For the record my dislike of Olivia and Maxie is not sour grapes. I have always hated Maxie for the very fact that she does awful things and always has someone saying poor her instead of getting hit by the bus she deserves. You can't love to hate someone who never has to occassionally pay a price for being bad. My true anger there came from how she treated doormat Spinelli to kiss Johnny and how Johnny, Mr. Trust Me, turned into a cheat.

My dislike for Olivia started long before she hooked up with Johnny. I started to dislike her when she put her nose in everyone's business like she was a life expert. I never said LLC was middle-aged, I said Olivia who has to be in her 40s to have been in school with Sonny who is 45 is middled-aged and with the average life span being 75-90 that is right in the middle . I was not commenting on her appearance with that statement, I was commenting on how someone of that age should have some emotional maturity not to fall on a 20 something guy to relive a relationship she ran away from in her teens while turning a blind eye to what he does after spouting all that crap about staying away to the mob to anyone she met.

I have no issues with an age difference in general, but that her son is Johnny's age makes it icky for me. That's MHO no one has to share it. If my mom dated a guy my age I would object as she would object if I dated a man her age.

In fact, I don't like Johnny either as this is not the crazy guy I met 1.5 years ago, but a cheating, lying jerk who blames Lulu for choices he made. And because I no longer find Johnny attractive I can't be behind any pairing he is in because I don't like him. I have to like a guy to be into him and I don't like this Johnny. They could put him with my beloved Brenda and I'd still dislike him.

My original post was a sarcastic comment on how Olivia, 25 years later, is now bullet proof when as a teen she was not. That suddenly she wants the mob and can "handle" it because....well the only thing that changed is her age so it must be it. She's in her 40s so now it's ok when it wasn't when she was a teen.

I can't stand the hypocrisy of it any more than I could stand Maxie yapping about Lulu's relationship like her uniformed cold hearted self had a clue and telling Lulu she was insecure and paranoid while hanging on Johnny and kissing him. I hate Maxie. I don't care who she is with. I will always want misery for her character for all the vile things she has done. I don't talk about her because she is thankfully barely on and when she is, she is in scenes away from characters I like so I don't have to listen to her screeching anymore.

As for Olivia whatever. Another "I'll do anything you want" woman written by Guza.

Former JoLu fan or not, I rooted to see Lulu with Ethan and I'd try her with Dante before deciding so my dislike of pairings has nothing to do with bitterness over my former couple ending. It has to do with bad writing.

Quote onlygh: I'm on the fence regarding the prospect of DanLu. However, I found myself thinking yesterday that Dante and Lulu are similar in nature. Dante has that "Screw You Lulu" quality to him in that he's snarky and a bit of a wise a$$ but ultimately kind-hearted and empathetic in nature. I could see the two of them really hitting it off. I am very eager now (having seen him shirtless...very very nice) to see him in a romantic scene.

I can't wait for an interaction with Lulu and Dante. You are right only they are kind of alike!
I think DZ will do his part in a love scene, he seems like an actor that doesn't hold back. I just hope that the love scene is not with Claudia

Hi Everyone,

Aerinha, I am so with you on what you said in your post! My likes/dislikes in what I said earlier are not the product of sour grapes, it's my dislike of how things were handled with the characters involved, the storylines, etc...and there's one common denominator behind all that; the writers!

Wow...they are really playing up this karaoke thing! I assume it will be tomorrow. I'm sorry I won't be able to watch live, as it does seem like it'll be fun!

Just my personal observation, but it seems that Spixie will go down in the direction of Jolu...they want to be together, they are good together (or at least started out to be), but the one partner's heart just isn't in it and the relationship is making them be something they just aren't prepared to be. While I don't agree with the Maxie fans who like her because she ALWAYS owns up to what she does (I just feel she makes far more excuses for what she does, rather than own up.) I think she is thinking that Spin is just too noble and good of a person for her. She does acknowledge that she's NOT a good person. Try as she might to be a good partner for Spin, he will always end up getting hurt in the end...just like Lulu always ended up being last on the list for Johnny and he ended up hurting her. I do believe Spin will propose to Maxie and I think she'll say no and that she likes things as they are...just an impression. If that does happen, it could make or break Spixie.

