Lulu goes to the hospital and asks Leyla if Johnny Zacchara has been brought in. Leyla checks, but tells her no. Then Tracy (with a fabulous new haircut!) finds her and tells her that Luke has taken off. Lulu feels bad that she wasn't around to try to talk him out of it. Tracy tells her that she needs to start sleeping at home by the way.
The hospital is a busy place. For starters, Tracy is furious when she finds that Luke has given her the slip. Logan shows up and makes up a story about where Lulu is. Tracy is more concerned that Lulu's father doesn't "keel over dead from a lap dance." In a nearby room, Mayor Floyd is getting his leg injury examined by Dr. Leo. Before long, Leo hears some ruckus in the hallway and steps out to see what's going on.
"You're a pig" Tracy spits at Coleman when he suggests that they take a roll in the hay for old time's sake. She has come to Jake's looking for Luke and isn't in the mood for his sliminess. She proceeds to sit down and get drunk. Across the room, Jax arrives to meet with Jerry. He wants to know what the big deal that he's working on is about. Jerry won't talk. Jax says that he and Carly are having a hard time and most of it has to do with Jason, Sonny and the craziness that goes with it. He says that he wants to stop worrying about Jerry and focus on his wife. Jerry tells Jax to take a trip, and then leaves. Jax sees that Coleman is getting fresh with Tracy and goes to her rescue. She promptly passes out and he sits with her for a while.
Cassius serves Luke his last hospital meal and they talk about his release today. He tells Cassius that his home is the highway, but Tracy shows up and tells him that his home is the Quartermaine mansion. She proceeds to tell him that he'll exist on no booze, no sex, three servings of fruit and YOGA until the doctor says otherwise. Luke says that he's in hell and is happy to see that Skye has come to rescue him.
Luke has somehow managed to dress like a janitor and slip into the hospital elevators undetected. But that's as far as he got because Tracy found the janitor he bribed for his uniform. When Lucky shows up (at Tracy's request) she wants to have Luke arrested for sneaking contraband (the cigars) into a sterile environment. Lucky asks Luke not to give Tracy any more problems and he promises to be the drooling, old man that everyone wants him to be. However, Luke reminds Lucky that when he was comatose, he gave him the dignity of unplugging the machines.
Luke finds that while the GH staff is working on his code blue - his soul is in Purgatory. He plays the role of the judge, as well as the defense AND prosecuting attorneys! The first witness is Alexis, who admits that Luke asked her to help him kill Helena and didn't show any remorse. The next witness is Carly, who tells the court that he blackmailed her not to come forward and admit that she is Bobbie's daughter. Edward is next and his biggest beef is that Luke got Tracy drunk and duped her into marrying him. Mac comes to the stand and tells the court that Luke slept with Felicia while he was married to Laura. Blaze is next and she sheepishly admits that she had sexual relations with Luke while he was married to Tracy. Guess who's next? Tracy - who has volunteered to testify against her own husband. She says that he poisoned her martini once among other things. Nikolas enters his comments about Luke referring to him "the Spawn" and Leslie Webber reports that Luke constantly put her daughter in danger. Scott says that Luke stole his wife and even raped her.
At the hospital, Luke's code blue crisis seems to be over, but he is still out. Dr. Leo tells Tracy and Lulu that Luke may have sustained some damage to the valves that they just replaced. Tracy is livid. Just then, the judge declares that Luke is not guilty and he wakes up in his bed. He thanks Tracy for defending him and she tells him that she is going to kill him herself.
Luke is incredibly frustrated in his room. But not for long because his Cuban cigar dealer arrives and improves his demeanor greatly. Tracy arrives soon after and the two men suddenly start talking about the NY Knicks. Luke quickly explains that his friend used to play the steel drums at his blues club. Before Tracy can shoot holes in the story, Lulu and Lucky arrive. They tell him that he's looking a little better, so he must be up to no good. He promises that he won't do anything to undermine his recovery, but Tracy looks suspicious.
While Luke is out having tests, Tracy ransacks his room looking for something but she's not sure what. When he returns, he laughs and says he'll help her find whatever it is. She says that if he isn't cheating, he's not breathing, so what did his buddy bring him? Luke denies having any contraband and Spanky admits that she just wants to grow old with him, that's all. They exchange "I love yous" and then she leaves him to nap. The second she's gone, he lights up his cigar. And the second after that, he's gasping for air.
Luke wakes up to find Tracy asleep next to him. He asks if he should wish her a Merry Christmas and she tells him he slept through it this year. She tells him that his surgery was a success and his blood is flowing nicely. Luke wants to test it, but Tracy says they won't be doing that any time soon.
