As Jason looks at the photo recreating Claudia’s death at his place, Spinelli walks in and learns Jason needs his help. Jason shows him the photo of Claudia’s death he got in the mail. He says Michael killed Claudia, but it was an accident and no one was supposed to know, but obviously someone does. Spinelli gets on his laptop to try and trace the photo back to the source.
Jason meets Sonny at the office and shows Sonny the photo. Sonny tells him to find the guy before he goes to the cops and to stop him from telling anyone what he knows.
Jason returns home where he and Sam discuss the photo of Claudia’s death. Jason needs to know who took the picture and why. Sam thinks whoever took the photo wants him to know that they know.
Live and Let Live.
In their office, Jason tells Sonny he doesn’t want to kill anymore. Sonny needs Jason, but he wants to give Michael something better to look up to. Sonny wants to turn things around and thinks this truce better work so they don’t engage in a mob war. Dominic comes to see Sonny and after Jason leaves, Sonny tells Dominic about a possible meeting with Joey in hopes of avoiding a war. Sonny tells him if the peace talks don’t go well, he will have to get his hands dirty, but there can’t be a repeat of what happened with Tommy Soto. Dominic assures him he can trust him. Jax walks in to talk to Sonny about the threat he poses to his family. After Dominic has left, Jax and Sonny argue and exchange warnings.
Jason goes to Carly’s house and tells her there has been a shift and it’s going to help Michael. He explains that Sonny is in peace talks with a rival and that he won’t be Sonny’s enforcer anymore. Carly doesn’t want him to blame himself regarding Michael, but Jason thinks he’s the only one who’s worried about him. Carly insists that’s not true and that Michael is emulating Sonny, but Jason wants to be worthy of Michael’s respect. Carly is grateful, but she doesn’t want him to risk his own life. She reminds him of all the good that he has done for her and her kids and picks Josslyn up and hands her to him.
Jason comes home and finds photos of Claudia’s recreated death the mystery person took and sent him.
Moving On.
Sam and Jason return to his place after a ride on his motorcycle and she wonders if it helped clear his mind from whatever is bothering him. Jason says he has to make a statement so no one undermines Sonny’s authority again, which would probably make the news, but he fears Michael will know it was him. Sam wonders if someone else can send the message. Dominic comes by and after Sam leaves, tells Jason he is prepared to head Anthony off, whatever it takes. He wants to learn from Jason and Sonny and urges him to use him. Jason responds he may be using him sooner than he thinks.
Sonny and Jason meet in their office at the restaurant and Sonny tells him Luke will set up a meeting with Joey to negotiate a truce separate from Anthony. Sonny says they can’t afford any surprises.
The Family Name.
In his office, Jason tells Jax if he wants Carly back he has to convince her he is equally involved in all of her kids including Michael. As Jax pleads his case, Carly walks in and lashes out at Jax. They argue and Jax leaves. Carly wonders to Jason if she can forgive Jax. Jason thinks if she wants to, she'll find a way. Carly needs him to tell her what to do, but Jason won't do it because every other time he's been wrong. Her main concern is Michael and she announces she is going to bring him home tonight.
Carly goes to Sonny's house for Michael, and Max tells her about Kiefer. Michael comes downstairs and learns she wants him to go home with her. Michael wants to stay and runs upstairs, as Sonny pulls into the driveway.
Sam visits Jason at the office under the guise of needing help on a case, but then admits she made it up because she just wanted to see him. Jason asks, "What am I going to do with you," and kisses her. Alexis walks in as Sam and Jason are in various stages of undress.
It’s Not Gambling, It’s Love.
Morgan comes home and learns Carly asked Jax to leave. Morgan wants Jax there and yells at his mother for messing things up for everyone. Morgan runs to his room and Jason comes over. Carly cries and hugs her friend.