Maxie could work with Matt...the dealing with having the "perfect sibling" thing between them today could be a starting point. Maxie always felt she could never measure up to Georgie and Matt, I think, feels the same way about Patrick, at least when it comes to their skills in the OR.

Ethan is a very good example of how the writers can really change a character...and not for the better! He was a refreshing scamp at first (the pickpocketing was a bit overdone after a while, but he was fun to watch) and now he's this dark, slightly eerie kind of guy lurking in the shadows who has his mind on the money and his money on the mind...nothing else. What a way to creep out a character!

I also think Tyler and Steve are being wasted as actors with their characters. They've turned Nik into a Bruce Wayne knock off...complete with the butler named Alfred. Just where the heck is Spencer, by the way? If Molly, Morgan, Kristina and Michael have been aged, I would think he'd also need to be aged at some point, if we ever see the kid again. I find the scenes with Jason/Spin and Maxie funny...the look on Steve's face in those scenes is priceless! Does someone have an aspirin for this man??? I guess Jason won't be joining the karaoke at Jakes, as he's been sent to the PC pokey for the zillionth time!

I chuckled when I saw the ad for the soap mag today...they dropped something about Steve and Julie leaving. I never believe what I see on the SID mags...someone's always dying or leaving. So much for those "General Hospital Shockers!"

Oh well...at least I didn't have to see Claudia today and I didn't have to see Sonny having a fit about Jolivia! Having a lighthearted moment with the karaoke is just what is needed at GH...nice to see everyone smiling and having fun! Give the mobsters and the negative stuff a holiday!

Hypocrisy is something that's rampant at GH, and it does stink! That, and completely blowing the GH past to shreds, as they've done with making Luke a cheater on Laura, for example, is just terrible. I think back to something I read somewhere which commented on how it always seems that most of the characters who do bad things never actually pay for what they've done...and that's quite true. Jason keeps getting off for knocking fellow mobsters off, Claudia keeps getting a reprieve for having caused a young man to get a bullet in his head...as the piece I read said, there's always an excuse...."My parents didn't love me, I had a bad day from heck and went ape, I have post partum depression, I have a hang nail." Sounds a lot like real life can be sometimes...there's always an underlying excuse for why someone does something bad. No one seems to be permitted to just do something wrong!

Hope everyone had a good day!

LS and Aerinha....

I loved both of your posts and you both make very good points! And yes I do think this thread is respectful to each others opinions because we do see things differently and we do like different characters. I do think it's fun to come in here to read what people think about a scene that you may have seen one way, but someone else saw it another way.

Aerinha...like you...I can not stand Maxie (as I said MOST of the time) although there have been rare moments that she has been entertaining to watch i.e. the spa scenes with Lulu and Spin I thought were cute. With that said, when she is being just plain mean to people like accusing Lulu of being selfish...this is when again...I just wnat to tape her mouth shut because SHE is the most self serving person on the show. And then there's Claws...who I HATE! That will NEVER change.

OH and I have been know to called JoMax...JoHo. Lets face it Maxie is the town tramp and she's even admitted that herself. I could like her if they would pair her with someone that would have that "heat" factor going...like Matt. Her and Johnny did NOT have that and I'm not saying that because I am a former Jolu fan...if they had "it" I would admit it...but IMO...they did not! Do I think Jolivia have "it" yes...I do. I know it won't last, but maybe they will find someone for Johnny that works....I would like to see him and Sam together in some scenes.

I know there is a Liason vs. Jasam war, but WOW it looks like they might try Liz and Nik. Not sure if they are going back to Jasam or not.

