Luke is having a private poker game on The Haunted Star so that Sam can sit in and show her gambling prowess. As Sam rakes in the chips, Tracy shows up. She's upset to find Luke playing instead of working on his books and tells him that he is a waste of her energy. Luke pulls her aside and tells her that he's trying to meet her halfway and she tells him to get rid of the Zaccharas then. Detective Harper enters and tells them all that they are in violation of a court order.
Tracy is at the Metro Court having an ELQ business lunch. She's in a foul mood and sends her bean counter away. The second he leaves, Luke sits down and asks her if he can come home yet. She tells him that she likes him living on The Haunted Star and suggests that maybe Anna will come back for dunk acrobatics soon. He tells her that he loves her but she's too jealous to see it. She claims not to be jealous of an aging spy and says that she is done nagging him.
Anna and Luke are still partying it up on The Haunted Star. They have strewn some of their clothes about and are wishing there was a strippers' swing somewhere in the vicinity. They are able to rig one up and just as Anna starts to play on it, Robin, Patrick and Tracy show up. In spite of their scowls, Anna is thrilled to see them because how many grandmas do they know who can perform such moves, she asks. As she stretches to reach another shot from Luke, she pulls a muscle in her back. They get her off the swing and she agrees to go home and leave "Spence" behind. Luke slurs to Spanky Buns that she needs a ride on the "trying flapeze." Spanky doesn't think so.
Patrick goes home to Robin and tells her about Michael's prognosis. He says that he hoped to be wrong and it killed him to see the devastation in Sonny's eyes. He goes on to say that his idea of fatherhood used to be about dirty diapers and chaos, but now he's starting to see beyond all that. Robin tries to comfort him, but they are interrupted when Tracy barges in. She tells Robin that Anna is on The Haunted Star with Luke and asks which of them is going to put a stop to it?
On The Haunted Star, Tracy tells Luke that he is her favorite mistake and that she loves him too. However, hitching his wagon to the mob is more life threatening than three heart attacks and she begs Luke to sever his ties. Before he can react, Sonny shows up with some business to discuss. Tracy says that Sonny has perfect timing and now her husband can tell Sonny that they have no business. Luke turns to her and reminds her that he is his own man. Tracy leaves and Sonny tells Luke that she is right about warning Luke to stay away from the Zaccharas.
Tracy finds Luke doing paperwork on The Haunted Star. Surprisingly he's not too upset by being closed down because he likes the free publicity. Lucky shows up and says that with Anthony Zacchara likely to be released soon, it's a good time for Luke to leave town. After he leaves, Tracy suggests that Lucky might be right. Luke doesn't want to go anywhere (for a change!). As they talk, Sam comes in with a proposition for Luke. She wants to work for him as a professional player. She suggests that she can take a cut from the profits she brings in from the losers and Luke agrees to bring her on as soon as they open back up. After Sam leaves, Tracy is not happy with Luke's decisions lately and doesn’t hesitate to tell him so. He contends that she's just mad because he has his own money stream coming in and doesn’t need her bank account. Tracy asks why he keeps showing up at home then and Luke softens. He says, "You really don't know, do you? Tracy I love you."
The Haunted Star is hopping and Luke couldn't be more pleased. Tracy is by his side good-naturedly ribbing his enthusiasm. Nearby Claudia and Jerry are wondering why Ian showed up. Sam is spending some time with Alexis and the crowd notices when Sonny and Max show up. Luke greets Sonny and informs him that even though John Zacchara is coming, The Haunted Star is neutral territory. Sonny assures him that he's just there to gamble.
Tracy stops by The Haunted Star. She finds her husband on cloud nine and eagerly awaiting the sheep to fall into his fold. She reminds him of the doctor's orders and he assures her that he'll only drink and smoke in small amounts. She kisses him and tells him that she'll be ready to take him to the ER in that case. Johnny arrives and Tracy warns him that Lulu will be here tonight so if there's going to be any mob action, he should consider all involved. Johnny says that he is part owner and wouldn't do anything to disrupt the grand opening. He says that what Lulu does is none of his business, however.
"Since when do you serve tea to out-of-towners?" Luke asks Tracy as he walks into the Q study to find her with Claudia. Tracy confesses that she's trying to bribe Claudia out of his life and then reminds him that with the Zaccharas around others could end up like Michael! Lulu shows up and asks what's going on? Claudia rats on Tracy for trying to buy Johnny out of The Haunted Star. Lulu assures everyone that she told Sonny that Johnny had nothing to do with the shooting. Satisfied, Claudia leaves and Tracy tells Luke that Lulu will soon be mob road kill if he doesn't do something. Lulu and Luke argue over her choices and she storms out of the room.
Over the Q house, Edward is pacing while Tracy insists they don't call Monica and tell her about Michael. She agrees to call the hospital again, however, to see if there's any change in Michael. She sends Edward out to walk in the rose garden and promises to let him know what she finds out. The second he's gone Alan appears and tells Tracy that she's calling Claudia Zacchara instead. He tells Tracy to support Monica and Edward instead of worrying about what woman her husband is with.
