The Holiday Pageant is perfect. Except for the ending.

CHRISTMAS MUSIC PLAYS UNDERNEATH THE FOLLOWING SCENES:

At GH, Robin and Patrick are kissing under the mistletoe, Epiphany sees them and smiles. Skye walks away from Edward toward Lorenzo. She tells him something and he smiles over to the Quartermaine family. Alexis is holding Molly as Ric hugs her goodbye. Lulu is admiring her mother's ring and looking at the angle on the Christmas tree. Out on the waterfront, Jason and Elizabeth hug as they carry the toy.

Sonny's heart is breaking.

Lorenzo meets Skye at the Metro Court and she tells him that it’s all over the news that the charges have been dropped against Jason. She wants to know if Lorenzo is happy with the way things turned out. “Aside from a couple deaths, things couldn’t have gone better,” he says. Then he reminds Skye that revenge is best served cold. After everything calms down, he’ll avenge Diego’s death.

Spinelli proves to be worth the trouble.

Skye goes to Sonny to tell him that Lulu is safe now. She can go home without fearing for her life. She explains that she and her baby have moved in with Lorenzo in order to protect Lulu. Sonny expresses concern for Skye’s safety, as well as her baby’s. Skye tells him that Lorenzo wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize his relationship with their baby.

Skye admits to Lorenzo that she went to Sonny. Lorenzo says that’s okay. He tells her that Lulu and Jason are back, but he’s decided not to do anything about it. She wants to know why he seems to be playing things so differently. He tells her for someone who didn’t want to know anything about his business, she’s certainly curious. But then he tells her that Ric has become demanding and unpredictable. Lorenzo tells Skye that he doesn’t like that in an associate. So, he’s decided to allow Spinelli and Jason turn themselves in. That way, things will start to get uncomfortable for Ric.

A delivery guy brings a package to Lorenzo’s house. As Lorenzo opens it up to see the flash drive from Ric’s office, Skye asks what it is. Lorenzo opening explains that he and Ric have been working together to try to bring down the Corinthos organization. He explains that the flash drive is proof that our DA is corrupt. He intends to hang onto it for leverage. Then, he plays a tape that he made earlier to day in his conversation with Ric. On it, Ric admits to setting Sam up. Skye slyly smiles and tells Lorenzo that if he has to be in this business, he might as well be the best at it. He’s glad to have her praise and tells her that he’s just getting started.

Ric has a confession to make. Literally.

Skye is putting gifts under the tree while Lorenzo finishes up a phone call “Call me when it's done” he says before he hangs up. Then they talk about all the toys that Santa is going to bring for Lila Rae this year. Lorenzo takes Skye upstairs to see what he's already picked out. After they've left the room, we see that the gift Skye was just tying a bow on is smoking because she left it too close to the fireplace.

Skye comes back into the family room to see that the gift has gone up in flames. Lucky had been watching them from through the window and came in to douse the fire. Lorenzo says it’s fortunate that Detective Spencer just happened to be outside. Lucky says that he needs to ask a few questions about Jason, but Lorenzo says it’s not a good time.

Skye is upset that the package that burnt was a surprise for Lorenzo. He tells her that it’s the thought that counts. She tells him that she thinks of him a lot, but doesn’t know what to do with her feelings. Then she walks upstairs. Lorenzo has a little box for her, but hides it. The phone rings and Lorenzo learns that Jason has gotten away, for now. Lorenzo says to just let Jason come back to Port Charles on his own. He wants Jason and Spinelli to cause some problems for Ric for a while.

There's some strange behavior going on.

Skye and the baby surprise Lorenzo by moving in. His expression revealed how excited he is about them moving in. Lorenzo is ready for them; he has decorated a lovely room for Skye and hired a nanny. She reminds Lorenzo that if anything happens to Lulu, they are out of there.

Edward storms into Lorenzo's house demanding that Skye and Lila Rae move back home and away from the mobster. Edward tells Skye that the family will protect her. Lorenzo says that he won't take them away, and Edward punches him in the face! Skye tells Edward that she's there because she wants to be. She's not happy with Lorenzo's career choice, but she knows he'll make a good life for them. Edward scoffs and leaves.
