What dream sequence? The one when he was in the white room, that was before Michael. Or did he just have one?

He was at the overlook thinking about the time after Michael was shot when Lulu was saying about how destructive the mob can be and how Lulu was saying it's just one side kills someone and then the other retaliates and on and on.

After that point, he was with Claws and was outraged at her idea of getting pregnant to save her butt. Of course his thoughts were why would Claws want to bring another child into the world of mob violence. I find it interesting how Claws is using the word "us" rather than "me" in describing the danger element if Sonny finds out about Michael's shooting. I guess Johnny would be in jeopardy too, as Sonny would go ballistic on all things Zacharra...not just Claws, but maybe Johnny too...so is this another reason he wants to bail on Lulu too?

It seems apparent, by the way, that the final fight will be at the apartment. Lulu went there, leaving Maxie at work (Spin is at Crimson with Maxie who is fuming over the Matt date business.) and Johnny was at the apartment waiting for Lulu...she phoned to tell him that Maxie was upset. Johnny mentioned that he'd been with Claudia, but again refused to confide in Lulu about why. Lulu didn't like that he would not confide in what he went to see Claudia about and he basically said that's the way it is and if she didn't like it, she could bail...so, Lulu, my dear...I'd BAIL!

Johnny is such an ASS!!

I am so scattered in my thinking right now. I am upset with Johnny going all cryptic on Lulu again and acting like a jerk with someone he used to tell his deepest, darkest secrets to and Maxie thinking Lulu's committed some great big sin by having her go out with Matt....please!!!

Maxie POed me when she said that she's not to blame for what's wrong with Jolu as a couple...OK, there is more to it, such as how Johnny is behaving, but Maxie has no problem with being the tool Johnny's using to mess up his relationship!

Well, final fight started today...Lulu last asked Johnny if he wanted to break up with her so he could be with Maxie...there's his opening to pretend there's more going on then there's been, which he most likely will do.

After today, I do wonder if JoMax sex is inevitable. Maxie's just in complete biotch mode, deciding that she's done being Lulu's friend and trying to respect her feelings (yeah right) and that Lulu will regret making her go on the Matt date...so then I suppose Lulu should get some revenge for having to endure the JoMax dates? Nah, I forgot...whatever Maxie does to other people is OK. Whatever someone else does to her isn't. Spinelli looked worried that Maxie's going back to her "bad blonde one ways." So, the stage is set for the Jolu break up and the JoMax kiss, which Spin will see.

Sounds like it was brutal already and the b/u hasn’t even started. I can on imagine what tomorrow will be like.

It was a weird episode...I wonder what everyone else's take will be.

At the start, it's almost like we were supposed to believe that Lulu's words about mob violence insomuch as it related to what happened to Michael have been weighing heavily on Johnny (It doesn't seem like anything Lulu has said to him lately has had any effect on him...he's barely noticed she's alive and breathing lately.) and that we should perhaps feel sorry for him making the "great sacrifice" of ending his relationship with Lulu.

Then came the banter with Claws and her motherhood plans. That, of course, sent Johnny into emotional overdrive...same as when he was having the job problems and guilty over Sonny helping him out after Anthony had Johnny arrested to bring him back to the family. Poor Lulu was in the crossfire again.

Lulu held her own so far...she's absolutely correct that he used to confide in her and she's got a right to be confused as to why he's shut down suddenly. Lulu, I think, still believes he is looking for an out (and he is). He's just simply going to use Maxie as that "out" he's been looking for and devastate Lulu in the process by allowing her to believe there's been more going on that there really has.

Maxie, I'm not even going to discuss anymore...I know she's GH's resident bad girl, but her behavior is deplorable. The girl will stop at nothing to make Lulu believe she's the one with the problem. According to Maxie, Lulu's to blame for everything...what happened at Crimson, the insecurities Lulu has, the destruction of Jolu. Maxie just has zero conscience and she behaves like a toddler. I felt sorry for Spin seeing her in that mode...pretty ugly sight, wasn't it Spin? If the guy doesn't swear off Maximista after seeing the kiss, then I'll wonder if he has any vital signs, much less self respect for himself in wasting time with someone who could give two monkeys about him.

Move on, Lulu and Spin...it's time.

vm, I know that you don't want to think Johnny is this bad guy, and that is your prerogative......but you can't just dismiss the second kiss in the limo, he does feel something for Maxie!
I do think he does feel bad about Michael's shooting but is still no excuse for his behavior lately.

vm, you may be right....and I would love to join in your theory but I still can't get that limo kiss out of my mind, even if it was filler, I still can not get it or the way Johnny has been treating Lulu out of my mind. It just needs to end.

