Ah the book..... . Well I've had 4 rejections (which comes with the biz so no skin off my nose), 2 agents are reading portions of by manuscript (although I gave one a 2 week exclusive almost 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a word which just burns my toast because I sent them a SASE to be rejected by so if they can't call or email why not use my SASE?). I don't mind the rejections it's the "no news is bad news and all the news you're getting" a lot of them have.

However I have been looking into self-publication because I vowed I would have this published. Came up with some self-marketing strategies too while I wait on all my queries to answer back. The book would be listed with a big name online book retailer (starts with an A) too so if I go that route I'm basically ready to go.

The karaoke thing was cute, for anyone who didn't see it...Lulu, Maxie, Rebecca and Liz did their impression of the Pussycat Dolls and sang their song, "Don't Cha." Lulu...I totally agree with people who say she is looking lovely these days. When she got up on the bar to do her thing, I thought, "Why the heck was this girl playing Ugly Betty to Maximista all those months?? There was no need for that. Lulu can be a knockout!"

I surmise from the gist of the Jolivia conversation today that it's understood that they're nothing more than a fun romp of the moment...it's not going anywhere. I sort of saw Johnny as saying he's not really capable of more than that...and let's face it, he isn't! I think Dante summed Johnny up best when he said to Sonny (when he was trying to get Sonny to give him a job) that Johnny never really gave a toss about the business. He was too busy raising he!!, as Dante said, and that's true. Claws got shipped off to Milan, so really neither of the Ziblings know jack about how to run a mob biz...which is why they stink to high heaven at it!

I thought Johnny calling Sonny a jerk in conversation with Olivia was a bit much...pot calling the kettle black there. Yes, Sonny can be an egostical jerk, but Johnny won't win any boyfriend of the year prizes! I also think he has no business mentioning what lies can do to a relationship...he lied his a$$ off in his last relationship. He wouldn't know truth or honesty if it bit him on the butt...he doesn't care to know. That is the whole dynamic of Johnny that has changed since he went from tortured soul mob prince with a spark of goodness in him back when we first met him and he met Lulu...that guy is dead and the real Johnny, the spoiled, catered to mob prince who never had to lift a finger, take responsibility for his actions or had to care about anything (including people), is what we're seeing now...maybe that's because it is who he genuinely is...like it or not. To that end, I can see why a lot of former Jolu fans...including myself...would never want him with Lulu again. He's always going to hurt women he gets involved with...he never wishes to go to a deep enough level where a relationship can be established honestly and openly. Of course not...that involves feelings, that involves sharing, that involves honesty, etc. Sometimes sharing those things isn't always pretty or pleasant and when it's not pretty or pleasant, my guess is that Johnny's basically outta there when it comes to relationships. That's why he couldn't handle being there for Lulu with her breakdown, that's why he could never be straight with her and he treated her like an object needing to be bubble wrapped and not a woman or his partner in love. Just the same, when things get sticky with Olivia carrying a torch for Sonny...will he handle that well? NO WAY! Eventually, he may use that as an excuse to go sniffing elsewhere. As long as everything is all sex and fun, Johnny enjoys playing with his toys. When that's not the case, he drops them. Another thing about those Ziblings is that they both pout when they realize they aren't top dog! Johnny's done it when he had an issue with Logan and now he's doing it again with Sonny. Claudia pulls the same garbage with Sonny. Guess what Zs? Roses do not fly out of your butts when you go to the bathroom! Sometimes I think Claudia and Johnny think they are more important than they are. I suppose that is typical mob prince/princess behavior. "My daddy can have you eliminated with one phone call!" BIG DEAL!

Jolivia had a short scene and maybe I read a lot into it, but I thought it said a lot about Johnny Zacharra. Unless he grows up one day or undergoes a major overhaul...any woman he is with better be prepared to deal with a lot of BS. His sister doesn't run his life? OF COURSE SHE DOES! I laughed when he said that! He's as disillusioned about that as Claudia is thinking that she's somehow important to Sonny simply because she's got a ring on her finger and a bun in the oven. Got news for you, sweetheart, your bags would be packed if Sonny learned he isn't the baby's father...what's more, if he learned she set up the hit that got Michael shot, Claws would be taking a dirt nap! Those Ziblings...they are an arrogant bunch (Lulu told Johnny he was arrogant once...boy, was she on the mark! He is!) and they think they are invincible!