From SID:

Does Sonny Love Olivia

As he waits to find out whether he is the father of Claudia’s baby, GH’s Sonny infuriates his wife by getting closer to Olivia. Is he playing a game or truly drawn to the woman who is keeping the mother of all secrets?
The In Depth Story: Pushing Sonny away after a heated kiss, Olivia goes to Dante and tells the young man to get out of town…ASAP! Having suspected for weeks that Olivia is after Sonny, Claudia is furious to discover lipstick on her husband’s cheek!! Natch, she reminds him that she’s carrying his child…probably
But Claudia’s not the only one upset about the buss: When Johnny finds out, he’s pretty peeved, too!! Pushing his brother-in-law’s buttons, Sonny declares that he’s the one Olivia wants! Conviently, Olivia enters just then and tells her boy toy not to listen to a work Sonny says. But can her own hear take that advice? And how does Claudia, who doesn’t want Olivia involved with her husband or brother, factor into the mix?
“Olivia recognizes that Claudia has at her disposal an army of killers and is enough of a loose cannon to use them” says her portrayer LLC with a laugh. “Claudia would have no problem picking up a phone and saying Hey, dump this b!tch in the harbor.” But what Claudia doesn’t know could hurt her in the long run. Because just as she assumes that her unborn child will protect her from Sonny, Olivia’s fully grown son could wind up bonding her to the mobster! Which means that in the end, it might just come down to which women’s secret – truth about Claudia’s involvement in Michael’s shooting or the son Olivia’s kept hidden from him for years – is brought to light first.

Just dropping in to say good night to all.

I'm sick of this karoke thing already. I could see it when karoke was the hot thing, but it's not anymore so why are they doing this? If they want the cast to sing, why not have done a funny July 4th episode where Jason fell asleep and woke up in a musical version of PC. That used to be the sort of thing they did on holidays instead of reruns.

Hello ladies....

Hey, I found this article and thought I would post....very interesting to say the least!

General Hospital Ratings Decline to a New Low

ABC Daytime TV Rejects Viewers' Requests for Greater Integrity and Less Sleaze

As reported by the A.C. Nielsen Ratings Corporation for the week ending June 26, 2009, ratings for General Hospital (GH) fell yet again to a new record low. GH lost more viewers vs. last year than any other soap opera, while other soap operas like the Young & the Restless (Y&R) and Days of Our Lives (DOOL) gained viewers vs. last year.

GH has become a shell of its former self in the all-important women 18-49 demographic, which is highly valued by advertisers. For the corresponding week in 2008, GH ranked #1 in the women 18-34 demographic and was a very close second to Y&R in the women 18-49 demographic (Y&R had 1,024,000 viewers vs. 985,000 viewers for GH), while DOOL was a distant third in the rankings with 729,000 viewers. Versus last year, GH has dropped 27% in the women 18-49 demographic and 33% in the women 18-34 demographic. GH is now a distant third to both Y&R and DOOL (by 273,000 viewers and 80,000 viewers, respectively in the 18-49 demographic) in these two important demographics.

For months viewers have been begging GH to write character-driven story lines, maintain historical integrity, and write less sleaze and more romance. However, ABC Daytime TV continues to deliver stories that focus on the complete opposite--plot-points and more sleaze.

The week prior (June 15- 19, 2009), GH ended Friday's episode with more rough/hate sex between Sonny and Claudia. That "cliffhanger Friday" garnered a low 1.8 rating. The following Monday (June 22, 2009), GH resumed the show with the rough/hate sex between Sonny and Claudia. That scene helped that episode of GH drop to a 1.7 rating.

Compare those ratings to the romantic comedy scenes between Sonny and Kate when Kate took the wrong pill out of Warren's coat pocket and ended up conversing with Sonny about Bensonhurst and Coney Island, finally resulting in her pulling Sonny into a kiss. That "cliffhanger Friday" (July 20, 2007) drew a 2.5 rating with 3,392,000 viewers. The following Monday (July 23, 2007), the scene resumed and led to several more romantic comedy scenes resulting in them having sex, helping that episode spike to a 2.7 rating with 3,613,000 viewers!

Notably, on a "cliffhanger Friday" (September 12, 2008), an angst filled discussion led to an almost love scene with Jason and Elizabeth. That episode garnered a 2.4 rating. That scene carried over to the following Monday (September 15, 2008), helping that episode earn an even higher 2.5 rating! Though the scenes were angst-ridden, many viewers had an emotional investment in the romance between these two characters. Obviously, viewers prefer romantic comedy, love and romance to the hate and anger sex that is currently being so highly promoted.

