"What is wrong with this picture?" Elizabeth asks Jason as she reminds him that he broke up with Sam over a year ago. Jason and Sam explain that she was kidnapped by Jerry while investigating him and that's why she hasn't been able to call Lucky. Liz keeps an open mind as she takes the whole story in. Then she says that Sam should've let Lucky help her and Jason should've told her that he was working with Sam. Wanting to get out of the way, Sam decides it's time to go home even though she's still wet.
After she's gone, Liz asks Jason if he would've ever told her about this? Jason tries to explain and reminds her that as the mother of his child, he needs to keep her in the dark on most things. She decides that now is the time to tell him about her and Lucky's confession to Luke and Laura about Jake. She explains that Laura insists on honesty from her family and now she thinks that is the kind of life she'd like, too. She tells Jason that she loves him, but can't keep it hidden anymore. She says it was wrong to tell their son such a big lie, but Jason isn't sure what to do. "We tell the truth and then we live the truth," Liz suggests. She says that he needs to tell her if he wants her or not. He whispers yes and then takes her in his arms. Liz asks if he means it, can they really all be together? Jason says their boys will have to grow up with guards, but he does want them all to be together. Liz is on cloud nine! She says that she has to go to pick up the boys and they'll be waiting for him at home. Jason promises to come over.
Jason has packed a little bag and is ready to leave his penthouse. Cody comes in and tells Jason to cancel his plans because Karpov is dead and the town is crawling with Russians. Cody tells Jason that he is a target!
Port Charles Loses an Angel and a Devil.
Jason and Sam hightail it to the railings of the freighter and jump overboard. Inside the cabin, Jerry scrambles to reach for the detonator but when he realizes that he'll never be able to reverse what he put in motion he sits back and laughs. Then, there's an explosion. Once Jason and Sam make it to the pier, they hear sirens start to roar in the background. Sam can't believe that Jerry Jacks is finally dead and thanks Jason for saving her. He credits Spinelli for planting the tracking device and then asks her to keep his part in this quiet.
Maxie storms over to Spinelli's place to do damage control. She promises him that she's changed from the person she used to be and would never hurt him. Spinelli says that he already knows that. That's when a very soggy Jason and Sam come through the door. Maxie assumes that they are messing around and she takes great joy in it. Spinelli ushers her out the door and tells her that he needs her discretion on the matter of Stone Cold and Sam. Maxie promises, but can't leave fast enough. Spinelli goes back inside and Sam thanks him for his part in saving her from Jerry. She tells him that she has missed him. Later, Sam is waiting by Jason's fire with her clothes draped over the fireplace to dry. She promises to be on her way soon. There's a knock at the door and when Jason opens it, Liz comes in and demands to know what is going on between them.
Laura Comes Home.
On the waterfront, Spinelli is lagging behind Jason with a little case of seasickness after a choppy ride across the harbor. Jason goes ahead without Spinelli. Soon, Jerry comes by and Spinelli asks what he's done with Samantha! Jerry brags that she is a willing partner on his boat and then is forced to defend himself from some odd looking martial arts moves. One punch puts Spinelli flat on his back, and Jerry is on his merry way. When Jason finds him later, Spinelli says that he lost the fight but was able to plant a tracking devise on Jerry. Jason tells him that he 'did good' and they take off.
Jason rushes onto the freighter and finds Sam. She tells him to hurry because Jerry's probably still on the boat! As Jason fumbles with a key, Jerry enters and holds them both at gunpoint. Jason puts his gun down on the bed near Sam and puts his hands in the air. Sam quickly draws the gun and shoots it as Jason lunges on Jerry. The two men struggle as Sam frees herself. Jason and Sam slip out the door and leave Jerry behind as he nervously tries to get up before the bomb goes off.
It's Mrs. Spencer vs. Mrs. Spencer.
Jason and Spinelli are brainstorming scenarios about 'who's zooming who?' when it comes to Sam and Jerry. As they talk, Spinelli's computer beeps and he learns that a man named James Brosnan was just investigated by the coast guard on a freighter. That's all they needed to hear.
Another Kiss Goodbye.
Jason has gone to Jax to inform him of what his big brother has been up to where Sam is concerned. Jax doesn't buy it for a minute.
Jason and Spinelli are back in his office trying to figure out where Jerry has taken Sam. They can't figure out why Sam is so important to Jerry, but discover that he took possession of a huge shipment of explosions earlier today.
