Kind of a very dramatic murder scene, wasn't it...with the slow motion and the creepy music! Claudia's death was handled in the same mobular way Logan's was...essentially, if Michael were brought to trial for the killing, a jury might very well find him innocent based on the fact he was trying to save his mother and baby sister from a psycho! Just like Lulu was trying to protect herself from a man who'd already attacked one woman and was on his way to chop the door down with an ax to "talk" to her! That's Mobsville Port Chuck!

I think we're on the way to seeing Dark Johnny...notice how he just completely distanced himself from Olivia? No snuggling or kissing. Reminds me of how he'd back off of Lulu when something would happen to upset him...especially when it involved his family.

I can, in taking a look at how they keep putting Johnny in DanLu's orbit, see a scenario like Charlchris pointed out...yes, they could do a Johnny/Lulu/Dante triangle, but first, they'd have to show that Johnny still gives a damn about Lulu and right now, nothing could be further from the truth! Things can change, though! Now, Johnny has no family (well, Dad's in the slammer) and if things go into the toilet with Olivia when Johnny finds out that the son she kept secret is trying to take the mob down and she knew all about it, it would make Johnny either very forgiving or desperate to hang on to Olivia to be forgiving of her.

What the Helena was the purpose of Maxie there? Why was she out in the middle of nowhere in a storm on Crimson business??? So, she saw the blood on Sonny's shirt and now thinks he's offed Claudia and will tell Johnny, I suppose! Johnny isn't stupid...I do think that he won't believe Claudia vanished into thin air. He'll know she's dead, but won't know exactly how and by whose hand. Michael would probably be the last person he'd suspect.

It is interesting how they allowed Johnny to hear Lulu's "officer" slip when talking about Dante...of course that wasn't Lulu's fault. The poor girl was delirious with hypothermia! Wonder if Johnny will confront Lulu with what was said or if he bought Dante's explanation?

Carly, I take it, now knows about Claudia's involvement with Michael's shooting, but does NOT yet know how long Jax has known...that's the sticking point and it will be interesting to see if Jax remains a man of his word and will tell all now that the baby is born. I'm sure he'd rather keep quiet about it! He has to know that Carly will go ape for being kept in the dark!

Well, November is a good sweeps so far! It's got my attention!

Yeah, some of the dialog was discomforting today. I do get Lulu's loyalty to Sonny, and I do fear for the effect the situation with Dante will have on her. Lulu already has enough "darned if I do, darned if I don't" problems! Sonny telling Michael "you did good" upon killing someone...a bit creepy. Yes, he did save Carly and Josslyn, but even in self defense, it would be a bit "offputting" to say someone "did good!" Much of the banter between Sonny and Michael and even with Olivia is trying to justify the reasons for doing the wrong things, but wrong is always wrong...well, maybe except in Port Charles!

Ok wow...I didn`t think it was that bad actuallly...Please everyone take a deep breath..1...2...3...Yoga! LOL

First, DAnte was too adorable...He was so concerned for Lulu and the look on his face when she passed out...He almost panicked and I could sense it in his voice. This man has already fallen in love but he is just not ready to admit it to himself yet.

Lulu had hypothermia so she wasn`t thinking clearly at this point. I think Lulu had always this naive thinking about Sonny...A lot like Kristina...I wish she wouldnt but hey he is her godfather after all. He loves her and he is there for her when her dad is not. Remember when he came to see her at SB , I thought it was very touching. At this point, maybe I am delusionall but..Remember when she defended Johnny to everyone and it turns out she was wrong to do it? Maybe, she is more careful...I got the impression she is more concerned about the consequences to thos close to Sonny if he get arrested than anythung else. Lulu knows he is in the mob but he does not show this side with the one he lvoes and is close too so...DAnte is a cop so he has less illusion about who Sonny is and what he does...I don`t think it will be a big torn in their relationship...SHe will struggle a bit but once Sonny put a hit on DAnte she will protect the man she loves...She knows after all Dante is a very good guy and she won`t let Sonny take him down

Riveting promo! I guess the "someone else watching" is Maxie, unfortunately, of all people it had to be!

I wonder what "mobster" will learn who Dante is...I see that on the spoilers here.

