Not sure how Olivia will be toward DanLu...we do know she'll be worried about protecting Dante's identity, as she's been for months, so that's nothing new. I'd like to see her be supportive of Lulu. As Charlchris mentioned earlier...things could get weird if Johnny's still dating Olivia. I wouldn't want to see Thanksgiving dinner at Olivia's place under those circumstances!

Yes, I do think Livvy saw for the first time today that Dante likes Lulu...he was genuinely worried for her, kept going to check on her, risked his life for her. What mother would not notice that? I'd like to see a bond between Olivia and Lulu really. Judging from what we hear about Johnny going all dark, Livvy may need Lulu's advice shortly on how to deal with Johnny when he's in a POed mood! Lulu's seen that side of him lots of times...Olivia, not so much yet!

Dante, I truly love more and more every day...he's such a sweetie! The actor is doing a fabulous job!

I saw an article on the People website showing James Franco and Kirsten Storms reading a script together. Wonder if they are going to put Maxie with him? Interesting.

I'm not sure how much I'd read into Maxie's new dark hair. KS is known for being daring with her locks. She went dark before when Coop was still on right after the Logan grossness when she got dumped and was abruptly blonde again in a week or so. People noted that she was "rootsy" so I think she grew in the blonde and thanks to the gap in taping times was a full out brunette by the time she taped again.

Here's what I didn't get. Why is Kate worried about a pool in November and how did Maxie get a new hair color all in the same night as the party?

As much as I feel it would damage the rebuilding of Lucky to put him with the woman who duped him into think she was pregnant I have to say I've been wondering how JJ would be with KS. I think his Lucky would bring out Maxie's more human side instead of her overused conniving side.

I also think Maxie got to see bloody Sonny because she is a blabber mouth and how else would Johnny find out? Lulu isn't even going to blab about the cop in Sonny's organization her lips are so sealed. I think Maxie is more a tool here then really a part of it.

Not liking Johnny dissing Lulu about the danger thing. If they want Lulu to be Ms. Weakling, stop having her spout off about liking danger it makes her look pathetic. She's all talk. I know L&L were about Laura finding her strength after everyone thought she was pathetic and a house wife, but every love story for Lulu cannot be an attempt to redo L&L. They trashed the real L&L, stop tryign to recreate it. DanLu have their own story, tell it. JoLu had a story and they ruined it trying to make Lulu Laura. If you don't want Lulu near the mob, stop putting her near it to prove she can't handle it, she's a Spencer prove she can and move on. Maxie's every blabber mouth moment proves she can't handle the mob stuff, but they prove ditsy Felicia's daughter is "tough" every chance they get.

Not every female needs to love danger and spout the same mantra of "I love trouble", differentiate between characters. It kills me that they made the girl who duped Dillon into a weakling who forgives everything, waffles over every decision and is too fragile to have a life outside of wiping Kate's butt, wiping Maxie's nose and eventually becoming Liz where she'll just change diapers.

This is why I started writing my own stuff finally, GH enraged me by destroying characters and love stories.

Well, almost half way through the show.

Johnny is reacting about Claudia exactly as I anticipated..."My sister, my sister, my sister...blah blah." He'll go ape when he realizes she's dead. He even behaved like his sister when he had the nerve to remind Spin how he saved his life in the warehouse. It's true...he did just that, but like Claudia, to get what he wants, he has to remind someone of the nice thing he did for them! This is part of why I can no longer accept the "Mobster with a heart of gold" thing which Johnny had about his character when he first arrived. He's pretty much like his family. Of course, I'd expect him to be upset about his sister...not criticizing that at all with that. But, berating people isn't going to help the situation...he went at Sam pretty heavily and was rude to Spin, I thought. Wouldn't surprise me if we see Johnny go in to see Lulu and pick her brain to see if she knows anything about Claudia!

Nice DanLu scene and I liked that Dante met Luke. Spencer family scene was nice. Liz...agreed with her. Lulu's old enough to make her own decisions without the whole family passing judgement!


Much about today thus far seems to be about right and wrong...in the normal human being sense and the mob world where regular rules just don't apply! Jax is absolutely right about what he said to Carly. No one would convict Michael for what he did...just like no one would have convicted Lulu for killing Logan. Even with the prior wrench incident, if a lawyer could have proven that Logan had a pattern of violence against women (recall that female soldier who was murdered where Logan and Cooper were stationed?), Lulu would have been found innocent!

