Skylie to answer your question, I would have felt the same JoLu or not, about Johnny paying. I didn't and still don't want him killed for his sister's lame move. My wish there was for Lulu to find out and leave him out of loyalty to Sonny and for him to work to get her back. Just as now I want her toss Dante aside out of loyalty to have him win her over.

In regards to Johnny’s punishment now…I would like him to have all the people he’s suddenly schmoozing (Carly, Morgan) tell him where to go. I’d like Lulu to get to at least give him a slap for it since she guessed the night it happened and he lied to her and built their relationship on that lie when he knew what he did. And I’d like him to get tossed out of Sonny’s organization so that he can start his own and find a story that’s not about tagging after Claudia or falling on Olivia.

LadyStarlight, I saw an immediate difference in Luke and Lucky’s relationship. It’s still bad, but I saw Lucky’s “3/4 and ¼” comment to Nik as summing JJ’s Lucky up. He knows his former hero is just a man, and is angry about it, but he also sees that Luke is worthwhile in some respects. It’s like he loves him, but wishes he didn’t. I saw them at the HS as Lucky being onto Luke because he knows all Luke’s tricks. I see Lucky’s conflict over loving a scoundrel dad he wishes he could see as a hero again. That is the real issue IMHO. Lucky wants to worship Luke again and knows he can’t. To me this makes their relationship fixable.

Whereas I saw GV’s Lucky as looking down on Luke, with no conflict or desire to love his father. He was always shouting and trying to make Luke fit the role he wanted him to be, which Luke never fit even when he was Lucky’s hero. I never got the feelign his Lucky was wise to anything and never understood Luke's wily ways. In the HS scenes I imagine he would have been shouting. This Lucky was very judgmental and controlling. To me their relationship was beyond repair.

So I do see improvement in Lucky and his vibe with Luke. I saw it on day one of JJ’s return.

Everyone is in a race to the finish to get to the party...Johnny, Olivia, Carly (Marty won't let Carly up to the party on Jax's orders...Jax is being an idiot, though I know he's trying to protect Carly in her condition.) All three of them got into the room as Sonny was speaking, so they're all there now...Carly managed to talk Marty into letting her go. Jasam are also there now too.

Sonny started his speech/twisted roast to his wife when things ended! Can't wait for the rest of it!!

Yes MAxie was the BF Lulu needed today...It`s nice to see them friends and helping each other, wow...It was so fun MAxi asking Dante about his intentions towadrs Lulu ...Like a protective sister...His face was priceless and Lulu`s too...The way he looked and smiled at her made my screen melt...Ok I think I am going to have a DAnlu meltdown...I am obsessed and I thought after Jolu I wouldn`t fall in love again with a couple...Let me tell you, DZ is AMAZING! My future hubby needs to take some classes from him..Though, he still open the doors for me...His mama thought him well...Back to today`s eppy, Dante and Lulu really got it bad for each other and it was so obvious jsut the way they stare the other one. I can`t wait for next week. OnlyGH you are so right, everyone who knows SOnny feel something is coming to hit soon

I agree with your reaction to Maxie/Lulu's scenes today to a point. It is great to see these two be friends/frienamies or whatever we want to call them. It sure beats the high school antics of one upping each other, which I don't want to see anymore.

I would be accepting of Maxie being a concerned friend and offering her thoughts on DanLu IF she were not the person who helped to mess up Lulu's last two relationships. The sisterly advice thing does not work for me under those conditions, unfortunately. One might say Maxie was used in destroying Jolu...she was, but the problem also is that she didn't mind being used. She was going through her own self destructive "I don't deserve Spin." phase as Johnny was going through his "I don't deserve Lulu" thing. So that's my beef with it all.

My larger beef? Would someone PLEASE encourage Guza and Co. to stop treating Lulu as perpetually 12, stupid and bonkers??? When does this girl get to politely say, "Hey, I love ya for caring, but everyone please BUTT OUT OF MY LIFE."

That's my whinge for the night...it just annoys me what they do to Lulu!

You ladies would die if you saw me today. I am dressed up as Dorothy for work. I have braids, a pinafore and red shoes. However my ruby slippers are red suede mules from Coach so I'm grown-up Dorothy with good shoes

Speaking of fashion, what's with the color coordination disorder on GH? Lucky and Liz matched in burgundy the other day and yesterday Carly and Lulu were both in royal blue until Lulu used her Superman booth on the way to the MC to change into another dress. Maxie's dress was puke green.