Viewers watch soaps because they are part of a unique genre, one that allows viewers to get to know the characters on a daily basis. Unlike nighttime dramas, or even sitcoms that are televised once a week, soap operas air daily, allowing viewers to become intimately familiar with the characters and their behaviors, personalities, relationships and characteristics over the years that they are watched. When the core of a character, or his or her behavior, is suddenly shifted to a polar opposite, the inconsistency is immediately noticed. Many fans of soap operas have watched since they were much younger, often as long as 20-30 years, therefore, when the integrity of a character is diminished due to inconsistent writing and skewed behaviors, it is immediately recognized. GH's current ratings suggest that viewers are unhappy with the blatant character disintegration and assassination taking place to characters they feel as close to as members of their own families.

When the history of characters and storylines has to be manipulated to tell a new story or make it plausible, then it is not a story that should be told. Viewers of GH, as well as other soap operas, understand that surprises about a character's history will be revealed to garner interest in a storyline. They understand that, sometimes, those surprises change the way one feels about the character or his or her current behavior. However, the current viewers of GH have been subjected to too many rewrites of long- and short-term history to accommodate the acceptance of the vile, immoral characters and/or the new characters being introduced.

Recently the character of Ethan has been added to the canvas and has damaged the historical integrity of the iconic soap couples Luke and Laura and Robert and Holly. Long-time viewers know that Ethan's conception by Luke and Holly does not fit into the timeline of the stories that were presented back then. Additionally it completely disrespects the most highly rated episode in daytime history by reducing the love Luke had for Laura by his casual admission to the affair with Holly that led to Ethan's birth.

The rewrite that Alexis slept with the mayor the night she saw Ric and Sam having sex to accommodate a murder mystery for the mayor and his wife does not fit with the timeline of that evening. It is impossible for her to have seen them having sex, leave with Jason to go to the hospital because she was in the throws of lung cancer, go to the Metro Court and be with Sonny and Kristina while eating ice cream during the blackout, then take Kristina back to their hotel room. It simply is not possible or plausible and the viewers know it.

The character of Olivia has damaged the historical integrity of the backstory of Sonny as well as the backstory of Sonny and Kate. When Olivia was first introduced to the canvas, her story seemed to change anywhere from every three days to every several weeks, causing viewers (and it seemed, even the characters) to be confused about her role in Sonny's and Kate's lives. The writers keep trying to make Olivia sound more important to Sonny with each rewrite, though it had been drilled into viewers' heads for a year-and-a-half that Connie/Kate was Sonny's first love and the one he focused his attention on. Even Olivia stated when she first arrived in town that "he was all about Connie back then." (To see commercials that promote Sonny being uncharacteristically jealous of Olivia being with Johnny during the week of these all-time low ratings was a turn-off for many fans.)

Having Elizabeth Webber recently apologize to Lucky Spencer for 'cheating' on him during the night she found him sleeping in their bed, in their apartment, with Maxie Jones completely disputes the months of conversations she had with Lucky, Jason, Sam, Audrey, and even Emily about what happened that evening. She repeatedly told everyone that she believed her marriage was over and that she had no regrets for what ultimately had happened that night between her and Jason (and therefore did not need to apologize for cheating on Lucky).

Jason Morgan's character has always been steadfastly clear when it came to those who betrayed him or those he loved. When Robin told AJ about Michael being his son, Jason couldn't forgive her for years. When Ric almost killed Elizabeth and then kidnapped Carly, he never forgave him and has, in fact, harbored an intense hatred for him. When he found out Sam had purposely slept with Ric, he was devastated and, when later he found out she watched his son being kidnapped and then hired men to hold guns on Elizabeth and the boys in the park, he actually threatened her life. To now, merely months later, have him working with her and considering her a friend, goes completely against Jason Morgan's history. Long-time viewers and fans cannot reconcile the completely contradictory behavior with the character.

Additional illustrations of the desecration of historical integrity include the addition of Rebecca as Emily's twin, the introduction of Logan as Scott Baldwin's son, and the illogical revelation that Diego Alcazar was the text message killer. The overly used method of simply rewriting history to make a storyline's direction more plausible is anything but plausible to the viewers and fans of GH.