I like that the point about right and wrong is being made here...at least it's being addressed!

If I read one more post wanting a story that says Tracy is the only mom Lulu has known I may scream. Seriously Lulu had a mom she talks about all the time. I may hate Laura, but she was a mom to Lulu. Tracy didn't raise Lulu, most of the time she ignores her unless she's shouting at her. Tracy met Lulu at 17 and had no legal rights to her as she was only Luke's wife and didn't adopt Lulu. She didn't bandage knees or ease emotional hurts. She caused emotional hurts and only cared when she thought it would make Luke happy. Tracy is not Lulu's mom, she is her father's wife. That's it.

Anyway...LadyStarlight I was thinking about the Michael/Lulu thing. Lulu didn't even actively defend herself she held a knife and Logan ran into it. Then she felt needless endless remorse when everyone who knew told her not to. Then she went nuts. Now Michael actively defended Carly and feels nothing and everyone is going to worry that he doesn't care. Ok this is so stupid.

Tracy isn't Lulu's mom...Ok, Lulu lived at the Q's and she's been there for her when Laura couldn't be, but that's about the extent of it. At the end of the day, I am tired of everyone in the family ganging up on Lulu...I liked the family support today and that's nice, but it had to be Liz to point out that Lulu's a grown young lady...if she likes Dante, that's her business! Just like Nik's mess with Liz is his business and Ethan's mess with Rebecca is his...Lulu's not butted in there yet, has she?

I do see a lot of parallels to what Michael did to what Lulu did...maybe the situations were different, but the mobular reaction involved really fouls things up and puts a lot of gray matter in!

Johnny...jump to conclusions much??? How do you know how Sonny got the blood on his shirt and who the blood belongs to??? Going to take Maxie's word for that all?? What a doofus! I'm not sure I like Kirsten as a brunette...reminds me of her dream episode when she was playing BJ. It's her hair though...maybe she needed a change.

Gee...is Jason going to admit to Carly that he's also known the truth for a long time or will that part be omitted to save the Carly/Jason relationship?? SB holding the baby was cute! "Claudia's dead...it's finally over." Um...Jason, it would seem that with Franco coming, your problems are just starting! I wish I knew more about the character! I also wish GH would get more creative with names. We have to call Franco by James Franco's last name? Just like we have to call Dominic by DZ's real name in case he gets confused! The only thing I have read about the character is that he may have a connection to Dante's Mr. Poletti...maybe his son? I read that somewhere a long time ago...not sure if it's true.

Didn't see the scene with Maxie in Lulu's hospital room where Dante was also standing there, but maybe we see that tomorrow.

I figured, from seeing spoilers, that Dante would offer to help Johnny search for answers to what happened to Claudia. Olivia, it is said, will think Dante is helping in order to take Johnny down. Maybe she'd be right about that...Dante still seems to have his eyes on the prize with his mission! Did Claudia suffer?? Not to sound mean, but Johnny...again, the only person who cares is YOU! The woman ordered a hit which got a young boy a bullet in the head, she sent a psychopath after Kristina and Michael in Mexico, took a pregnant woman hostage, so I doubt anyone else would really give a toss if she suffered and plead for her life! Johnny should think about wondering about those things the next time Sonny asks him to go "off" someone!

For years, viewers have watched the touching, tempestuous romance, courtship, wedding(s) and marriage of Drs. Robin Scorpio and Patrick Drake. The fact that they're the happiest couple on the canvas is a testament to the interesting characters they are, the chemistry between Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson, and the effectiveness of their new status as a fun, frothy private eye combo. We regret that Patrick's ex is hovering because so far the writer's have done a bang-up job disproving the adage that a happy couple is a boring one without relying on predictable forays into jealousy and miscommunication.

Haven't watched today's epi, will try to watch soapnet later. From all your posts...the DanLu scenes sound very good, even if they're short. Hopefully tomorrow we get the Maxie scene....maybe she will be the "friend" and leave immediately! Not happy that Jerk-ny(if true) will learn Dante's secret and please don't let it be Lulu who spills the beans! Maybe it's AZ....he's the only smart, crafty person in PC!

