It's a Whole New World for Spinelli.

Rebecca shows up at The Haunted Star to talk to Luke about Nikolas. She says that she's been a royal witch to the guy because she didn't want to give him false hope, but maybe she should help him. Luke has an idea on how she can do that and help herself at the same time. He says that Nikolas has been frozen in grief for over a year now and the best thing for both of them would be to stay away from each other. Neither of them sees that Nikolas has shown up.

Is There Hope for Michael?

Luke returns to The Haunted Star and tells Ethan to start pouring scotch. The scene at the Quartermaine house with Rebecca has gotten under his skin, but not for the same reasons as everyone else. He starts talking about his first wife's son who showed up today and how much he used to hate the kid. As he pours down the shots, he says how strange it is to feel as if he should be giving the kid advice. Lulu shows up and gives Luke a lecture about drinking. Luke thinks that Lulu has a thing for Ethan, so he steps out for air. Lulu notices a wallet and accuses him of stealing it. She opens it up and sees that it's Robin's. She doesn't buy Ethan's story that she was drinking in the middle of the day and informs him that she's probably at home with her baby right this moment.

Luke meets Nik on the waterfront. He talks about not being able to 'hit rewind' and that it doesn't matter who Rebecca is - it only matters who she isn't. He talks about the heart, the soul and things going into the mist. Nik can't disagree, but says that his heart has woken up somehow and asks how he can walk away from that?

A Tender Kiss Goodbye.

"Lulu put down the phone. Ethan put down the money," Luke says as he enters The Haunted Star and finds Lulu calling Lucky at the PCPD. Luke introduces Ethan to his daughter and chastises him for handling the dough. Lulu is full of questions and Luke gives her a nutshell version of how he met his new bartender. He sums it up by saying that he'd rather that Ethan work for him than against him. Luke goes off to meet Tracy, leaving Lulu and Ethan alone. "What kind of scam are you working?" she asks.

Has There Ever Been a Worse Father?

Still at the jail north of town, Ethan admits that he took Tracy's money but says that he can't seem to help himself. He says ever since he was a child he gravitated to shiny things, or green in this case. Luke scoffs at his manipulation, but Tracy seems to melt at Ethan's sob story. Luke tells her that Mr. Lovett removed him of 'five large' within minutes of meeting him. Tracy tells Ethan that he doesn't owe Luke any money because as his wife she will forgive his debt. After Tracy leaves to post Luke's bail, Luke tells Ethan to find his own gravy train. After he's free, he pulls Tracy out of there leaving Ethan and his puppy dog eyes on his own.

Somehow Ethan ends up in the car with them anyway. Tracy offers him a job tending bar at The Haunted Star. They argue over salary and percentage of tips and guess who comes out on top? Ethan. Tracy insists that he'll be good for the place.

Anthony Comes Home to Boost his Bank Account.

Luke and Ethan are getting antsy from within their jail cell north of town. Tracy shows up and Ethan immediately starts to charm her. Luke, however, is persona non grata. She tells him everything that she and his kids went through at General Hospital, but Luke thinks she's kidding. Finally he shows fear as he realizes that she's telling the truth about the biotox and fire. Ethan defends Luke by saying that Luke couldn't stop talking about her. When the jailer returns, Tracy informs him that she will pay bail for Ethan only. Once Ethan's free, he gives Tracy a big hug. Through the bars, Luke grabs him by the collar and tells his wife to check her purse. It's empty, of course.

In Search of The Jackal.

Luke and Ethan are going stir crazy in a jail cell outside of town. Luke tells the guard to call Lucky Spencer at the PCPD right now! The guard doesn't cooperate no matter how much Luke demands his phone call. Luke and Ethan sit back down and Ethan is surprised to hear that Luke has a son who is a cop. Luke can't understand how his remarkable kid turned into an officer of the law. Ethan notes the disappointment in his voice and says that he'd probably be more proud if his son was a notorious outlaw. Luke agrees. He beams as he tells stories of little Lucky's time on the run as a kid. Ethan flatters Luke by saying that maybe Lucky had too much to live up to with a father like him. Luke just reminds him that he owes him $600. "Whattaya say you and me bust out of this flea-bitten dog kennel?" Luke finally asks.

Trevor Loses It.

Luke and Ethan are in jail playing rock, paper, scissors. Luke bores easily and tells Ethan to learn from the master. He calls for the guard and then schmoozes with him about his friendship with D.A. Davis. Then he offers free gambling at The Haunted Star but the guard mentions that his brother is the sheriff and then walks away. Next it's Ethan's turn. He gets the woman who turned him into the sheriff to come. He charms her and apologizes for the misunderstanding. When he calls her his girlfriend she runs to get the key. Luke is impressed. But it turns out that the girl is married to the guard and she's unable to pull through for them.

Jax Used Up One of his Lives.

Luke and Ethan's conversation at Jake's goes to Robert Scorpio. Luke points out that he was married to Holly Sutton for a while and Ethan asks a few questions about him. As they talk, a guy comes in with a gun and makes them put their hands in the air. His female companion says that these two guys took all of her money. Luke feigns a heart attack just long enough for Ethan to get the upper hand and whack the guy over the head. That's when they find out that they just knocked out the sheriff.
