Well, I’ve been giving this some thought on the break up and I really don’t think we will see Johnny’s hurt right now. I think he will be cold and hurtful and just walk away because remember we have to go through the Luthan testing. I don’t think they would do this great break up only to put them back right away. I think Johnny will do his thing in the mob with Claws and I think he will spend to time with Maxie…in what way….IDK, but like it or not they are friends now. Lulu, she will be crushed swearing off men, but will find herself drawn to Ethan. I think the secret Lulu finds out in who is Ethan’s father and it’s not Luke…but…? This will be the beginning of their relationship only she won’t tell anyone she knows who Ethan’s father really is and this will drive Tracy crazy.

I can’t see Claws going to Lulu for any reason let alone to help with Johnny cuz Claws hates Lulu and I can’t see that changing. Now she might ask Maxie to help since she helped with Ric and she knows Johnny trusts her.

I still have not jumped completely on the Luthan train, but they could be fun together. Ethan has a lightness about him that Johnny don’t we have enough of the uptight mobster’s with Jason and Sonny, I want a lighthearted fun kind of romance that GH use to have that’s been missing for so long.

My one hope is that TIIC charge start to mature both Lulu AND Maxie because right now they are BOTH very high schoolish and they are in their 20’s and need to be written accordingly.

I placed 4 calls: 1. Praising M&M 2. Praising Lulu’s revenge and requesting that she continue to triumph given all the crap heaped on her by Maxie for over a year and how Maxie never pays 3. Saying that M&M were good, LuThan better, JoLu vs. LuThan great, but JoLu vs. LuThan with Maxie in another orbit with Matt was outstanding and as it should be 4. Praising Lulu and JMB (liked her new found sparkle, her better clothing, seeing a woman with a healthy figure shine, vibe with Ethan a guy who shows interest in her for a change vs. a guy who lies to her and shoves her away, and the friend vibe with Matt when he picked up her lead about not being able to reach Johnny.

If they hadn’t tossed the limo thing in there I would really have just out and out enjoyed yesterday’s ep and rooted for Lulu to help Matt win Maxie over because he’d be good for her friend. Another case of “if only they had kept the quad clean”. They destroyed so much potential with JoHo being forced together. Yes removing Johnny from the mix did not make me see red, but Maxie acting put upon when she kissed Lulu’s b/f twice did make me see pink. Stupid writers!

Yesterday gave me hope Maxie might sleep with Matt. In the JoLu thread I suggested Maxie would seduce Matt and be a jerk to him after to keep him from becoming GM so she could keep dating Johnny, but those rumors about Maxie doing something out there to fix things because JoLu’s break up makes stuff start going badly for her gave me an idea for a new motivation for this scenario. In that case her goals should be to reunite JoLu and to win back Spinelli. What if she wants to prove to Spinelli and to Lulu that she’s really not after Johnny so she sleeps with Matt after Spinelli sees the JoHo kiss? In her mind that should be ok with Spinelli because he knows she’s “loose” and it’s not Johnny so that should make Spinelli happy in her twisted mind and it would help reunite JoLu because once Lulu saw Maxie was away from Johnny that’s all it should take for Lulu to take him back. Actually I could see Maxie locking JoLu in somewhere together too when her sleeping with Matt plan, as expected, fails. After all we were warned GH people would be doing some WTF things as s/l were tried. JoHo hooking up not shocking or unexpected, but M&M doing the deed now that would be a switch (sort of like Matt’s return to Maxie’s orbit out of nowhere this week.)

It didn’t occur to me that the LuThan date was to set up Johnny’s jealousy because I was focused on the break up (which I think will start about the loss of the paycheck and go into Lulu asking if it’s really the check he’ll miss or his time with Maxie), but wouldn’t it be interesting if Johnny was told Lulu had a date today, they broke up Friday and then at the end of Friday’s ep he saw her kissing Ethan? What a great twist that would be. Talk about turning things around! It would go from Lulu winning at Crimson, having it cost her Johnny, to Johnny finding out he wasn’t the only one with a secret attraction so he got his own slap in the face. I like that idea very much.

Besides Lulu and Ethan, not much else is set in stone with the younger set. Maxie and Spin continue their dance only the roles are reversed. Johnny is pulled into Claudia's mess. Winnie is gone soon.

Thanks for directing me to this thread Skylie. It was getting hard to write how I really feel in the other one.

I enjoyed yesterday's show, even the Ethan scenes were somewhat tolerable. Still can't see him with Lulu though.

I have to admit, I have NOT missed Johnny on my screen all that much lately either. (1) I hate him with Maxie…enough said there! (2) I’ve hated the way he can barely look at Lulu and I’m sick of the nasty looks and comments he’s been giving her! (3) I am sooooooo sick of the forehead kiss til I could just puke! (4) I’m sick of all the lying coming out of his mouth!

I would feel bad for BB if he did get the boot, but I really don’t think that will happen. Although, that seems to be the pattern with GH…a character don’t work…kill them off! OH…and them bring them back as a ghost or as another character….original Huh?????

Aerinha, I would much prefer Lulu with Matt! They have a good vibe together, and he's a doctor with an edge! Lulu deserves someone of that caliber, not a con man whose specialty is picking pockets!