Our thread is slowly dying and I think I'll be the next poster to vanish into the ether. It's not the company believe me , I am just finding GH boring. As much as I wanted to tear my hair out at the lack of story for JoLu, Liz and Carly during Guza's reign of terror where stories played out forever it was somehow more interesting than what I have on my screen with clean up crew writing these days. The funny is gone. I've always loved GH's sense of humor and for all that the show is lighter now in tone, it no longer makes me laugh.

I'm tired of Johnny failing to see that Claudia was awful. Yes she's his sister and she's dead, but they never really gave him that "oh everyone was right and I was blind about her" moment. He gave lip service to her being awful, but he'd run right back to her (like he is now) and I never felt the lighbulb went off for him. She'll be his martyr now. The rallying cry to go after Sonny, who by the rules of Johnny's world, was entirely justified in killing her.

I'm tired of Maxie blabbing her mouth about stuff she knows nothing of and getting a pass instead of everyone realizing it means she's not mob material.

I'm tired of Lulu, who is mob material, being called weak and now being written as disloyal to Sonny and by extension Carly for a guy she just met. I don't think Lulu pushed Dante away because he was a mobster and mobster Johnny burned her, I think she wasn't into men in general (as she had every right) and that she has learned to like Dante instead of falling head over heels for him. Which is not interesting me.

As much as I wanted to see the story of Luke's daughter with Sonny's son, well Dante is too much a talkative goody two shoes for me and while Lulu has been revived people will hate her for keeping Dante's secret and we are in for another round of "she's too weak". Only this time she'll get to keep her 9 to 5 boring guy and live her mother's boring version of life with a white picket fence.

I was looking forward to Niz, but it seems it was stalled for another go round of L&L2 . I love JJ and I loved his Lucky with Liz, but it's so over. Niz was fresh and new, but it's another guy Liz can't have and another case of my not understanding why she can't have the guy she can't have. He's Lucky's brother, so what?

I'm tired of Jax's crusade against Sonny. It's been like 14 years enough already. The guy has had all your women first get over it or get new women. Grow up Jax and stop crying that Sonny done you wrong you knew going in that he and Carly had kids; Sonny is part of your life even if he's in jail because of the kids.

I'm tired of Olivia being everywhere spouting her garbage. Shut up Olivia you never say anything new. If you care at all about your son you'd tell the truth and end this all, but you care more about yourself. I don't need to see a rehashing every day.

I'm tired of everyone running Lulu's life. She's a 20 something, not a child. Show her the guy you want her with, but don't dismiss all her choices w/o knowing them. They all basically say she should be alone because they don't like her guys and offer no options.

I'm tired of that REM song and the story that goes with it before it has started. And I'm tired of the Cassadine story with it's hole-y start before it gets off the ground.

Basically I'm just tired of GH and all it's promises that are never fulfilled.

Aerinha...I feel your frustrations...I honestly do! I think when you're a writer, when you see so much wasted potential, it gets even more frustrating to watch what GH is doing. Rinse, recyle, repeat, if it continues, is what will eventually send this soap down the path of many other soaps that no longer exist and that's sad!

The thread title itself here, has perhaps become a moot point, but I am just not ready to post on a DanLu board yet until I see where they are going and boy, are they taking it slllloooooow! Well, maybe that is not a bad thing, but still, there's nothing wrong with progression either!

Johnny being jealous over DanLu? That'd be one heck of a stretch, unless he's like Sonny...a guy that never really quite gets over his women and completely throws them away! Right now, Johnny could give two monkeys about Lulu...we were never even shown that what he did to her bothered him in the slightest, so the jealousy thing, if they play that card, is going to bug me!

Olivia is suffering from Maxie-itis...too much exposure! She is a character who came from nowhere who now has to be in every damn scene, offering her stupid two cents! It's going to come back and bite the character...there's already dislike for Olivia out there because they are overusing her...and grossly underusing other characters!

Spixie..it seems to be they are toast. We have gone from seeing them slobber over each other all the time and having to endure Maxie's "essential person" lipdrool to the wedding that wasn't to...NOTHING! I've read everything from Maxie being sent back to Johnny to Maxie being tested with JJ to Maxie being placed with Franco...that pairing would not last long because I don't think Franco is staying long; unless that changes.

