Friday, October 31 2008

At the hotel, the concierge realizes that the card Luke is trying to use is the same card as Scott's! He questions them and Luke says the card must have been stolen. He insists on Baldwin coming to the desk but the concierge says Scott is gone. Tracy says they'll use her card – but it has her real name. The concierge asks what is going on. Tracy takes off her disguise but the concierge won't let them use the card or register. Tracy says in Hollywood all kinds of people check in under false identities; Tracy says her husband is a drunk and a bigamist and she was looking for solace with Luke. Luke keeps talking in his German accent, saying he is best with scorned women. "Give me a key!" Tracy says. The concierge checks them in. Luke says this is their first lead – and they can find Laura from here! Luke sits down with Tracy and he tells her he wants her to play lookout while he searches Scott's room; Tracy tells him to rescue his damsel in distress on his own. Tracy says she can't bow out and watch their marriage disintegrate; Luke says she doesn't have to bow out. Tracy says this isn't going to end well.

I Do...Believe My Water Broke.

Thursday, October 30 2008

Tracy and Luke arrive at Shadybrook looking very unlike two people who just crash-landed a drug smuggling plane. A doctor recognizes Luke and tells them that they're doing all they can to find Mrs. Spencer. Luke corrects him by referring to Lulu, and the doctor clarifies that she's missing, too! Tracy threatens to slap the hospital with a lawsuit, but after a few strokes of his blackberry, Luke announces that they're going to LA. He explains that Baldwin probably took Laura to the place where they honeymooned!

Luke and Tracy are on the Quartermaine private jet en route to Los Angeles. Tracy thinks she's nuts for going on a romantic rescue adventure for Laura. She says that she doesn't share and asks Luke what he's going do now that Laura is awake? Luke says that he hasn't had time to process this yet and will deal with that after they get Laura away from Scott. She tells him that he has a decision to make, and Luke answers by saying that she is second to none.

As they head out the door of the lobby, they don't see the stately Dutch couple who are checking into the hotel. It's Luke and Tracy, of course, incognito!

Memory Lane Begins in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Luke has been able to steal a plane from a Mexican drug smuggler and Tracy hops on board just as he's about to take off. The takeoff is rocky, and once they're in the sky Tracy can't believe that he can fly a plane. Luke says that all he has to do now is manage the out-of-control-tin-can until it's time to do the same thing as landing, only in reverse! He claims that they are smelling like a rose now, only with a hint of tequila. Gravity wins quite a few battles, however, as they continue to dive for no apparent reason, and each time Tracy squeals like she's in a slasher film. Nonetheless, Luke tells her that she loves being with him because he gets her blood moving. Before Tracy can deny it, they realize that they are precariously low on fuel and start to dive yet again. Luke hands her the controls while he searches the cargo for parachutes, but all he finds are drugs. He decides that they need to glide the plan in, but they don't even know if they're over land or water! Luke yells, "Here we go," and they head downward.

Laura Leaves with Scott!

Friday, October 24 2008

Down in Mexico, Tracy draws the line at scraping her husband off the bar room floor. She tells him to sleep it off. Luke wants to hurry off to Port Charles to save Lulu and says that waiting for Edward is like waiting for the Easter bunny to come down the chimney. Tracy orders him to drink coffee and then asks what he's going to say to Lulu. After Luke gives his standard 'Spencers are strong' speech, she orders more tequila because he's more useful to Lulu as a drunk. Then she explains, once again, how important it is for him to come through for Lulu this time. She gives him some breath spray and orders him to clean up, and then notices that she missed a call from Lulu. When she looks back up from her phone, Luke is gone.

Laura Comes Alive!

Thursday, October 23 2008

Down in Mexico, Luke blames his current bender on the fact that Tracy bailed on him only one week into their first adventure together. Tracy explains that she simply grew tired of the pub crawl and left so he could be free. "I'll never be free of you. And that's the way I like it," Luke says as if the thought never occurred to her. He tells her that other women bore him and she is the most fun he's ever had. She finally decides to have a drink with him. Or ten. Soon she slurs her words as she reminds him how much her family hates him. That's when Luke suddenly realizes that Edward is never going to call because he's finally rid of them! He stands up so they can head for the border, but falls flat on his back.

Tequila Time!

Wednesday, October 22 2008

Tracy can't take Luke's snoring anymore, so she bangs a tray against the jail cell bars to wake him up. He has a massive headache, of course, but she reminds him that it's all his fault. Soon an attractive senorita comes and bails Luke out, leaving Tracy behind. Luke comes back as quickly as he can with bail for Tracy. He explains that he helped the woman out of a bad card game once and she owed him. Skeptical but glad to be free, Tracy leaves with him and heads over to the cantina to wait for word from Edward.

Here Comes a Different Bride?

Monday, October 20 2008

Tracy is somewhere in Mexico trying to explain to a police officer that the money she gave him was simply a tax, not a bribe. She inadvertently admits to forking over some dough to several officers today and is promptly handcuffed. When she begs Luke to do something, he takes a tequila shot and asks the officer to take his pain-in-the-butt wife off of his hands. He pours a shot glass for the cop and appeals to his sense of maleness with talk of how women ruin men's lives. Several shots later, the cop is drunk and Luke starts to talk about Tracy's good qualities. "She's the most fun I have ever had," Luke admits. The cop is completely enamored with Tracy at this point, so he uncuffs her and tells her to dance with her man. Luke starts to wrestle with him in order to try to slip away, and Tracy smashes a bottle over his head. They're not free for long, however, because another cop comes in and places them both under arrest.

Spinelli's Committed. Literally.

Friday, October 17 2008

A mariachi band plays in the cantina as a Mexican police officer lists all of Luke's most recent crimes. When Luke hears that disturbing the peace is among them, he says that the crickets are louder down there than he is! Tracy has had enough of her delinquent spouse and threatens to leave him in Mexico to rot, but she's worried about Lulu. Luke whispers that the cop just wants a bribe, so Tracy forks over the money. Luke is ready to head back to Port Charles, but Tracy wants to wait until they hear from Edward that his charges have been dropped. As they talk, another cop comes for Luke and Tracy pulls out more cash.