All of these characters, aside from those who have been killed off, were on-screen the week of June 22-26, 2009. These characters or storylines have become symbols to many viewers of the lack of integrity in the writing, and lack of respect for the show's history and for the viewers themselves who are invested in that history. Every time these characters are on-screen, viewers are reminded that GH does not value its history or its viewers. Is it any wonder that viewers are tuning out?

Many viewers who have stopped or reduced their viewing of GH are wondering when ABC/Disney is going to recognize that it is in the business of supplying a product for its customers' enjoyment and the importance of those loyal customers. Viewers have been voicing their concerns about GH by calling the ABC and GH comment lines, e-mailing the ABC/Disney executives, writing letters, filling out ABC comment forms, voting in polls in ABC Soaps in Depth (an ABC publication), and posting on ABC Insider Access (an ABC/Disney affiliated message board), yet these writing issues have been allowed to continue. Why is ABC/Disney allowing an inferior product to continue to be produced and shown on-air?

Many fans of GH are now joining together with fans of Sonny and Kate, Jason and Elizabeth, Patrick and Robin, and Jax and Carly as part of the SOS/Save Our Soap! General Hospital Campaign. All share in a common goal of asking ABC/Disney to listen to the viewers and make changes. The number of fans joining the SOS/Save Our Soap! General Hospital Campaign continues to grow every week in support of working for a better General Hospital. For more information on the campaign, contact Dana L. Meyer or Kecia K. Picard at saveoursoapgh@gmail.com or visit the SOS/Save Our Soap! General Hospital page on Facebook.

HMMMMMMMM.....

I guess everyone is out enjoying the beautiful weather today.....kind of slow here.

Well, I kind of liked today's show. I liked seeing AZ. I liked Jason/Diane/Alexis scenes. Scrubs singing....the jury's still out on that one. No stones, but I thought it was nice to see Johnny show up at Olivia's with flowers. He seems very comfortable coming over and making himself at home. However, I think today was the start of him thinking she still has a thing for Sonny. I do believe he is going to get hurt, BUT I also think (if they are keeping him in the older group) he may give Sonny a run for his money. I think Johnny is going to find out that he has met his match with Sonny unlike Spinelli or Logan. I'm interested in seeing who comes out on top. IMO...they need to stop giving Sonny every flippin woman that comes on the show. He has Claws let him stay with someone more than a month for once.

I guess we'll see Lulu and gang sing on Monday.

I really hate the way they are writing Ethan now, he's like this obssessed stalker boy chasing after someone who clearly doesn't want to continue with the scam.

I'm reading now that Dante will be tested with Claws...Ugh! I really don't know if they know whether JMB is leaving or not which is why we are not seeing to many spoiler or rumors for Lulu. So I guess they thought they would chem test Dante and Lulu, but she ended up with putside projects and they had to change her s/l. I bet if her pilot gets picked up she will leave.

Hey everyone. Sorry to be no show on Friday, but having spent a frustrating hour with my laptop that morning printing partials of my novel to mail out and making every stupid mistake in the book (none of which I caught until after I printed the entire portion I needed) I was pretty certain once I got back from mailing them that if I touched these keys again I was going to hurl said laptop out a window. And then I realized I mailed one w/o siging the cover letter . Not a good day .

Anyway, how about testing Claudia with the unemploymen line? Cause she seriously needs to go. But I've heard they are testing Dante with Claudia (I saw nothing in their handful of scenes), Sam and Lulu. So far I've seen the most chemistry with him and Johnny . I'm pretty sure he's a fed after that laundrumat scene. All that AZ talk was him beign given orders to infiltrate so he can bring both orgs down. I don't think they want to try him with Lulu until they know what JMB is doing so that if they recast they don't have fans saying, "I liked him with JMB's Lulu, but he sucks with this new chick."

Ethan...anyone else feel like he's the new Logan? The guy brought on with all this mystery and after re-writing him to fit the "needs" of the show they don't know what to do with him, but they want to keep him so they keep making him worse and worse trying to do something at all with him until one day he'll be a nut case and killed off?

Hi All...

It was a lovely Saturday here in PA...now the weather's turned rainy and humid again this evening! I just hope the showers break the humidity!