The Lulu/Maxie stuff would have been so enjoyable if they hadn't ruined it with the Johnny/Maxie stuff this spring. And Carly's advice was the same as always, "Great guy, I like him, but he's in the mob only I can date the mob so run away Lulu." I'm sure if Dante were really a mobbie in a month Carly would be sayign to some other woman, "He is a great guy, so good for you, run with it" .

Could they had drug out Sonny's toast any longer? Jeez it would have been great to end with him saying he knew and to pick up with it today. Instead we had to suffer through all that crap about those who supported him first. And I'm sure we'll get a recap of today too. Just spit it out Sonny!

Good Morning Ladies......
Well yesterday's epi was many things. Loved little M&M...the little scene stealers! Aerinha...ITA, maybe by mid-week Sonny will finally spit out that he knows Claudia put a hit on him and got Michael shot in the process. Too slow, IMO!

OK....I loved that we got more DanLu scenes, but inserting Maxie AGAIN into another Lulu relationship makes me extremely nervous and suspicious. Very lame asking Dominic what his intentions are for Lulu. Why is Lulu always the one in need of help/advice on life/men/love, and Maxie the one giving it? Please!!! She has been the ROOT of all Lulu's relationship problems! I would have liked it much better if Maxie simply said if Lulu needed/wanted to talk she would be there. Although I like them much better as friends....please don't have Lulu seem so "helpless/clueless." Maybe TIIC are doing this as a means to prove Maxie has changed and these young ladies can truly be friends instead of enemies....please. Both definitely need a friend!

Why oh why have Lulu talk to Carly about Dominic? "He's a good guy but he works for Sonny." This is the same person who gives support and is a big fan of Jolivia....uhh Jerk-ny works for Sonny too! Lulu......cousin Carly isn't a wise choice for advice! Carly's attitude was one of boredom with Lulu again, IMO! Didn't like Lulu's little girl squeal that Maxie would be there and would help either. TIIC can't seem to get it right with Lulu. I don't want a repeat of Lulu's too fragile/weak, so Carly, Lucky, Tracy, Maxie will have to manage her life. Lulu is a grown woman and a very capable woman! Give Dominic a chance or not, but do it on your own, stop seeking help from the peanut gallery, please!

Also, how are TIIC going to write Dominic out of this corner I see them pushing him into? There's considerably fallout coming from this undercover cop/Sonny's son secret. Sonny acknowledging Luke's part/friendship in his success of building his business in PC was very telling. Of course this will weigh heavy on Lulu when she learns Dominic's secret. Please, not another SB repeat.......fragile-flower Lulu! No Jolu repeat, and keep outside interference to a minimum please. Allow Lulu to handle the situation with Spencer strength and insight!

Hopefully I'm reading more into this than is necessary and getting ahead of the game so to speak.....but if there is a way to royally screw DanLu GUZA and company will find it! Concerned that we will see a repeat of "deer caught in the headlights", "the sky is falling" Lulu. As previously stated, let Lulu shine as the smart, savvy Spencer she truly is! Here's hoping Dante gets the true Lulu Spencer...the one he will admire and love, cause as was posted in the Dante/Lulu thread........look-out Lulu...for Dante the hunt is on!

Aerinha...wish I would be able to see the Dorothy costume! My hubby took me out to dinner this evening and all the servers at the restaurant were in costume! We were served by Marilyn Monroe!

I didn't get to see today yet...looking forward to it though! I did read the recaps here on the site and see Claws did take Carly hostage, as spoiled...Michael, I do think will be the one to save his mother. I've read different things such as him shooting Claudia to whacking her with a 2x4...that'd send her out with a bang!

I see, from reading GHH, that in the search for Carly, Lulu will have a near drowning episode...that is why she ends up hospitalized...not from the drugging. Now, I have read conflicting things here...one has Johnny saving her (please NOOOO!) and one has Dante saving her (that I'd like) and another has them doing a team effort...so who knows??? This must be the "life and death" thing that's supposed to bring DanLu closer and lead to his opening up about who he is.

I agree it was the same stuff, different day with Carly and Lulu on Thursday. I fear the same as Kat said...if they don't return Lulu's Spencer moxie to her, we'll basically have Jolu Part Two with DanLu and that makes me sick...starting with Lulu needing to be saved from drowning. Like I said yesterday, I am tired of Lulu, a twentysomething year old young lady being portrayed as though she's twelve, dumb as a box of rocks, stumbling all over the place, nervously bumping into people, needing to seek everyone's advice, and being "just like Laura"...complete with the potential to go bonkers at any moment because she cannot handle anything edgy...PULEEESE! That is NOT Lulu as the Labines created her!

