Miss McCall's Revenge.

Ric wakes up and Trevor tells him to rest. Ric can't believe that his father is next to him and thinks he's delirious. Trevor thanks Robin for her efforts on his son and she says after hearing all that she's heard tonight, "You can choke on your appreciation Mr. Lansing." Skye tells Ric that Sonny gave blood and that's why he's still alive. Ric doesn't get why Sonny would help, and Skye says that his father tracked him down and wouldn't take no for an answer. Johnny comes into the room looking for Trevor and says that he knows what he has to do! Then, he sees Leyla and says, "Oh God." Turns out that Leyla looks just like his mother.

Sonny Gives In.

The transfusion is still going on as Trevor, Leyla, Patrick, Robin and Skye watch nervously. Sonny reaches up and holds Kate's hand. He tells her that he doesn't give a damn about his brother…he did this for her.

The Dastardly DA doesn't seem so Dastardly.

"Did you come to watch me die?" Ric asks Trevor as he shows up just in time for his operation. Patrick tells Trevor what type of blood Ric needs. Trevor says that he isn't a match, but offers to go to the ballroom and find a donor. Before he leaves, he bends over and says to his son, "Fight Richie, fight." Alexis is clearly in pain, but assures Skye that she can wait.

Now THIS is is an Everyday Hero.

Ric is slurring his words as he talks to the people by his side. Alexis takes Leyla's place and starts putting pressure on the wound. She is getting really worried as she watches him fade. He tells her that he wants Molly to grow up strong like her mother. He says if he doesn't live through this, he wants to apologize. Finally, Alexis says. "I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for all the ways that I failed you. I wanted to be good to you, I wanted to be good for you…I intended to be. If I had it to do all over again, differently, better, kinder, I would have," Ric says as Skye looks on. "Me too," says Alexis. Nearby, Patrick whispers to Robin that Ric has lost so much blood that his organs are shutting down. Robin asks what they can use around the house to do a "patch up" operation.

As Patrick is ready to start operating on Ric, Alexis and Skye hang back. Alexis tells Skye to go sit with him so he can see her face. Skye tells her that Ric will want to see the mother of his daughter. Alexis gives in and positions herself next to Ric.

Liz and the Ice Pick.

Leyla and Skye are among the crowd that is tending to Ric. Alexis is putting pressure on the wound and encouraging him to drink brandy. She tells him that Molly is at home and she's safe. Ric says that he doesn't want her to be afraid. Trevor rushes in and Patrick tells him that if they don't move Ric soon, he'll be too weak, and the launch isn't working! Trevor tries to rush out of the room, but Alexis asks if he's leaving his son? Trevor explains that nothing else can be done for Ric, but there's a monster loose and he has to get to Kate. Alexis smacks him hard across the face and calls him a selfish bastard. She tells him that he has failed his son in every possible way and doesn't have the decency to sit by him for five minutes. She is chilling as she says, "Ric is worth a thousand of you." Trevor quietly takes it all in and then leaves. Ric quietly says, "I thought you didn't like me."

There's a Monster Lurking.

In the foyer, Trevor urges Johnny to go home, but he says that his father won't go anywhere else until he has killed Lulu. Johnny leaves and Ric approaches. Father and son verbally spar for a few minutes. Ric asks how Johnny Z got invited and Trevor says that he has a thing for Lulu Spencer. Trevor explains that Johnny's mother died and that's why he looks after Johnny. Ric states that the loss of a mother is indeed a hardship for a boy. He says that karma's rough and it's funny to him that it's Trevor's job to look after him. Ric fishes for information about the two guys who ended up dead the other day and just as the conversation is getting heated, Skye finds him and says "Once upon a time I had a date." Ric tells her that she still does, and leaves Trevor on his own.

Skye dances with Jerry and wants to know why he asked her. He says that "the drape of her dress" is nice, but he really wants to know about her waterfront property. Before their conversation goes any further, Jax cuts in and Jerry graciously hands Skye over. As they dance, Jax asks Skye what Jerry is up to and Skye admits that her dance card is full because of her newly acquired waterfront property.

And So It Begins.

Alexis is waiting for the launch when Jerry approaches her with compliments about how good she looks. She tells him not to even think about showing up at the ball. He says that a storm is brewing and he intends on making sure that the people he cares about are safe. And, if she's lucky, she might get to dance with him. Ric and Skye approach the launch and Jerry simply says, "The wind is shifting, this night could get a little messy."

In the mansion's foyer, Alfred is greeting guests. He tells Alexis that her date isn't on the list ands he scowls at Jerry's arm around her waist. "Somehow that doesn't seem to bother him," she says. When Skye and Ric arrive, she asks Alfred if Monica and Edward have arrived yet and learns neither will be able to attend.
