Outside Alan's hospital room, Monica worries about his health. She tells Nikolas that one more attack could kill him! Tracy comes by, wanting to go inside but Monica heads her off. Tracy tells her not to worry. "I want him alive as much as you do," she says. Skye arrives, wanting to see Alan and both women turn on her. "How dare you show your face," Monica says. Inside, Alan asks Emily where Jason is. She tries to distract him with stories of her childhood and tells Alan he is her hero. Emily hears the raised voices outside and goes to check on things. Skye tries to defend herself, telling them she had no idea what was going on in the hotel. Monica and Tracy storm off, telling Skye to stay away from Alan. Emotional, Skye watches through the glass and asks Emily if she can go in. Without the other women there, Emily okays the visit. Nikolas returns, telling Emily that Jason and Liz have been found and are okay. She goes inside to hear Skye confessing her involvement to Alan. "I never meant to hurt you, Alan," she says. He tells her she isn't at fault and forgives her.
In another room, Sonny and Mr. Craig recover from the newly fallen rubble at the same time. Pointing guns at one another, they are at a standoff. "Give me the briefcase and it will all be over," Mr. Craig says! Sonny holds Carly close to him; she still has the case. More rubble falls, pushing Mr. Craig down. Carly wants to help him, but Sonny tells her no - they have to get out!
Outside, Sam brings a blanket to Alexis and tries to get her to go home but she won't leave. Ric tries to convince her, too, but Alexis won't listen. "Why don't you go help somebody else?" she asks. Sam tries to calm them both down as Sonny and Carly come outside. Alexis gives her blanket to Carly as Sam asks about Jason. She worries when she hears that he hasn't been seen yet. Sonny describes the hostage takers to Ric and Alexis as Skye eavesdrops. Worried, Skye watches him turn the briefcase over to Ric! They tell Ric the code, but before he can use their code, Skye tells them they are wrong - and gives them a code from Alcazar! Ric isn't sure if he should believe Sonny or Skye but eventually sides with Skye. Sonny can't believe that his brother is siding with Alcazar and leaves. Ric tries Skye's code and the case opens - but the information inside is destroyed!
Skye arrives at the hotel, awed at the destruction. She talks to Ric who recounts to her who has gotten out so far. "What about Mr. Craig?" she asks.
Lorenzo can't bring himself to answer his double secret cell phone. Skye tells him that this is no time to be insecure; all of their lives are on the line. He shores himself up and sounds a little like his old self as he answers it. He assures his contact that everything is going as planned and hangs up. Skye wrestles with her conscience. On one hand, she wants Craig to get caught and pay for what he's done to everyone. One the other, her new little family has a chance if Craig gets way with the shipment. Lorenzo tells her that in order for Craig to get away, the hostages would all have to die.
At the hospital, Patrick has completed his surgery and is leaving for the Metro Court even though he is still on call. In Lorenzo's room, Skye is drilling him to try to recall the code. He can't remember a thing. His double secret cell phone rings and Skye forbids him to answer it. She tells him that his contact is calling to make sure the shipment will be delivered in a few hours as planned. From the hallway, Ric has heard everything. He comes in Lorenzo's room and says that he agrees that they shouldn't answer. He and Skye go back to the hall to talk. Ric says that whoever is waiting for this shipment will probably want to cut all ties with Lorenzo even if that means killing everyone involved. Ric leaves and she goes back to Lorenzo's bedside. She tells him that Ric thinks she should take Lila and run before his associates come after them. He asks her not to leave him now. The phone rings again and this time, she tells him to answer it and assure them that the exchange will take place as planned.
"3 hours. 2 a.m."
As Craig taunts Luke with Lulu's life, inside Nikolas yells to Luke that he should give up the code. Luke tries to reason with him, but Craig cocks the gun and Lulu screams. Luke panics and yells, "767…285 that's the code what will allow you to reset the briefcase." Behind him, Skye tells Ric and Mac that Luke made the last three numbers up.
Outside, Luke tells Ric and Mac that Craig won't know he has a bogus code until the vault opens. Nobody's pleased with Luke's reckless police work, and Mac tells Luke to let them handle things from now on. Then he puts his team on trying to come up with the right code. Skye finds Luke and he tells her that he should've let her handle the bluff. After all, she's cold enough to let all those people go into the Metro Court when she knew what Lorenzo had going on there, she could've bluffed better. Skye tries to explain how it happened, but Luke tells her that she's not the person he thought she was. As she's crying, Dillon comes back to report that Alan is still in surgery.
At the hospital, Skye massages Lorenzo's shoulders and tries to get him to relax and remember the code. He just plain can't remember it. Epiphany comes in and tells her that Alan has been released from the Metro Court because he's had a heart attack. Skye runs out of the room.
At the Q's, Tracey, Alice, Edward and Dillon see that the hostage that has been released is Alan and he looks wounded. They all head to the hospital and are waiting in the GH lobby when he is brought in. Edward whispers in his son's ear that there is only room for one heart patient in this family. Skye tries to say something to Alan, but Monica calls her a bitch and tells her to get away from her husband. Then she explains to Edward and Tracy that if it weren't for Lorenzo Alcazar they would all be safe at home right now. Edward asks Skye if it's true but she runs off.
Mac, Ric and Luke are out front of the Metro Court arguing about how to go forward. Ric is livid that Lucky and Luke pulled their own rescue attempt. He says that while the helicopter was dropping them off, Craig called him and he could hear Liz whimpering as he jammed a gun in her side. Lucky may have just killed his own baby, he accuses. Luke is fed up with the cops and walks away. He sees that Skye has just arrived at the scene. She tells Luke that the ringleader's name is James Craig. Luke bets that he doesn't know that the briefcase is wired to explode. He decides to offer Craig the code – even if he has to lie about the last three numbers.