I watched Friday's ep. on Soapnet Friday night...nothing to write home about. The karaoke thing was cute...just nice to see almost the whole cast having fun and having a small bit of a break from troublesome teens, mobsters, etc. Scrubs singing was cute! I assume the evening will continue on Monday, which was supposed to be Friday's ep. Everything got pushed back a day because the the MJ Memorial.

Skylie...the piece you posted was very interesting. I sometimes wonder if the writers think we're brain dead, have a bad memory or they just have a horrible disregard for GH history on the whole. Oh yeah, Alexis would have been out trolling for the mayor when she was deeply in the throes of battling lung cancer! Yeah, right! This is why GH finds itself where it is ratings wise!

I think I did mention before I would so love it if Dante turns out to be a Fed...and I just have a feeling he is. Any normal mobster would have just wasted Carly and her kids...they don't tend to like witnesses. If he is, then I'd kind of like two things...

1. Have him bring the Z's down...especially Claws. She's a mob princess that can never get anything right! Her brother's not so hot either in hitting the mobster mark! Daddy Z would be ashamed of his screw up offspring! I'd just love to see Claws make the ultimate mistake of trusting a Fed! It'd be the cherry on top of the sundae!

2. If he is a Fed, I would not mind him with Lulu. He'd be edgy, yet not completely a bad boy. I'd also like Lulu to be with someone who'd ultimately take Johnny's family down. As I said before, payback's a...well, you know. At least it'd be some sort of payback if Lulu's new boyfriend would take down her old boyfriend and his sicko family! I would like to see Lulu being the one to have the hot, steamy sex with a man who respects her and treats her like a princess, while the Z's all get carted off to the pokey. Although I am lukewarm on Dante at the moment, Luke's daughter and Sonny's son? That could work. It would also provide an interesting slide if Dante's a fed...kind of mirroring Luke and Lucky...dad's a rebel and the son's a cop.

A few things I can see happening from the spoilers for the coming week...

There will be a Spixie proposal...and Maxie will say no. As I'd said before, it'll either make or break the couple. I'm in the category of folks who like Spixie because it makes Maxie more tolerable, but just as pals...nothing more. Being around Maxie just always seems to make Spin look foolish (Just as Lulu was looking foolish with Johnny in the end.) because it just seems that she does not return his love in the way he'd like her to or the way she should, if that makes sense. People all have differing opinions on what love, sex, romance and relationships should entail and I don't think Spixie are on the same page. I keep thinking of Danny and Sandy in Grease at the end of the movie when they changed for each other. In real life, that wouldn't work to have two people become something they really are not inside just to please the other person...nor would it work for Spixie. She really cannot be the honorable flower he sees her as and he just doesn't have enough "edge" for her.

Looks like Maxie's getting a promotion from Kate at Crimson...that figures. Guza always rewards people who don't deserve it. OK, Maxie does work hard at her job and does have a passion for it, but what about Lulu? Does this mean Maxie's going to be her boss? I don't like that thought at all! Not after Lulu had to suck up all those fake dates with Johnny and Maxie. For Maxie to be rewarded after all that...I guess it's classic Guza.

Michael, I think, is going to end up hitting Claudia with a car. I think Claudia's child will end up being Sonny's from what I read, but if it ultimately survives, that seems up in the air. I am going to sound cruel to say I hope not...but Sonny has enough spawn in PC and Claudia, well, if I were an infant, I think I'd rather have Madonna for a mother...and that's not saying much! Another twist in that happening is that it might be Carly who helps Claudia when she sees the car wreck. Personally, I might let her sit there, but hey, I'm being mean!

The mayor seems to have a stream of mistresses, so maybe that's where the theory I had about Mercedes the nanny being Brianna's killer comes in. The Mayor or his wife are just too easy when it comes to suspects.

Aerinha, when I watched Ethan on Friday, I had the very same thought you did...I was thinking, this is like watching Logan all over again. We bring a new character on, tie him to a legacy character, then when we're not quite sure what to do with him, we make him a wretched person slowly so no one minds when he gets bumped off.

One spoiler said that Robin might take a tumble down the infamous GH stairs and Patrick would catch her, but hurt his hand in the process...Honestly...Whose idea were those stairs anyhow?? We've had a baby and two pregnant women fall down them this year. I think GH should rethink the design of their hospital.

