who his father is and Holly tells him it’s Robert Scorpio.