Interesting to see Daddy Z today. He was playing the poor old downtrodden man who will "probably die in prison" but he's nothing of the kind. I am sure he's pulling some strings!

The look on Steve Burton's face today when Sam came dressed in her PI attire...priceless! Steve sometimes never has to say a word, but he can give a certain look that's hillarious!

To me, Solivia's just as hot as Jolivia...cue the jungle drum music...same music they've used for Jolivia scenes! Yes, I think Olivia wants to...even if she denies it!

Today was enjoyable...a few laughs here and there.

Long time no talk. Well I loved the Karaoke sceme today. I found that Lulu was hot and that girl is beautiful...No need for her to be a doormat for Maxi, she needs her own SL and life away form the MaxiShista. Now, Jerkny looks immature and I hope he gets burn with Olivia...This is what he deserves no less. He needs to get a reality check...He always does CLaudia lttle dirty laundry when she calls...I like Dante, he is growing on me. I hope he is an FBI agent there to take down the Z,s...I hope fireworks are there between h8im and L:ulu.Dante would be angry to see his mom doing the deed with his new GF ex...Plus, when he learns how Jerkny treated Lulu, I wish he is angry to give a foot in the...Of Jerkny.Payback would be good and Jerkny would get what he deserves...Lulu deserves man who defends her honor and put her first.

OK....let me start by saying I LOVED Lulu today....OMGosh she was so into singing and she looked great!!! I even liked Maxie....Hmmmmm....imagine that! They all were just too cute today. THAT was sooooo fun to watch.

Why-oh-why are they ruining Olivia (for me anyway) for Sonny? Why must that man get every woman in town?

LS.... I think you may be right in saying this IS the REAL Johnny....the Jolu Johnny I think tried to be someone he wasn't and now he is being true to himself. I don't think he knows how to love...I don't think he wants to know. He said it all when he said "I got no tolerance for the lies people tell THEMSELVES when they THINK they're in love" and his remark about being straight that "you wouldn't believe all the mental convolutions woman go through". Was he referring to Lulu being difficult? I think Johnny likes Olivia, but as fun and sex nothing more. I don't think he wants any more than that from any woman. Maybe when he meets the right one he will find out what love really is...who knows. I just hate to see Olivia being wasted on Sonny!

Jason...the look on his face today with Sam was priceless....I loved it.

All-in-all, I thought today's show was good and I enjoyed it.

The only reason I can think of for them making Lulu into a freak for all those months was that the original story (as hinted by Johnny chiding Luke for the Tracy/Laura thing) was going to be stylish Maxie and her "fun" (I don't know what's fun about her she whines and criticizes everyone I would not want to spend 5 seconds in her company) vs. homebody Lulu and her down to earth style (however Lulu was never a homebody because she never had a home once Luke dumped her and Laura went nuts). The idea to put Lulu in competition with Maxie for any guy right after Logan was a bad idea, making it the anti-Logan who she only met because of Maxie being an EOH was a million times worse.

And while making Lulu breezy and "who cares" was a good idea to move her onto the next guy, who seemed to be Ethan, they followed it up with nothign at all for her so it was like her "who cares" was really "I lost Johnny my life is over except for when I put on a brave face for the world" IMHO. I really wanted to see her fall into her next story, with her next guy, and be taken off guard by falling for Ethan, but we know where that went.

I said this yesterday, but having Helena take Lulu would have been perfect. Everyone would have thought she left town to like her wounds, Maxie would have been stuck with all the work and all the rent , and Lulu could have done a daring Spencer escape to free herself and maybe hooked up with a hot Cassadine guy to come home with.

Not that I was into it, but what happened to the big Kate mystery? They proved it was Kate, forgot it for weeks, suddenly there was blackmail and now it's forgotten again. Either solve it or forget it, but stop tossing it in there once a month.

Did you watch yesterday’s show? I loved it I loved Lulu and the girls singing. I loved the look on Jason’s face when Sam took her coat off. I’m liking Dante more and more. I hope he turns out to be a FED.

