Tracey Is Committed!

At Shady Brook, Tracey exchanges barbs with her nurse, telling her to let her out or else! The nurse releases Tracey from the strait jacket. Tracey offers her money to get Edward trussed up in a jacket. Alan appears, talking to Tracey who tries to ignore him. "FYI, I was only pretending to see my brother to manipulate my family," Tracey tells her but the nurse obviously doesn’t believe her. When they are alone, Alan tells Tracey to relax. She tells him that he can haunt her forever but he won't make her crack! "We'll see about that," he says. They argue, neither admitting to anything. Dillon rushes in, worried about Tracey and relieved to see that she is okay. He promises to get Tracey out and she suggests that he blackmail Edward to do it! Dillon leaves. Alan tells Tracey that Dillon won't be able to put anything over on Edward. From outside, Edward watches Tracey argue with Alan. He heads to the nurses station, asking them to take good care of Tracey. "Tracy may need to be here indefinitely," he says.

Did Sam Do It?

Tracy is sipping coffee at home, and Alan tells her that she should be calling her lawyer before Scott Baldwin gets her thrown in jail for helping Luke to steal Laura. As Tracy and Alan argue, Edward is watching from the terrace - only he's not alone. He has called Lainey over to the house to observe Tracy's delusional behavior. Inside, Alan warns Tracy to stop focusing in Luke's problems and keep her eye on Edward. He tells her that Edward is watching her like a fox and Tracy thinks that Alan is lying.

Sam's World is Closing In.

As Monica is laying down the law about having a productive summer to Lulu, Alan warns Tracy to stop staring at him because Edward is starting to notice. Then Alice escorts Scott and a police officer into the study. He says that they have come to arrest Tracy for aiding in the disappearance of Laura Spencer. Edward insists on a warrant but as soon as he sees it, it tells the cop to "get it done" and then asks Alice about dessert. Tracy says that when she went into Laura's room, Laura was already gone so she tried on the wig and clothes just for fun. Scott insists that Tracy tell him where Luke took Laura or else she'll go to jail. Tracy says that she doesn't know and then she's promptly carted off to the PCPD. Exasperated, Lulu asks Edward and Monica why no one is going to help her!

Tracy goes into the Q study with both barrels loaded. She asks why Lulu is the only person who was willing to bail her out. Monica says that Lulu wanted to -- for some strange reason. Tracy says that she is the CEO of ELQ and if she's in jail it'll hurt everyone. Alan continues to chat with Tracy and she banters back oblivious to the fact that Monica and Edward think she's nuts. After Tracy leaves to take a bath Monica stares at Alan's chair and asks Edward if it's remotely possible that Alan is still around. Edward tells her that it's nonsense and then she wistfully goes upstairs. As soon as he's alone, Edward calls a judge and says that he wants to talk about his daughter.

Motherhood.

Luke and Tracy inform Lulu that they found where Scott has moved Laura - to Rose Lawn. They say that Laura is about to disappear and she won't return until she is safe from Scott. Lulu insists on going with her dad on the trip to wherever he's taking her. Tracy says that they are going to break court orders and they don't want her anywhere near the trouble. Lulu backs off, but asks to see Laura one more time before Luke takes her. Luke tells her to get her brothers and wait for him at Lucky's house. Lulu takes off. Alan comes into the room and Luke senses it, so he demands that Tracy focus. Tracy tries, but Alan is bantering on about how Luke will take off with Laura and not return.

Sonny's Got His Hands Full!

At home, Tracy talks to Alan, who is sympathetic to her predicament. He talks about the love between Luke and Laura but Tracy disagrees. She is beginning to think that Luke only feels pity for Laura! Luke arrives and she asks him not to follow through with whatever he is planning against Scott! He tells her he is going to kidnap Laura, to protect her from Scott. Alan tells Tracy it's a bad idea for her to back up the plan. Luke begins planning the kidnapping and Tracy wonders how long he'll be gone. He promises to come back to her. Tracy wants to believe him but isn't sure she can. Luke takes her in his arms, telling her that he loves her. "I give you my word, I will always come back to you," he says and kisses her passionately.

Laura's Custody Hearing Begins.

Luke is dressed and ready for today's custody hearing. Tracy approves of his clear eyes and nice suit, but Alan keeps hounding Tracy to speak to Lulu beforehand. Finally, Tracy asks Luke if she can talk to Lulu to prevent her from "finding out." Just then, Lulu walks into the room and asks what she's going to find out? Luke stands up and says that it will get ugly in the courtroom and he doesn't want her to be there. Lulu says that the whole family needs there to make sure that Scott Baldwin doesn't win. Tracy and Luke contend that Scott will drag up old ugly things that she shouldn't have to hear. Lulu tells Tracy that this is a Spencer family matter. Just then, Monica and Edward come into the room and offer their two-cents worth. They gently tell Lulu that they think it would be too hard for her to go today.

Jax Faces the Music.

Alan is sitting in "his" chair listening to Tracy make fun of his jogging suit. Alan says that it's comfy and anyway, she should be concentrating on her husband and how far he'll go to win guardianship of Laura. Tracy tells her brother that she'll defend her husband no matter what, and Luke comes in and thanks her. He says that he has a secret weapon against Scott and what he may try to bring out in court - Alexis Davis. Tracy doesn’t see how Alexis is going to be enough, but Luke assures her that "Natasha" is on top of her game again. Luke is expecting Alexis any minute to take his deposition, but Scott walks into the study instead. Alan creates a huge clap of thunder and bolt of lightening and Scott drops his papers!

Luke, Tracy and Scott are arguing over who should have guardianship of Laura. Scott contends that he will win in court, but he's willing to make a deal. If Luke signs her over willingly, he promises to keep Laura nearby so that her children can continue to visit her and Lulu will never hear all of their sordid history. Luke reaches for the papers as if he's going to sign then, but he punches Scott in the face instead. Scott says that Luke will really pay for attacking him. Tracy says that Luke didn't attack anyone, and it's three against one. "Three?" Scott says and Alan makes an even bigger storm appear. Scott leaves in a huff. Tracy tells Luke that there's only one way to stop Scott.

It All Hits the Fan.

Luke is drinking alone - or so he thinks - in the Q study. When Tracy walks in, Alan tells her that Luke needs to keep a clear head for his upcoming custodial trial with Scott. Tracy turns around and takes the drink from Luke's hands. Luke speaks his displeasure to the empty chair and then plops down. Alan tells Tracy that Luke really loves Laura and one day he'll lose it and be gone. Tracy's face signals the sadness that Alan has reminded her of, so Luke asks her if Alan struck a nerve. Tracy comes clean and admits that she worries about losing him one day. As he pours another drink, Alexis arrives to go over his testimony. She starts to sit in "Alan's" chair and they shriek at her not to sit there. They come right out and admit that Alan is haunting Tracy. Alexis says that they shouldn't mention that little tidbit in the courtroom. Just as they get back to work, Jax comes into the room and says that he needs Alexis' help with his brother Jerry. Alexis and Jax go outside on the terrace to speak privately.