I am not sure how Dante will get out of the corner he's being written in to? GH notoriously does this to many of its characters. My only fear is Dante joining the mob bunch, yet he seems to have too much nobility for that. He could stay a detective, which would give him edginess, yet keep him a good guy too, which is what I'd like for Lulu.

I've read Natalia Livingston is out again. Sorry for anyone who liked Rebecca, but that whole thing seemed to be a bust! They should have put a character on the canvas, such as Matt Hunter, to better use than have created the whole twin sister thing with Rebecca and had a lame story pitting the Spencer brothers together...it's just all fallen flat for me, personally.

Again, looking forward to seeing the party continuing tonight...Sonny's speech was getting a bit over the top...but, hey, it is building up to something, so I guess that's why!

Weekly: Why does Lulu team up with Dominic?
Berman: Lulu decides she's going to go [find Carly] herself, and Dominic decides to come along because he feels she's in danger of hurting herself.

Weekly: She doesn't remember she learned his true identity?
Berman: Yeah, she doesn't remember that he's a cop or that his real name is Dante Falconeri. All that's going through her mind is that no one seems to be making any progress in finding her cousin, and she feels extremely capable of doing it on her own. She is willing to put herself on the line to save her cousin's life. They choose to go to the old Zacchara mansion, because they think it's a potential place where Claudia might have taken Carly.

Weekly: The dump turns out to be a deathtrap for Lulu when she falls through the floor into the flooded basement?
Berman: The house was burned down [by Jason], so there are a lot of unsafe areas, and she stumbles on one of them and falls through. The basement is flooded a little, and the water continues to pour in.

Weekly: Is this just an inconvenience, or does Lulu fear she really could die?
Berman: It's pretty scary. Her leg is pinned, and the water's rising. As time passes and the water goes higher, she's definitely more and more scared. She starts getting colder, and she's becoming convinced that she might not make it out.

Weekly: When Dominic climbs into the water to support her, their conversation sparks her memory, right?
Berman: He's trying to keep her distracted from the danger, and it jogs her memory. She remembers his name is Dante, and then he confirms it's all true---and that his mother is, in fact, Olivia. Because she doesn't think she's going to make it, she calls him out on this secret; she really wants him to not bust Sonny. That's kind of her last request if she doesn't make it out of there; that he promise her he won't bust Sonny.

Weekly: Does she realize Sonny is his father?
Berman: No. Nobody knows. Sonny is her family friend, someone who has always looked out for her and her father. Instinctively, she knows she should protect him.

Weekly: Jerk-ny arrives with help to save the day. Is there any rivalry between those guys?
Berman: No. They both want to help, and it's pretty clear that Jerk-ny is no longer interested in Lulu.

Weekly: Does Lulu find herself drawn to Dante?
Berman: Definitely! Especially in this situation: He is staying with her, even though the water is getting colder and he could possibly suffer from hypothermia. He's really putting himself on the line for her, and his dedication to standing by her no matter what is really noble. She definitely comes out of it with more appreciation for him.

Weekly: Once Lulu is taken to the hospital, does she feel betrayed when Dante insists he still intends to take Sonny down?
Berman: No. When they're in the water he tells her that he doesn't think he can give up on this. I think he was conflicted then, and afterward SHE is conflicted. She knows his story and why he's doing what he's doing, but it's hard [to let him], because first and foremost she's loyal to Sonny. But now she has this guy that she actually cares about, and she understands his side of it, as well. It's a hard position for her to be in. She is able to warn Sonny---but to do that would endanger a person she's come to care about.

Weekly: Does Lulu care about Matt?
Berman: In Lulu's mind, I don't think either of these guys were ever in the picture, to be honest. Dominic is NOW in the picture because of this situation. She can trust him, and it's more than just flirty back-and-forth banter. There's obviously something else going on that she can value and appreciate. I don't think Matt is in the picture.

Weekly: But she can picture herself with a cop?
Berman: Yeah. I don't think it's that big of a deal. Her brother is a cop, and the only other people that seem to be available in Port Charles who are her age are mobsters. It's not like there's some aversion to the profession; cops can be just as corrupt as mobsters. She always looks to find good intentions, and I don't think it's that black or white, you know?