The only down part (for me) was Olivia and Sonny. I don’t like the fact that they are changing the history (again) between Sonny and Kate/Connie. I also don’t like they are giving him another woman….good grief. What does he have that lures all these women in? I want to know cause I want some (for men that is…LOL).

Johnny….again…I think he is being the REAL Johnny. The one who doesn’t want to be in a relationship. I think he likes just having fun and of course sex, but there are no emotional ties that come with that. That’s what I got out of his little speech with Olivia. No jealousy….no commitments….just I really like you….I like having sex with you…..I like spending time with you….but hey….if you want to go to Sonny….go ahead…..I will find someone else to take your place for my needs.

I'm liking Dante and I liked him with Sonny today. I can't wait for them to find out they are father and son. I'm really hoping that he turns our to be a FED....now that would be good!

Olivia....OH yeah....she still has it for Sonny....BUT....does Sonny really have it for her...OR...is he looking for another conquest or does he just want what Johnny has? Hmmmmmmm.....

Sonny has always been the type that he may not want you, but don't let anyone else come sniffing around you because you are Sonny's property.

I read over at the DD that Jolivia will continue that Sonny and Claws will stay together...don't know how true but I thought I would pass along.

Spixie....well....I just wish they would put Maxie with Matt...sorry...JMO.

Jason and Sam were cute together too (and I am a Liason fan)but I've always liked Sam so....

The DD seems like a battle ground between the JaSamers and the Liason's...I can stay neutral on this one. I would love to see Liason, but only if they wrote for them not the sneeking around version we had. I do like the chem between JaSam too.

So Claws is the one to loose her baby? Well...I know this doesn't sound nice, but it could happen to a better person. Some how I don't see Claws as maternal in any way.

I'm with Skylie on the Liason/JaSam issue, I prefer Liason if it's a story, but don't really care. I'd just like Jason to have a story besides, "Yes Sonny." But I don't think it matters who Jason is with because good old Guza is writing it and we all know that means push/pull, forgotten, over, did I know you? Given the break up they gave JaSam I don't know why either of them would want the other back, sort of like JoLu. Can't they give any couple a decent end so a reunion doesn't mean someone has had to have lost some brain cells?

Dante just seems flat to me. Nothing against the actor, but the character has no appeal to me. Johnny I was into in 2 eps. Ethan in about 3. But Dante...eh. Maybe if I saw him with someone who was not Olivia or Claudia or Kristina, but an established character played by an actor I was a fan of.

Ethan continuing to get more swarmy and creepy while NotEmily is scamming Edward for money because Ethan's put the pressure on her to deliver some cash. This supposedly will result in Not Emily moving into the Q's. With Michael there, I hope they have plenty of bathrooms in the mansion. It's growing quite crowded with little strangers in there! Zzzzzzzzzzzz! Let me get this straight...rich millionaire will give you some cash with the condition you move into the house??? Gee...that's like winning the lottery! When would this really happen???

Maxie getting a proposal, and in just my opinion, Spin being made to look even more pathetic in the process! Oh of course, we had to have Maxie meet Dante...she's got to meet every new male who enters PC. I hated Dante's comment to Spin, "So the blonde is yours???" Like we should be shocked that someone like Spin could actually get a girlfriend like Maxie?? PLEASE! She's NOT a Victoria's Secret model and he's not a grotesque looking monster! So he's not model material! So what???

Another disgusting Zibling scene...Johnny's being supportive of Claudia again...Oh yeah, his sister doesn't run his life according to him. I still see this as a product of the writers thinking "Well, Julie's been away filming a movie and we're not sure if she's staying, so let's just plop her in a few stupid scenes here and there." If it's not that, they sure aren't making it attractive for JMB to stay.

I'd like to say I am liking Dante, but I cannot...I just cannot get into him for some reason. I'd only like it if he were a Fed to bring the Z's down...that might be the only way I'd even like him with Lulu, if things ever go that direction. He could end up with Claudia for all we know!

We've been getting a little more love in the afternoon lately, but it's been a really boring summer thus far. With GH's ratings where they are now, if I were TPTB, I'd be afraid...very afraid!

OK....I don't think Spixie will last (JMO). I think they are/will work Matt in there for angst. No I do not think they will revisit JoMax.