Lulu's reaction about Sonny is perfectly normal at this time...sure, we know he's a bad person who does bad things, but like Kristina just found out, he's a bad guy who does have good sides of him; mainly when it comes to his kids and his friends. It's like supporting a relative who does a bad thing. Sometimes we can separate the actions from the person himself or herself. That's why, for example, someone like Johnny can be blindly loyal to Claudia. It just gets maddening when you know the person is using and/or manipulating the other person that trusts them, as Claudia was so known to do with her brother. I can imagine, though Claudia would irritate him to no end, Johnny will not take her demise well. It's yet another woman he cared about obliterated from his life. I just cannot hear him say, "Well, Claudia's dead...she got what she deserved."

What would have been less difficult to hear from Sonny to Michael today would have been, not "You did good." It would have been "You did a bad thing for a good reason." But, in PC, mobsters never make that distinction!

OK.....I'm going out on a limb here by asking this question, .....Why is Maxie being inserted into the "Claudia" murder/death storyline? Are we going to get another dose of how Maxie is much stronger, more savvy, better able to handle the "mob" life and it's consequences than "fragile" Lulu? How lame that she's at Kate's house at 3am and sees Sonny and the bloody handprint on his shirt, from the next estate, all without Sonny or Michael seeing her! Is she going to help Jerk-ny and Dominic solve the Claudia mystery.....putting her in Dominic's orbit so she can make sure he realizes how weak, fragile Lulu really is? Jerk-ny did tell Dominic that Lulu "pretends" to like danger, but in the end can't handle it and is hurt very easily! Notice Spixie contact has dwindled significantly and GUZA said that these two met each other too soon and will be deciding if they need to sow some "oats"! Which I take to mean that Maxie will be sniffing around a new man soon! This is never a good sign for Lulu and her man! RINSE...RECYCLE....REPEAT!!

I realize I could be worrying for nothing.....but TIIC ruin everything by burying couples and fans under tons of angst and more angst! Like Jolu, Liason.......sometimes there's no coming back! I realize that a soap wouldn't be a soap without some angst....but this overload isn't entertaining, and gets old very quickly, IMO! Nor do I trust TIIC not to repeat/revisit Maxie deciding it's time for Lulu to have more misery by wanting and taking another man from her. Yes Dominic is different than any other man Lulu has been with....but GUZA can/will change that in a heartbeat! He thinks angst is what boosts ratings and makes for a good soap! Remember .....he doesn't/can't do ROMANCE, because he doesn't believe it exists!

Sorry but today's epi made me very uneasy....especially Lulu staying quiet depends on Dominic still taking Sonny down! Not good...not good! Inserting Maxie brings back too many bad memories! Yes, yes, yes I like them better as friends.....but how long will TIIC keep them as friends? Also Lulu doesn't need to be taken back in the direction of too much Laura! That's definitely not Lulu......She's all Spencer, please keep her that way!

Goodness the more I write the more confused and nervous I become! So I need to stop now! Sorry if I've upset anyone, that was not my intention, just needed to let these feelings out. So....what did you ladies think about today's epi? Did it seem that Jerk-ny pulled away from Olivia like he used to with Lulu? Maybe I was wrong..... BOY, Olivia is really walking a tightrope, huh? Like Claudia, her house of cards are going to tumble down around her soon too!

Speaking of Claudia.......did anyone think her hand was going to move? And she would disappear into the night?

I get nervous about the whole thing too Kat. I'm trying to be positive though and hope TIIC don't mess it up. The same comment bothered me but since she's hypothermic I am cutting her some slack. I absolutely hope they keep Lulu a firey Spencer! Poor Olivia is going to be in mess when all this comes out. She keeps getting deeper and deeper. I thought JOhnny reacted rather coldly toward her today too. No matter whether his sister was crazy or not she is the only family he had left other than crazy AZ.