Kat...thanks for sharing the article. It annoys me to no end that TIIC just need to stick Johnny in the scene when it comes to saving Lulu. Jolu is done, over, finished, kaput, etc, etc...we get it!!! We don't need repeated WTH scenes to keep reminding us of this where we see Johnny reacting to Lulu with an icy demeanor! Just get him out of her orbit, keep him with Olivia or whomever and let DanLu proceed! We get that he's no longer into Lulu...as I have said many times before, this guy is in love with the idea of love and in love with whatever boosts his fragile ego...so I doubt he truly loved Lulu at all in the first place. He's right...she's better off without him. That's the smartest thing he's ever said.

Yesterday's ep was OK...It really didn't make me go WOW! The lead up to it all was more interesting. Was it me or were most of the men in the room behaving like idiots??? Jax was behaving like a real jerk...I felt sorry for Michael when he made that comment about Michael's shooting with Michael standing there. What was the point of Mac wanting to bust Jason? I guess he always wants to bust Jason. I think Jason may have wanted to take a poke at Claudia if given the chance, but he would be far more worried about getting Carly to safety at this point! Sonny was behaving like a jerk too...sorry Krissy had to see that side of her dad, but now, she's learned the hard way about him.

Claudia...Sarah played things well, but for me it was another case of a character on the way out acting completely whacky before saying goodbye...kind of like Trevor did back in February.

Pretty much know how this will all play out. Claws is a dead duck courtesy of Michael. I'd prefer that to her going away someplace and maybe coming back with a baby or stealing Carly's child. Her demise opens the door for Johnny to get dark, I suppose, since her death will leave him with no one, if the writers want to make him that way. I do see spoilers suggesting that and that it may cause problems for Jolivia...perhaps a side of him Lulu's seen before, but Olivia hasn't.

Well, off to get some things done...it's a pretty cloudy, gray day...good backdrop for the holiday!

"With Claudia gone, Jerk-ny will be unleashing his inner Zacchara," warns GUZA. "That will have major implications for his relationship with Olivia." And what of her connection to Sonny? "We're getting closer and closer to revealing the Dante secret. This is NOT something we plan to draw out for years!"

Carly and Jax continue to deal with major issues in their marriage. "Don't forget," the scribe reminds us, "Jax has another secret: He knows that Dante is Sonny's son and that he is working undercover to bring Sonny down. Carly definitely will not take it lightly once she a little happiness, however; "Romance for him is on the horizon."

The mysterious artist played by guest star James Franco--will impact the canvas, GUZA does say "he will be heavily involved with several of our characters." More importantly, he will "permanently change the relationship of one of our key couples!" But he offers up encouraging words for Jasam fans, "Jason and Sam are in it for the long haul this time," assures the scribe.

With Jonathan Jackson back on board, GH is hoping to recreate the magic that once existed between Lucky and Rebecca Herbst's Liz. "We think the nostalgia factor is only going to help strengthen this triangle," says GUZA. "Liz cheatd on Lucky with his brother and that's not going to be an easy thing to bounce back from. "Rebecca who finds out what's going on between Nikolas and Liz, will complicate things." That will have a huge impact on her relationship with Nikolas. And what of odd-man out Ethan? The Spencers will take Ethan under their wing even more. We have a story planned for him that involves many of the show's biggest players."

"What happens when you feel like you've met the person you want to spend the rest of your life with a little too early?" ponders GUZA. "That is a question Maxie and Spinelli will both have to explore. Both are in their early 20's, and this is normally a time to sow one's wild oats."
Me: Does any one smell trouble brewing for Spixie? GUZA can't leave well enough alone......especially with couples! Let's hope Maxie doesn't want to sow in Dante's direction!!!
But GUZA is such a liar...always pulling the old bait and switch....you never know what ridiculous nastiness he has up his sleeve!


Trouble For The Spencer Clan!

In the wake of last week's harrowing accident that almost claimed Lulu's life--not to mention the threat looming on the horizon in the form of a Cassadine deadlier than any they've faced before--Luke and his children may be about to face the toughest fight of their lives!

This week things get a little awkward for the family when Luke clues in to the fact that Lucky's true love, Liz, is involved with Nikolas! Combined with the knowledge that Ethan and his half sibling, Lucky, haven't exactly bonded, Luke is beginning to realize that there might be big problems ahead for his clan! "The relationship between Lucky and Ethan is a very rich one," says AG. "The good brother, the bad brother. Who is the good and who is the bad? Which will destroy the other? There's a richness in that."

Geary believes that each of his children have inherited a different personality trait from their father, that makes things interesting when any two of them are in the room together.

"Lucky carries Luke's rage and his sense of justice." It's not the same SENSE of justice, but both have an inablility to get on with things when they face something unjust."