I also don't think they are doing Sonny/Olivia either. Sonny will more than likely be PO'd when he finds out Olivia has kept his son from him all those years and they may at some point bond, but love....I don't think so.

Claws....I just cannot feel one bit sorry for her. All he poor me, it's all about the baby and where does that leave me....UGH...Claws...you should have thought about that before you got pregnant.

Lulu/Maxie....I really hope they will keep them on the road to frienship. It's so much more fun to watch when they are getting along than when they are screeching at one another. I thought they were cute today.

I saw Gh today...
Spin is soooo gonna get hurt again...I can see it on the wall man...it isn't gonna be pretty. I still can't believe he proposed...to Maxie no less. I have liked Maxie's scenes a bit more lately...less screeching and at least he seems to have her whole attention rather than her dividing her attention between him and JZ or someone else. I don't think they will last as a couple cause they have no heat...no fire...they are sweet but....just no sexual chemistry...at least not to me. I have to say one thing though....I found the comment from Dante about Maxie being Spin's girl to b e insulting. To me this is again another example of the fact that most writers on this show are male. I guess they didn't get the memo that it isn't always about how hot someone is on the outside....sometimes they can be hot on the inside...
I am liking Dante...he is bold, brash, funny, smart a$$ed, and really cute. He definately looks the part of Sonny and Olivia's kid.Great job to the casting crew!!!!Kudos....and I don't give kudos lightly.

Jason and Sam interaction....it was funny but I really am getting tired of the plot points that have her in either lingerie or some other form of skimpy clothes.....HELLLO!!!???? Most of the viewers are women....HELLLLLO!!!!????? We would much rather see skirtless men than Sam in stripper clothes. Is it just me or does it seem odd that since most of the viewers are women they give us scantily clad women to look at instead of men...
knock....knock.....knock....Hello writers....you are not writing for yourself....you are writing for us....an audience of mostly women and we would like to see more shirtless men and have Sam keep her clothes on! I am not a prude by any stretch and she is a great looking woman but I would rather have gotten a peek at Jason, Johnny, Dante or Sonny shirtless....JMHO!
Back to Gh....some bright spots lately...Is it just me or is Claws being written as kind of having fallen for Sonny? I think she is starting to have feelings for him....

Johnny's conversation with Olivia...I think this whole thing with Olivia is a fling to him...in the beginning he seemed to have fallen for her but now we see that romance is just a game for him....he likes the sex, the food and the warm body but no attachment. I think this was a steamy thing to do over the summer and that he will need a new girl this fall ...please no...don't let it be Lulu. I just don't think I could swallow it again after they way they have been handled post break up.
Speaking of Lulu....is she staying or is she going? Whe are we going to get another story for her? Maxie and Spin plus the bumbling corinthos kids is not how I choose to spend my summer....oh and let's not forget the stripper heels. Honestly, and don't throw stones, I'd rather see Ethan with Maxie then wasted on this stupid fake Emily nonsense. At least if he was with mankiller Maxie he'd be in an orbit with Lulu and characters who are not Rebecca or Nikolas. I've never been a big Nik fan (always found him dull) except for when he was with teenaged Liz after Lucky "died". I saw sparks that were ignored. I wouldn't mind seeing them together now, except that Nik no longer has a story. Back then he had Stefan and Helena and a nastier Alexis all running around, and as much as I hated GH being all about Cassadine machinations that went nowhere back then, at least Nik had a family and had some sort of brains beyond being a dupe. They are really missing a chance to explore the Cassadine obsessive gene, just like they missed it with Johnny. Helena had that big entrance for....can anyone tell me the point of her entrance at GH on the monitors that went nowhere?

Claudia falling for Sonny. They seemed to be going that route until they inserted Ric in for smarm and after that I lost what little interest I had in Slaudia. I was interested in Solivia, but now that they've turned her into another Guza doormat female I don't see her and Sonny arguing and butting heads to be a tension couple. I like a good banter couple, I like good dialogue and for me attraction my start with hormones but it is carried by the brain after 5 seconds of and so far no couple on GH has any wit behind it. Can't they give us a good sparring pair ala Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte in I Love Trouble?