I didn't see today's ep. yet. I read that Johnny had a tearful moment with Livvy over Claudia. I know I'm going to sound mean, but PLEASE!!!! Here we have Johnny waffling back and forth again...wasn't he recently so angry at her that he was willing to "give her up" to protect Olivia? I have also read that AZ will be on the warpath...Um, WHY?? Didn't he want Claudia dead??? Michael saved him the trouble, just like Lulu saved Johnny the trouble of killing Logan. Johnny loathed Logan and I think he would have eventually done the deed himself! Maybe AZ's just POed that he didn't get to knock Claudia off.

GH clearly does things to death...maybe they think the viewers are slow on the uptake or something? I find it disrespectful of them to think soap viewers need to be hit over the head with a storyline or have storylines which are obvious repeats thrown at them and we're supposed to have mental blocks as to what happened in past years so that the shoddy writing and the lack of continuity makes sense!

Happy Weekend! I did see last night's episode.

Brandon Barash played his scenes very well and even though Johnny's not my favorite person on the show, he did make me feel for him...the kicker in all this? It's the writers' faults that they made Claudia so vile that one just has trouble harboring any sympathy/empathy for her death. My lack of sympathy/empathy for Johnny has been ruined in the same way...the writers took away his likability as the former tortured mob prince and made him into a cheater and liar who is too lazy to want better for himself. Claudia was VERY unlikable. As we've mentioned before, part of the writer's responsibility in geting the audience to halfway give a darn about a villian is to show that they have some humanity. They do this with someone like Jerry Jacks...he's as vile as they come too, but when it comes to his brother, we do see he has some humanity. Claudia...they could have attempted to make her more human too...after all, she was a scared, insecure unloved little girl underneath the facade. That point got burried underneath all the stuff they had Claudia do and we missed the point that she was lashing out at others out of hurt, frustration and a sheer lack of self esteem. All of that came courtesy of AZ. Her reasoning for wanting a baby so bad? Really at the heart of it was wanting something that she could love and would love her back. But, again, all of that was drowned out under the scheming of wanting to save her own butt because of what she did to Michael and get pregnant at any cost...whether she had to use Sonny, Ric or even Dante to do it! How sad, really!

Olivia...can someone please whack her in the head and bury HER??? Geeze, Lady...you're going to get your own son killed if you don't back off! I am sick to tears at her making her own son out to be the bad guy, simply because she's "in bed" with the mob! Dante has a job to do...Let him do it, Olivia! Although Carly doesn't know all the Dante facts yet, I was not upset with Carly ripping into Olivia. I'd like to see more of that, actually. The self righteous woman needs to be ripped a new one! I have a feeling her time for that is arriving!

I can see, from reading around for spoilers, Johnny's going off the deep end. GHH even says something about "Franco murders, as does Johnny." and "Dante fears that Johnny is losing it." Sounds like Johnny may be picking up where his sister left off...is death far behind for Johnny? Or jail, if he kills?

What is really bugging me now? It's said that Johnny will learn about Dante...well, from whom?? I cannot find out the person who lets him know. If it's Lulu, I would have to say that's going to really turn me off big time! If it is Lulu, that again puts her in a position of caring far too much about a guy who never cared about her. Lulu owes Johnny nothing...not even protection from harm. Luke and Sonny are far different kettles of fish. It's annoyed me to no end to see Lulu show even one iota of loyalty or caring toward Johnny...I admire that the writers haven't made her the biotch toward him that she COULD have been...it gave her an element of class. But, she should be just as icy toward him and not give a damn about what happens to Johnny's sorry butt where Dante and his mission is concerned.

I think Jason should put on his psychiatrist hat...he may find himself needing it over Carly/Jax. If I were Carly, I'd be just as annoyed at Jason as I am at Jax. But, then, this is Carly/Jason we are talking about and Carly would forgive Jason for everything!

I think my plans are to go as far as seeing the Dante reveal (I hope Guza delivers on his promise not to drag this out much longer) and what happens with all that and watching DanLu continuing to unfold and see where that goes to make a decision if I'm finished with this show. If DanLu becames JoLu 2 or a boring, Scrubs/Spixie couple, I'm finished. I have no interest in watching that happen.

Oh well...off to enjoy the nice, fall day outside! Have a good one, Everyone!