Moving on to Luke's daughter. "I believe that Lulu has her father's courage. She has the part of Luke that would jump off a bridge and just trust that there's water below. She has his reckless optimism."

And what of Ethan, who seems most like his dad? "I believe Ethan carries Luke's treachery," admits Geary. But will Luke's wildly different children be able to work together?


Taking his traumatized son home while Jason, Max and Milo bury Claudia's body, Sonny tries to help his son deal with the inevitable emotional repercussions. "You can't kill somebody and not feel something," says Bernard. But potential problems abound, thanks to a crucial piece of evidence left behind at the scene and MAXIE getting a glimpse of something that looks awfully darn incriminating. And as Jerk-ny fears that something awful has happened to his sister, suspicious eyes look Sonny's way. "We don't talk about it, but Dante sees blood on my shirt," says Bernard. (Me: Is this the dangerously wrong impression Maxie gives Jerk-ny about Sonny's guilt? The reason he unleashes his inner Zacchara?)

Meanwhile, Jerk-ny begins fearing the worst and admits to Olivia that while he had a messed-up relationship with Claudia, the idea of his sis begging for her life and being murdered rips him apart.

And as someone close to Claudia learns her fate, it looks as if the fragile-to-begin with truce that came about between the Corinthos and Zacchara clans because of Sonny's marriage has been shattered. Will Sonny wind up paying the ultimate price for covering up a crime committed by his son?


Awesome picture of DZ and his fiancee Linda Leslie, who's gorgeous BTW, at a Children's Cancer event. Dominic is a charmer. "She was the most beautiful woman there," DZ told us after the event. "We had a great time." Is he a keeper or what? Lucky Linda!!!

Also Jerk-ny was there with his GF, Becky Silverman, who looks a lot like Dominic's GF, Linda!! Both are very lovely young ladies!

Very HOT/SEXY pic of Nathan Parsons (Ethan) on back cover. He should dress and wear his hair like this on the show! Definitely a hottie!

11/12: After being begged by Olivia to keep what she knows under wraps, Lulu finds herself facing a serious dilemma.

11/13: But it's Dominic who finds himself having to dodge a bullet.

OK....is it just me or does Joey Limbo do a good job representing mobbies? His face, hair, voice, attitude? Now he's what a mobster is all about, IMO! Read he continues to wreak havoc on everyone!

Also....with Olivia asking Lulu to keep Dante's secret, wondering if this will "bond" these two ladies in Dante's life or come back and bite one or both in the butt? Especially when Dante's parentage is outed. Hoping that Olivia sees that Lulu is a person to be admired, respected, understands why her son is crazy for her and is proud of his choice! Perhaps see a bit of herself in Lulu and won't treat her like snotty cousin Kate does! This could be an interesting storyline if done right. Then there's Jerk-ny....maybe Olivia will see things from Lulu's side and not continue the blind-praise for this a.ss! Well at least Lulu will have company keeping Dante's secret.

What will happen to Maxie for the trouble she creates for Sonny/Jason/Michael because she can't keep her mouth shut and her nose out of other people's business?

OK….I’m not sure why you ladies still think Lulu is being written as if she were still a teenager…she is most certainly not! She is being written as the 20 something adult woman that she is.

Lulu with Johnny:

One minute she wanted Logan and the next she would be running after Johnny and then back to Logan

She did not work or go to school

She lived with the Q’s

Her and Maxie enemies and always fighting

Always angst with her and Johnny…always a third party interruption

Never any fun banter between them always so serious and somber

She dressed like a 12 year old

Weak and unable to handle danger


Lulu with Dante:

She is focused on one guy….Dante

She has a career

She has her own place

Her and Maxie friends

No third party interruptions (they are able to be alone)

They have fun, flirty banter as well as seriousness between them (Dante is always finding ways to touch her, rubbing her elbow, holding her hand, pushing her hair back, rubbing her neck)

She dresses career and age appropriate

Strong and independent

I think they hit the nail on the head with this pairing and I can’t wait for more! Of course there will be angst, it wouldn’t be a soap without it.

And here endeth the tale of Claudia's misadventures in Port Charles. The mob princess went off the rails long ago, so this crash-and-burn was inevitable. But it didn't have to go down so twisted. Claudia could have been the three-dimensional antagonist Sonny needs. Instead of swooning over him after experiencing his romantic prowess, Claudia should have kicked him not only out of bed but out of town! The wonderfully talented Sarah Brown could have focused her intelligence on crafting a deadly, manipulative black widow rather than someone who was constantly trying to cover up getting a child shot in the head.