I agree that I think the impression we were supposed to get today is that Johnny was at breaking point...his world indeed crashing down on him. His conversation with Claudia didn't help much. I think he's every bit afraid for his own life, should Sonny find out about Michael. The way Sonny is when he's angry, I can see the potential for him to want to wipe out everything named Zacharra. By being there for his stupid sister, Johnny's gotten sucked into the drama and the danger, if that makes sense. Wonder if the guy will learn his lesson now about always being there for his sister...depending on how the writers want to play it, his devotion might cost him his life.

Johnny's put himself where he finds himself right now, which is why my empathy for his "pain" went out the window a long time ago. Hurting Lulu is easier than being the man he should be in order to do what is right. He's tricked himself into thinking he's been honest and open with Lulu (I wonder if he really believes he has?) and has chosen to be part of the problem and the destruction, rather than part of the solution and making things better. I would bet Johnny thinks as Maxie does...he's doing Lulu a favor by freeing her of him. If you are someone who would prefer Lulu be in the next county away from Johnny, then you may think he's absolutely right. If you're someone who'd like Jolu to survive, then you're probably screaming at your TV for this guy to wake up and perhaps have no voice left at this point because he's still sound asleep emotionally.

I honestly doubt Johnny has anything representing genuine feelings for Maxie, even if he tells Lulu he does. For him, Maxie's nothing more than a drink, a drug or a hooker/call girl. Something that's pure escapism and he can use to relieve his tensions. JoMax are both users and that's where it ends. JMHO.

I will find the fallout interesting...Maxie, I don't expect to have any regrets about anything. The girl has no soul. Johnny, well, how he reacts will say a lot.

Spin and Lulu...well, I expect Spin to get thrown into the PI thing with Sam. Lulu, I expect to get thrown toward Ethan and maybe her family, which seems to be in for some drama with Helena's return.

I just wonder when the heck this Michael secret thing will all come to a head so we can all move on! Gee, everyone but the mayor knows by now. When Lulu does find out, if she does, it will be interesting to see how she reacts. Still, if we have Sarah sticking around as Claudia, unless Jerry implicates someone else, I cannot see how the secret will come out soon. If someone else is implicated, then who? I am not sure that Rick Hearst is leaving anymore (Perhaps just dropped down to recurring like Megan Ward.) so to have him killed off doesn't seem logical. I heard Sonny will order a hit (Might result in Carly getting hurt, the spoilers say.), so he must find out something at some point. The secret is just getting silly and so many people have been needlessly hurt by it.

When has Maxie EVER fought her impulses? And if she doesn't do something even nastier to Lulu she will be the one stomped on? WTF does she come up with this logic? She and Johnny belong together. Never have I seen a more perfectly matched pair of whinning, self-absorbed, unconscionable, heartless, cold, ruthless, evil, cowardly a.ssholes.

Johnny could have taken the high road and broke things off with Lulu way before now. Why not leave things as they were after the fight the night of the blizzard, instead of coming back with "You're the only woman I love, I could never like Maxie like that, I've been HONEST with you, TRUST ME, I'm only doing this so I can have the money to take you out like you deserve and start my own business, etc., etc.. But no he hasn't humiliated, destroyed and diminished her enough yet with his lies, cheating and backstabbing. He has no intention of leaving her with am ounce of pride. Talk about getting stomped on!!! Johnny really does have AZ's cruelty running through his veins. The look he gave Lulu when she asked if was breaking up with her because he wants to be with Maxie was one of, "How dare you bring poor Maxie into this and the answer is yes and if you don't like it , BAIL." This way he isn't accountable for his actions and he can shift the blame onto Lulu.

Johnny isn't feeling guilty about Michael, he's protecting Claws and sacrificing Lulu to do it. And he's lusting after Maxie, hard. This is the "MAN" Lulu should fight for and want to be with again after he gets his fill of Maxie? Johnny certainly is a PRIZE worth having, huh? I'm so sick of these LOSERS. We need to blow up the commentline with our disgust of HoHo and especially if they don't get their come-uppance!

I would love for Ethan to meet Johnny on the dock and beat the s.hit out of him for what he's done to Lulu. Also for Spinelli to throw a well deserved puch and break his nose for playing him and Lulu for SUCKER'S! That would MAKE MAY DAY PUNK!