I seriously hope it is not Lulu who tells Johnny. That would be really dumb! More likely, Maxie will be lurking outside Lulu's room when Olivia is trying to convince her to be discreet and then she'll run off and tell Johnny. lol My Goodness, the way Olivia, Ronnie, Jax and most everyone else who knows is going around blabbing about it in public places, really it is a wonder that it hasn't been published in the PC newspaper by now. It's Olivia and Kate's fault Claudia found out he's her son, and she's going to be giving Lulu advice about being discreet.

I would hope that Lulu will find a way to be the strong, resourceful Spencer that she is and find a way to get her father out of it before it all goes down.

I hate what tptb are doing with Michael. He seems to be headed for a life of a serial killer mobster or following the same path Lulu did and end up guilt stricken and mentally unstable in Shadybrook. Been there done that.

I actually liked Claudia until she sent Jerry after Michael and Kristina. Before that, she seemed remorseful and really no worse than any of the other mobsters on the show. But, that was really the breaking point. Whereas the first time she had no way of knowing Michael would be there or that Devlin would take a shot with a kid in the room, the second time she conciously sent a madman after 2 kids. I do however, feel bad for Johnny. I think all he wants is closure, to visit her grave and know what happend. He hasn't been denying she was a psychopath or that she did terrible things.

I have been seeing many spoilers saying AZ is going to be out for revenge when he finds out Claudia was murdered. Why?? Didn't he tell Joey Limbo to take her out?

I hope Dante puts Sonny and Jason in jail for awhile. It will be fun to see them behind bars with crazy Anthony!

"Not anytime soon, I'm still very young and enjoying being married and traveling with my husband without kids entering into the picture yet. Bull-running and bullfights are not a kid-friendly opportunity [laughs]."

James Franco..... will be involved with Maxie, Dante, Olivia, Sonny, Jerk-ny, Sam, Jason, Spinelli, and perhaps Luke. What about Lulu? This info bothers for many reasons. Why is Maxie being inserted into this storyline? Into the Claudia murder....and possibly into DanLu's relationshsip? Thanks to Jerk-ny, Dante knows that Maxie saw Sonny and his bloody shirt, and this puts her in Dante's orbit! Just what I wanted to happen.

How big of an a.ss was Jerk-ny when Maxie was asking about Lulu on Thursday? Like he was repulsed by the idea of someone asking HIM of all people about Lulu! Why does this keep happening? We get it....JOLU are OVER....thank the soap gods! Why continue to have Lulu in his orbit, and his snarky, nasty remarks? Stop the insanity and pain of beating a "dead" horse to death!

Someone posted that soapnet spoilers/spumors board reported DanLu have the green light....hopefully the third time is the charm and.....major angst and fighting!

Sorry I hate to be the "doom and gloom" of our thread...but I have no faith what so ever that TIIC will do DanLu right! Maxie has been inserted and that always means trouble for Lulu. Gosh I wish I didn't have these feelings, because I truly want to see Lulu and Maxie to be friends instead of enemies......but GUZA never leaves well enough alone!

Another worry I have with Maxie....wasn't Jessie undercover also? This could lead to Maxie being a "better fit" for Dante than Lulu, an attraction because "Maxie is just being Maxie!" Sorry.....just not having positive thoughts right now about my couple! Believe me....I'm trying to hang on because I truly love Lulu, Dante, and DanLu! But I don't trust GUZA and his band of Rinse....Recycle....Repeat creatively bankrupt idiots to write the awesome story DanLu has the potential and chemistry to bring!

Not liking Jerk-ny getting another free pass. He knew what Claudia did and was in on it to some degree....yet everyone in PC acts like he totally innocent. GMAB!

Haven't watched Friday's epi yet....I can't explain why...but I just don't seem to have any interest in watching! So I can't discuss anything about it yet.

Please don't leave our thread. I love posting my concerns/opinions about DanLu, Jerk-ny/Jolivia, past Jolu, and GH in general with you and all of the wonderful ladies on this thread. I'm not ready to join the DanLu thread just yet......nothing personal.......but I'm not a fan of Jolivia or Jerk-ny.....so I'm more comfortable here for now.

Well enough "doom & gloom and ranting. Hope I haven't upset anyone with my post....as this was not my intention! Maybe I do need to watch Friday's epi and see if it will change my outlook a bit! LOL!