Kat, with how the writers have fouled things up in the past, I don't blame you for being nervous about the insertion of Maxie into this whole mess with Claudia, which in my personal opinion, is just insane! Oh yeah, Maxie will prove she can handle mob stuff better by being totally conscious when she shoots her mouth off to Johnny about seeing the blood on Sonny's shirt, so hence, it must mean he killed Claudia...yeah right! Lulu mumbling about Dante being a cop, I can pass because the poor girl was delirious! Maxie putting her nose into where it doesn't belong without having all the facts...that is a different matter.

Yes, Maxie and Lulu have been portrayed as friends for some time and I like that better than their previous relationship...does that mean I trust Maxie...NOT A CHANCE IN YOU KNOW WHERE! Putting Maxie anywhere around Dante makes me very nervous! Johnny...hey, he can always go back to Maxie, but then after the disaster last time, would people really go for that? I guess if they wanted JoMax in the first place, they would. I don't exactly buy that Maxie cares about Lulu...the writers are going to have to show me more of that before I trust that.

I am also tired of Lulu needing to discuss her mother and father in the whole dynamic in her mother teaching her love, stability and traditional family values, while dad basically was an absentee father who took her ice fishing and instilled his love of adventure in her...Ok, we get the idea! It does not have to permeate every relationship she's in. When will the writers shut up about Luke and Laura and let Lulu make peace with her past and be who SHE is?

Johnny mentioning that Lulu says she likes danger or what have you and then saying she's not able to handle it also p*sses me off! Who died and let him decide what Lulu can and cannot handle? The only thing he got to see of Lulu not being able to handle violence was her freak out after having killed a human being and not being able to accept responsibility for it because Johnny thought he was doing the right thing by taking that responsibility away from Lulu for Logan's murder...like Sonny thinks he's doing with Michael. Taking a human life is a big whoop...for the average person. Mobsters aren't included in that. Michael seemed so affected by what he did, as he should be. Lulu was affected by what she did to Logan too...as a sane person with morals should be! I am so sick of Lulu's breakdown being used against her. It's just a further attempt to make a Laura Jr. out of her. With Lulu, it's always seemingly two steps forward, two steps back with her character and the strength she is able to show. It's there, but then the writers always seem to want to remind us she's Laura's daughter too. Why can't we have a mix of someone like Sam and Elizabeth? A strong woman who has a sense of family and also can go toe to toe with the boys too, if she has to! I guess I am asking for the moon there! On GH, we either have the fragile damsels or the strong gals. I guess Carly's the closest thing we have to a balanced mix, but people have even found her a bit boring since her pregnancy. Notice how the career gals don't often have partners? Well, they did partner Scrubs, gave Max to Diane, etc. I am sounding like a feminist here, but one cannot help but notice these patterns!

Spixie reminds me a lot of Jolu at this point...without the ugly break up. It's stallsville. We might see a quick..."Hey let's just be pals" out of this in the end, much to the dismay of Spixie fans. I just don't think those two were ever suited to each other as anything more than friends. That would leave Maxie free to be on the prowl again, wouldn't it? What about giving Maxie to Matt...where's that guy been lately? What a waste of an actor!

Oh well...nice to have each other to vent to! On that note...off to bed soon. Have a good night, everyone!

Hey LadyStar....Another awesome post! Glad to see I'm not the only that gets a case of nerves when it comes to Maxie!

OK....will we get the "opera" date for DanLu? See this would be a good way to work in a visit to his apartment, and maybe a sleep-over. Just sayin!!! Does this possible storyline remind anyone of "MOONSTRUCK" with Cher and Nicolas Cage? Loved this movie and how they got together. And Dante asked her out....something Jerk-ny never did after Sonny kidnapped him. Dante is being written as a true romantic. I would so love for Dante's grandparents to be incorporated in their storyline to further flesh out Dante! Dante taking Lulu to meet all the Falconari's for Sunday dinner, seeing how much he loves his family and they love him! GH definitely needs more family unity, drama......and not everything "mob."

Did Olivia look as though she realized that Dante is falling for Lulu today? I wonder if this might be another problem for DanLu? The mother not wanting her son dating the ex-girlfriend of the guy she's dating? Or will Olivia surprise us and become a supporter of her son and Lulu? I vote for the latter, please! Oh and how will Kate take the news of Dante and Lulu? Now that really could get interesting! Endless material for our couple....just stay clear of third-party angst!
