An Emotional Coward.

At the penthouse, Sam and Jason try to process Spinelli's declaration that Sonny's hair was found in the cabin. They think maybe it was on Claudia's clothes and Spinelli vows to do whatever it takes to make sure Mr. Sir is not charged in Claudia's death and leaves to work on it. Sonny comes to Jason's after Sam has left and learns his hair was found at the cabin. Sonny tells Jason he will be making the decisions from here on out and he needs him to stay out of it. They argue about it, but Sonny orders him to take a break. After Sonny leaves, Sam returns and Jason catches her up on the situation. She again tells him he can't take the blame for things and reminds him he did everything out of love for Michael. She will never stop believing in him and they kiss.

A Big Mess.

At the hospital, Dante overhears Sonny and Michael talk about Claudia getting hit in the head with an axe at the cabin. Sonny says they have to put it behind them now and thinks Franco moving the body has made it tougher for the cops to find her and who killed her.

Sonny goes back to his office and finds Dominic who fills him in about breaking up Michael's argument with Kristina. Sonny knows Michael wants to be like him, but he doesn't know how to stop him. Dominic expresses his worry for Michael dealing with things, but tells Sonny from what he's seen he's a good father. Sonny wants better for Michael and thanks Dominic for telling him about Kristina.

Sonny sees Olivia as he walks out of Kelly's and they talk about the trouble they used to get into as kids. Conversation turns to their children and Sonny says he doesn't know how to fix things for Michael. She urges him to get out of town and he wonders why.

Lucky Gets an Eyeful.

In Sonny's office at the restaurant, Dominic and Sonny discuss setting up Franco as Jason walks in thinking it's a huge risk. Sonny thinks if they give the cops Franco, everybody wins. Jason wants to talk about this privately and Sonny sends Dominic to talk to Ronnie. After he leaves, Jason says they can't risk provoking Franco out of fear of him exposing Michael. Sonny only sees that giving up Franco will close the case, which is good for them and for Michael. Jason counters Franco will only see it as a challenge and it would be a threat to Michael. Jason wants to come up with another way and Sonny orders him to make it fast because Michael is running out of time. Sonny leaves and Spinelli walks into Puzzolo's. Jason instructs him to hack into the PCPD to find the forensic evidence from Claudia's body. Jason also tells him they have to come up with an alternative to pinning Claudia's death on Franco. Spinelli gets a hit on his laptop saying a hair has been recovered from the cabin.

Michael goes to the morgue and says he needs to see Claudia's body. Sonny walks up and says, "No you don't." The lab tech says autopsies can only be released to the cops and walks away. Michael wonders what an autopsy will reveal and Sonny explains it will reveal she was killed from a blow to the head, but it can't reveal it was from an axe handle or who swung it, as Dante secretly listens in.

Impossible Situations.

Mac comes to Pozzulo's to tell Sonny the body found in the warehouse was Claudia's and will tell them everything they need to know so they can put the case to bed. Sonny is glad there is closure. Mac is disdainful of Sonny, who tells Mac he shouldn't cast judgment because he doesn't know what went on in his house. Sonny says he's glad to know what happened to her and Mac wonders if he wants whoever is responsible brought to justice. Sonny says, "Why wouldn't I Mac?"

Dante heads to Ronnie's hospital room to talk about the case against Sonny. They go over what they have against him which Dante calls circumstantial. He says they need solid DNA evidence from Claudia's body proving Sonny killed her as the mob boss himself walks in. Sonny just wanted to check on Ronnie and asks Dominic to come to the office later. Sonny leaves and Ronnie tells Dante his job is to provide the evidence against Sonny no matter how he feels about him. Dante assures him he is in this until the bitter end.

Dominic goes to Sonny's office who wonders why Franco would target Ronnie when everything else about his game was about Jason. Sonny wonders if he did it to steer the investigation in another direction. He wants Dominic to have Ronnie tell the cops Franco confessed to Claudia's murder the night he went into his hospital room.

Advice.

Michael comes to Sonny's house who tells him the cops might have found Claudia's body. Jason comes to see Sonny after Michael has left and Sonny judges the way Jason handled Franco. Jason tries to explain Franco to him and Sonny thinks Jason needs to get back to work to keep Michael safe. Jason tells him Franco plans to match him kill for kill. Sonny tells him he needs to stop making the wrong choices where Franco is concerned, as Carly walks up saying Sonny is the one getting played by Franco. They all debate the situation and Sonny says if the body in the warehouse turns out to be Claudia's, it's up to them to make sure the cops don't find out Michael killed her.
