Lorenzo and Skye are at the hospital for tests. He's concerned about how weak he is, and Skye assures him that she's taking care of everything. As soon as Lorenzo heads down the hallway alone, he takes a call and assures the person on the phone that "No one will suspect a thing."
Sonny has his boys on the waterfront, pointing out the boats that are bringing in his coffee. Michael proudly explains to his dad what a spinnaker is, something he learned from Jax. Skye, Lorenzo and Lila are out for a walk, too, and Sonny sends the boys to feed ducks. "If you had anything to do with trying to get that shipment through my territory last night, we're going to have a problem," Sonny tells them. Sonny tells Skye that she made a big mistake last night and if she wants to play the game, she will have the consequences. After Sonny leaves, Lorenzo asked Skye what she has done. She says that she won't let anyone hurt his business.
Lorenzo is up and walking around the hospital halls with Skye by his side. He is grumbling about his lack of memory and the time it's taking to get better. She tells him that she'll be with him every step of the way and that she is minding his business in the meantime. He is taken away for tests. Ric finds Skye and asks her how Lorenzo is doing. She distrusts him, but says that he is still disoriented and confused. Ric comments that his symptoms are compatible with head trauma, but anyone with internet access and time on their hands could figure that out. Skye scoffs at his inference that Lorenzo is faking. Ric argues that Lorenzo could be trying to throw Sonny and Jason off balance. Later, Skye walks around a corner and finds Lorenzo on his double-secret cell phone. He hangs up and tells her that he did what she told him to, he told his business contacts that everything is on schedule. "How long can we keep this up?" Lorenzo blankly asks Skye.
Skye visits Lorenzo in his hospital room to tell him that all of his shipments are being turned away. She warns that his business will go bankrupt if this doesn't stop. After Lorenzo says that he feels badly for not being able to help, she tells him to focus on getting better and she'll see to it that Sonny stops his sabotage.
Skye breezes through the warehouse lobby on her way to see Sonny. When she gets in front of him she says, "Back off of Lorenzo, or I'll finish what he started." She threatens to have his piers closed down and give him the war that he's looking for. Sonny tells her that she's in over her head. He says he'll never turn a blind eye toward Alcazar again. "He's not doing business in this town!" Sonny says as he scoots her out of his office.
Skye is back at Lorenzo's bedside reporting about her visit with Sonny. He wishes he could help, and she tells him that she's a fast learner. In fact, she's already set up a meeting with some of his people. After she leaves, Lorenzo's double secret cell phone rings. Lorenzo reports that the situation is under control and that Mr. Corinthos will pay."
The Q family is gathering in the study, including Luke, Jax and Scotty. Luke whispers in Spanky Buns' ear that everything is taken care of. No one can figure out why Jax and Scott have been invited to attend. Monica says that she's not in the mood for a scene, so let him stay.
The lawyer begins to read:
*A generous amount to the La Mesa Wellness Community for breast cancer research.
*Alice gets $75,000. (Jax rushes over to shake her hand.)
*Luke gets $250, 000 for putting up with Tracy. (Luke acts deeply touched.)
At this point, Ned wonders out loud if Alan was of sound mind when he last amended the will. The lawyer proceeds:
*There is to be an inheritance in trust for Michael Corinthos III, but since Alan didn't trust his parents, he named Jasper Jax as the trustee.
*Ned gets Alan's box seats at Wimbledon as long as he never shares them with Monica. (Ned and Monica had an affair many, many years ago, so this is a funny jab.)
*Dillon gets all of Alan's home movies because if anyone can edit them into something interesting, he can.
*Skye gets Lila's ruby earrings because she doesn’t need money now that she's with Lorenzo.
*Jason gets Alan's engraved signet ring even if he never wants to wear it. He can pass it on to own son. And since he is gainfully employed as a gangster he doesn't get any money either.
*Monica gets all of his personal goods since words would never express his love anyway.
*Edward is to receive Alan's medical diploma in hopes that it will finally fill him with pride.
*Emily will get Lila's diamond necklace and no money since she is to marry the Cassidine heir.
*And finally, Alan bequeaths the rest of his estate, valuable funds and ELQ stock to his sister Tracy.
The lawyer has finished reading the will and Edward declares that it is a fake! Monica agrees because Alan would have never cut Emily out of his will. Skye points out that Tracy made out pretty well. Dillon compliments his mother for a sneaky job well done. Tracy tries to divert the attention by saying that Alice could have had a hand in it. As they bicker, Emily demands that they respect her dad's wishes. She insists that he knew that she, Jason and Skye don't need money and Tracy has been wanted his respect all of her life. "Let it rest," she orders and leaves.
They all calm down, but Luke tells Monica at least she got to keep the house. As they leave the room, Edward and Monica tell Tracy that they can't believe she and Luke deprived Alan of his last wishes. On his way out, Ned says that he'll reserve judgment because he chooses to believe that his mother could never have done such a thing. Dillon says, "Good role model, mom" and splits. Luke and Tracy are finally alone. Luke pulls her into his arms and tells her she's a big winner "ELQ stock or not". Over his shoulder, Tracy's face looks like she sees a ghost. And, she does! Alan is grinning from ear to ear, telling her to be ashamed of herself.
Lulu hobbles toward Dillon on her crutches and asks what is in the letter! Tracy intervenes and tells her to go find her father, then tells Dillon to let go of his silly investigation. Skye and a head-bandaged Lorenzo arrive and Tracy says that she won't allow the people responsible for her brother's death to crash his services. Skye said that she and Alan loved each other; furthermore, Alan forgave her for her part in what happened. Dillon and Ned come in and say that Alan would want Skye to be there. When Tracy continues to grumble, Ned puts his foot down. He says that they can be big enough to let Skye pay her respects. Alice tells everyone to "clam up".
Jason comes out of Alan's room and sees a tearful Skye. She's glad to hear that the daughter Alan raised was with him when he died -- instead of her. She feels badly for letting him go into the Metro Court knowing that there was a dangerous shipment in there. "Did you want Alan to die?" Jason asked. When she told him of course not, Jason tells her that she's not to blame. They both agree that they wish they had done everything differently. Skye walks away, and then Edward joins Jason. He assures Jason that Alan loved him deeply, but he wanted his son to live his dreams rather than his own. Edward shares that he struggled with Alan as much as Alan struggled with Jason. Edward says the he hopes Jason learns from their mistakes when he's a parent. Never assume that they know you love them, the sad old man says as he turns to leave. Emily finds Jason and he tells her how sorry he is that he didn't make it back in time. Emily explains that Alan wasn't scared or in pain. She tells Jason that Alan loved them all. Then Nikolas finds Emily and she cries about how safe and loved her dad always made her feel.
The nurses have already pulled the sheet over Alan's head, but Monica asks for a minute alone with him. She tells him that she needed to see him one more time to realize that he's gone. She pulls the sheet down and tearfully kisses his forehead. She tells him that she has always loved him with all of her heart.
Skye finds Edward at home looking at photo albums of Alan. She tells him that she loved Alan very much. Then, she makes sure that Edward knows that that he raised a compassionate and loving person, no matter how many mistakes he thanks he made with Alan. She explains that she has wondered what she could possibly give Alan back for all the love he has shown her, and then realized that Alan would be worried about Edward. So, she has come to help him through his grief. Edward simply started talking about Alan as a little boy and how kids grow up and the fighting begins. He breaks down about his "boy" being gone and allows Skye to hold his hand.
