From Bad to Worse.

At the hospital, Skye is holding Lorenzo's hand and talking to him as he starts to come out of it. He is confused, but asks Skye where he is. Skye tells him that he is at the hospital and just had surgery to remove the bullet. "Who shot me?" "Sonny." "I don't like him, do I?" Jason comes running in and asks him for the code to he briefcase. Skye tries to help by reminding him about the shipment and Mr. Craig. Lorenzo says that his brother Luis handles all the shipments. Skye tells him that Luis is dead. Lorenzo is saddened to hear that. No matter how many times Jason and Skye say, "7…6…7…" Lorenzo simply cannot tell them the last three numbers.

Mac Gets the Worst News.

A scene at the hospital is equally tense: Lorenzo went into code blue and was rushed into surgery. Noah and Patrick are operating on him and Noah disagrees with the way Patrick wants to remove the new shrapnel that he found. Back in the room, Skye is freaking out trying to figure out how to get the rest of the code so that she can reset the bomb within the time frame Lorenzo gave her. Jason comes rushing into the room and demands to know everything that Skye can tell him about what's in the briefcase. He explains that the whole Quartermaine family is at risk. Skye finally decides to cooperate and tells Jason all that she knows.

At the hospital, Jason is trying to get information from Skye when Patrick enters the room. He explains that the surgery isn't over and as soon as some tests come back, he needs to go back in and remove more shrapnel. Jason tells him to wake Lorenzo up so they can get the code. Patrick won't hear of it, but listens as Jason explains what is going on at the Metro Court. Just then, his cell phone rings. It's Spinelli calling to say that Robin Scorpio has been shot, and Carly and Sonny are trapped inside.

Nice Teamwork.

Since Lorenzo was having dizzy spells on his way to the fundraiser, he and Skye have driven to the hospital instead. Patrick tells him that he has a brain bleed and that his business meeting will have to wait. Skye is able to talk him into having tests and they talk as they wait for the results. She assures him that as soon as the business transaction is over, they will have a wonderful life together. Lorenzo gets a little weepy as he realizes how fortunate he is to have her in his life. They are kissing when Patrick comes in with results. He needs to operate right away because blood is leaking into his brain. He will have a grand mal seizure and die if he puts it off.

At the hospital, Lorenzo has decided that he has to have the surgery, and Skye must take care of the delivery. He's starting to tremble as he gives her the instructions. If the code isn't reset every 24 hours, it will implode…She is to reset the code in the morning before she meets Mr. Craig…Then, she is to hand it to him in exchange for a check that she will wire transfer….the code is….7….6….7….before he can finish the code, Lorenzo goes into a grand mal seizure.

And So It Begins.

Lorenzo is driving to the fundraiser with Skye. As he's talking, he tells her that his head is spinning.

Explosive Situations

Sky has met Lorenzoat the Metro Court. Lorenzo tells her that all he has to do now is make sure that he follows his orders implicitly. They put a plan to action. They tell an employee that they'd check on their briefcase that's stored in the vault. Once the guy has brought it to the front desk, Skye starts with her cover story…she's begging Lorenzo for a teeny peak at her Valentine's present. Lorenzo pulls the man-to-man stuff and asks the employee to block her view. While is back is turned, Lorenzo does something to the combination and then says he's finished. The worker takes it back to the vault. Over in the corner of the room we see Mr. Craig on the phone. He says, "If he doesn't hand over the shipment, we'll have to take it."

UnLucky in Love.

Skye and Lorenzo are talking from his hospital room. He tells her that until now, he's been happy enough to collect money to do his work and let things fall where they may. He tells her that she came along "all fire and ice" and jumpstarted his heart. He tells her that he is falling in love with her. He promises that this risky shipment is his ticket out. He prepares her by saying s soon as the double secret phone rings, he has to take shipment.

Lorenzo ends his phone call and tells Skye that he absolutely has to receive the shipment tonight. She's worried sick that he's not strong enough. She insists that she's coming along as backup. He tells her that he loves it when she's fearless and says he knows very little about what they're supposed to be getting. He says, "All I know is that it's small enough to fit in a briefcase and big enough to destroy us all."

Skye and a very stiff Lorenzo walk into the Metro Court. Max is reading the newspaper and they think that he's there to intercept the shipment for Sonny. They act like they believe his story about not working for Sonny anymore and walk away. Skye offers to distract while Lorenzo takes possession of the shipment. Soon, the mystery guy arrives and Skye snaps into action. She blocks Max's view of Lorenzo and prattles on about a secret valentine's present. Max says he'll never understand women, but seems pleased to be in her company. The next thing we see is Lorenzo asking Mr. Morton at the front desk if he can put his silver briefcase in the vault. As he's filling out the proper forms, Sam follows Mr. Morton's orders and delivers the briefcase to the vault.
