Back at the Q mansion, Edward answers the door and is pleased to meet the acquaintance of Claudia Zacchara. She flirts with him until Alice butts in and then Tracy finds them all in the foyer. She pulls Claudia into the study and offers to buy her out of her interest in The Haunted Star. "I guess that's one way to get me out of Luke's lap," Claudia says. Tracy asks her to name her price and before she can answer, Luke shows up.
Agreements Are Made.
Monica thanks Alexis and Diane and then rushes out to say a few words to Sam before she leaves the court house. They have a kind exchange and then Nik catches up with Monica. She tells him how relieved, grateful and nervous she is and promises to follow through and live her life to make both Alan and Emily proud. Then she asks him to do the same. Finally, Tracy and Edward join her and say they weren't going to let her go to jail anyway. Edward gives Monica his arm and they escort her to rehab. Nik lingers in the courtroom for a few minutes and isn't all that surprised when Emily appears and thanks him for helping her mother.
Luke calls a woman and offers her a job. Tracy, returning from the courthouse, hears him on the phone and assumes he's calling a hooker. She hangs up the phone and tells him that she's done bankrolling all of his activities. He tells her that he is financially independent now because he has an investor in The Haunted Star. Tracy is not pleased.
Monica Faces the Music.
Alice is serving as Mr. Luke's personal trainer over at the Q house. Tracy tells Alice not to go easy on him and then announces that she's on her way to Monica's hit 'n run hearing.
Ric Chooses Sides.
Lulu is stuck in the middle of the Q foyer between Tracy and Luke. Edward comes out and sides with Tracy and Alice comes out and says that she and Cook and the rest of the staff are leaving if Mr. Luke isn't welcomed back home. Turns out that Luke has been playing cards with the entire staff on Thursday nights and Edward is upset that he has never been invited! Lulu asks Luke if he'll be okay because she has some errands to run and he assures her that he is with loved ones. When they are finally alone in the study, Luke promises Tracy that he's not been unfaithful for months. They trade barbs until finally she says he can stay - but at her mercy.
Claudia Can Dish It Out, But She Can Take It, Too!
Tracy shows up in Monica's hospital room at her request. Monica admits that she's a drunk and did indeed hit Sam McCall. She says that Tracy and Luke can move back into the house and she is going into rehab. Tracy is glad that her sister-in-law has finally come to her senses and says that she'll have their lawyers take care of the hit 'n run charges. Monica says that she intends on facing the consequences of her actions. Lulu shows up and Monica apologizes to her and says that she has missed her around the house and she is welcome to come home.
Claudia pays Luke a visit on The Haunted Star and asks if he's interested in a deal of "mutual exploitation." She wants Luke to get information on Sonny, such as how his organization is run and where he launders his money. Luke asks why he would help her. She tells him that things are about to change in town and an alliance with her will pay off in the long run. Luke is interested in the short run. "Pick a side Spencer, you're either with me or you're dead," Claudia purrs. She pours them both a drink and says they should have some fun since they aren't going into business together. As she tries to seduce him just enough to get him to change his mind, Tracy shows up. She assumes that Claudia is a street walker and Claudia plays along. After she leaves, Luke urges his wife to believe that he was just threatened by a mobster. Tracy tells him that he should go apologize. In fact, she suggests that they drink and smoke together until he croaks!
Lulu rushes over to the Haunted Star and tells Luke that Monica is letting them move back into the Quartermaine mansion! They gush over cook's food and Alice's pampering and even pour a little celebratory drink for a toast. When they arrive at the Q mansion, they are down-right giddy. Tracy greets them in the foyer. She tells Lulu that her room is ready and waiting, but Luke has to leave.
Claudia and Johnny Bond.
At the scene of the cannery explosion it's pure chaos. Trevor is hounding Marianna about whether or not she was able to get Ric to sign the waterfront property over to him yet. Alexis is watching them from a distance but is interrupted by Detective Harper who wants a count of who is still inside. She tells him that Claudia, Carly and Ric Lansing aren't accounted for, plus Sonny, Jax and Jerry went inside to look. Jax and Jerry come out and Alexis tells the cops to arrest them if they try to go back inside.
Kate Drops a Bomb.
Sonny finds Monica in the GH hallway and asks why Kate was released. Monica says she cannot discuss her patient's prognosis but adds that Kate released herself. "If she wanted you to know (where she was going), she would've contacted you!" Monica shouts. He leaves and Monica turns around to face yet another foe. Tracy! She wants Monica to let her back into the house and when Monica refuses, she produces the blouse that Monica was wearing the night Sam McCall was hit. Monica acts as if she never saw it before. Tracy tells her that she thinks Monica hit Sam McCall while drunk. The two women argue and ultimately chase each other into the elevator. When it's all said and done, the blouse is in two pieces.