I hope we find out soon for certain if Julie is staying. If her pilot does get picked up, I'd imagine she'll go...they aren't really making her character a major part of any storylines now...not exactly an attractive scenario for an actress to stay with the show.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend...time to turn the computer off now before the storm hits a line!

As Michael confides his fears in Kristina that he may have been the cause of the accident, she tries to convince him that someone else could have been at fault--without revealing that she too, had been on the road. Michael decides the right thing to do is to go the police and tell the truth.

However, the car Carly saw was not Michael's. It was a small, light colored car. In fact, "She thinks it was Alexis, who has a new car, a white hybrid. Sonny feels guilty, but Carly says, 'Let's get off the pity party and prove Michael innocent!"

Jason tries to intercept Michael but he is too late and is arrested by Mac.
The boy is soon released on bail.

Noise pollution then interferes, but eventually, he once again manages to make his intentions known. Maxie needs more time to respond. (The truth is, she likes things the way they are.)

Afternoon all.

Maxie gets a promotion?! She treats Spinelli like dirt and hurts people he cares about and now he is all about proving himself to her. Um, ok. Why doesn't she have to chase him while watching him drawn to a nice woman so she can see she's toxic to him, grow up, and find a viable guy like Matt? Meanwhile Lulu has her guy handed over to Maxie by the writers via Kate and instead of getting a "sorry" or a "thank you for your understanding" from Kate, she loses her guy and is basically told by Kate that she's too boring and unattractive to be seen in public with him. In my world of fun viewing, Maxie seeing Lulu triumph at work is the payback for all those "paranoia/you were in SB" comments. Maxie took something from Lulu, Lulu needs to take something from her in return. But no, Maxie gets to make out with Johnny, have puppy Spinelli, have Lulu to kick around and now she gets a promotion. This is why I don't watch this show anymore. I read recaps and only watch if interested.

Couldn't they at least have had Lulu kidnapped by Helena and have Luke go looking for her? That would give Luke a decent send off for the summer and give Lulu's invisiblity a reason beyond she lost Johnny and now has no life.

Hi Aerinha,

Great post! Any news on your book? Whatever the news, I hope it will be good!

Maxie getting a promotion made me irritated beyond words too when I first read it. I guess Megan Ward might be leaving and as was said some time ago, she's going to leave the PC branch of Crimson to Maxie. Oh great...Maxie already has an ego issue! The last thing I want to see now is Maxie behaving like Kate and ordering Lulu around...she's done that enough in her assistant role! Indeed, it's about way past due time Lulu get SOMETHING positive in her life! But no, they reward Maxie for doing all the things Aerinha mentioned...how lovely! Add to that Maxie getting a proposal from a sweet guy like Spin as well and I'd say everything's coming up roses for her!

Aerinha, I agree that I think I would have much rather have seen Lulu and her dad get kidnapped by Helena and then have the makings of some sort of a major story waiting in the wings for her when Tony returns from summer holiday! It would have provided a better explanation for the lack of Lulu while Julie finished her film and also they determine if she's staying, rather than to toss her in a few scenes here and there and just make her play go between with her brothers. I guess the writers didn't think that far!

More karaoke hijinks today, I guess...well, at least that's a bit of fun!

Have a good Monday!

Hello ladies…..

Back at work today and busy but wanted to say a quick hello to the few of us that’s left….LOL. I wonder where WB has been lately…Hmmmmm.

Anywho….I CANNOT believe they are going to have Maxie get a promotion and a marriage proposal too….UGH! You know her and Spin are not going to last. I guess today is the day Spin SINGS for Maxie…..bleh.

JMB will be taping all through August too so we won’t see too much of Lulu until September that is if she stays. I guess since that’s up in the air they will chem. test Claws with Dante…..OH brother.

Aerinha….I hope all is well with you and I hope things are going well with the publishing process.

I’ve stopped taping GH so I will try to read LT or watch on Soapnet at 10 tonight if it sounds like it’s worth watching. I would like to see Rebecca/Lulu/Maxie and Diane singing.
