Hope you all had a nice, long weekend!

Add me to the list of folks bored to tears by GH...I'm actually looking forward to the karaoke thing later this week! It might create some fun into the canvas and be a departure from the same old, same old we've been getting lately...which is exactly what we got today...

Johnny and Jason walking through the Enchanted Forest again...gee, Johnny, you'd think you'd learn not to be so chatty when you go on one of these ambush things! It's a good way to get your butt blown off...at least it would be in the real mob world!

More "The Trouble with Teens!" After reading some scoops at Daytime Dish (I know those need to be taken with a grain of salt), I am wondering if Claudia won't be the victim of a car accident with Michael behind the wheel...at first I thought it might be Kristina's friend, Kiefer, but now, I am not sure! I just have a sick feeling that car is going to haunt Michael...if they'd put Morgan in the car with him at the time, it'd be like AJ and Jason all over again! More rehash!

Also after reading some scoops, my thoughts about the Mayoral Mess have changed...what if Brianna's killer turns out to be Mercedes? (Yes, the CarJax and Scrubs nanny!) I suppose the Mayor's wife is too obvious a suspect. She's just trying to protect her husband, career, reputation and money! There was rumor earlier that Mercedes would somehow be involved with the storyline...perhaps she was another mistress the mayor had and she was jealous of Brianna? He seemed to not be Mr. Faithful, so anything's possible!

Dante...I find him funny and charming, but he just doesn't do anything for me...just my personal opinion. Land Shark? Oh dear...now the writers are borrowing from 1970's Saturday Night Live! I'm still not sure if he's a bad guy or not. Interesting end to the show...the guy creeps up behind his mother and grabs her mouth to prevent her from yelling! Wouldn't a simple, "Hi Mom!" have done the trick??

Just looking at body language today, I'd say Jolivia's going to be a quick footnote...crash and burn...they were Johnny's segway out of Jolu and into the mob world where he belongs and her bit of Cougar fun for a while which is the "it" thing to do right now. I'd say Sonny and Olivia are going to get closer...especially with the Dante reveal. Oh well...if it gives Johnny a taste of what he did to Lulu by getting dumped, then I'm all for it! Incidentally, I did also read that there's yet another newbie headed to PC and she'll make a beeline for Johnny. Oh great...yet another newbie! PC is a regular revolving door!

Spixie? I think they are cute and the coupling certainly makes Maxie more tolerable in scenes. However, as I may have said before, it's what the coupling does to the individual characters that bothers me...just like with Jolu. The writers had to turn Johnny into a lying, lusting jerk who kept cryptically screaming at Lulu because of the secrets he was keeping while also feeding her insecurities by dancing around Maxie and they made Lulu into a shell shocked former shadow of herself just sitting there being overly tolerant, waiting for the other shoe to drop with Johnny. With Spixie, the pairing seems to turn Spin into a 12 year old idiot who has no grasp on reality and makes Maxie rather dull. Let's face it, he wants a nice, traditional romance and she'd prefer to hit the sheets...yesterday, if possible! As friends, terrific, but as romantic partners, I find Spixie to be pickles and ice cream...even though they are cute. I suppose the best part about them for me is that they make watching Maxie on my screen tolerable.

I see nothing on Lulu other than her involvement in the karaoke night and it's said she again tries to bring her brothers (Ethan and Lucky) together in family solidarity. If it didn't work the first time, I'd drop the subject. But, this seems to be all they have for Lulu to do these days.

In our present economy, I can honestly understand why soap actors want other undertakings besides their soap jobs. Getting movies, pilots and other gigs like KM and JMB are doing does help pay the bills, which they do have like the rest of us! It does, however, make for fragmented character development and storylines, so that's the downside of it all. Maybe it's just a viewer's point of view, but it seems that TPTB really go out of their way to cater to some actors and make it appealing for them to stay, while they don't do the same with others. Veteran actors who are important to the storyline, like MB, for example, I can understand why that's done. It's the same thing done at any place of business where one has seniority. Right now, from the outside looking in at the situation, I would not say they are doing anything which would make me want to stay if I were JMB. So, that's a bit disheartening...they either need to decide to give her a decent storyline, recast or send the character packing. Viewers generally want a happy medium with their characters. They don't want to see them at nauseum every day, as we were seeing Maxie for a while, but then they don't want to see their face end up on a milk carton like Lulu's character. Out of sight completely can mean out of mind in this kind of scenario.

I am taking a wild guess that we won't find GH on anywhere on Tuesday because of the Michael Jackson memorial in CA. I keep seeing that GH will go dark for two weeks in July. Does this mean no new episodes for two weeks? Wow...that's never been done before to my recollection!

I think Sonny and Johnny are cut from the same cloth. They BOTH let other people talk down to those who they claim to care about and funny...it always seems to be Claws running her pie hole all the time, first to Lulu and now Olivia.

If I were a betting woman, I would put my money on Olivia! I bet she would and could wipe the floor up with Claws. Claws...IMHO...is ALL talk but when it comes time to walk the walk...well....we all know how her plans turn out!

I understand how Johnny might not have come to Olivia's defense today, he was just ripped a new one by Sonny. What I can't understand is why Johnny takes that crap from him? Why doesn't he plot to take the Z business back? That would make for a good s/l for Johnny, but instead they are making him just another one of Sonny's flunky's.

I do think Johnny is about to get a taste of what he did to Lulu, but will the writers really show that? I have my doubts, so far he has shown absolutely no remorse for what he did to Lulu and I doubt that will change. It sounds like they will move him from Olivia...more into the mob (limbo) and then to this new girl (when cast). I have a feeling and have also read, it will be Brooklyn, Ned and Lois's daughter.

As for Lulu, I hope JMB stays because I like "her" Lulu, but I understand if she doesn't. My hope is that if she does end up staying, they give her a good s/l to showcase her talent.

As for Gh I hav no desire to watch as it`s so boring...Same old SL plus we don`t have anything interesting for LUlu...I don`t hold too much hope for a Danlu SL...We need new blood at Gh...Thy are talking about cancellation for DOOL and it`s so much better than GH... Anyway, A I hope you get publish soon and I`ll be one of your fisrt reader...

Not sure if the fact that I don't care if GH is interrupted for Michael Jackson is because GH is really that boring or that I've remembered how much I loved MJ as a little girl during the Thriller era. Maybe it's both. Either way I for one will not be mad if I find an hour of his memorial waiting for me at home instead of an hour of General Boredom.

Geez, every Friday should be a cliff hanger that goes somewhere Monday (no fake outs that something has happened only to be taken back the next day). Once a month something big, again with no take backs, should happen. And they should stop ending every couple as a no take back because soaps need those threads.

GH going dark has been done before. We will still see new episodes, their studio is just going "dark" as in they are not filming anything while re-writes go on and stories are overhauled. After the last one we got invisible JoLu and the thrilling baby chase for JoHo. But they really can't make it worse unless they get it cancelled.

Well I hate to sound insensitive, but I could care less about MJ's funeral and IMHO like his life, it's just another 3 ring circus.

OK....has anyone seen the bigger media pics over at soapsource? I'm not sure what they could be saying to one another, but Jolivia look intense. Johnny is looking at Olivia the way he used to look at Lulu....Hmmmmm...me thinks the boy has got it bad.

I read (and probably not true) that SBu is not resigning so maybe that is why they are turning Johnny into Jason the sequal to take his place when Steve leaves. I love Jason, he is my fav character, but I hate what they are doing with Johnny...they are just turning him into another killer. They could have had him plotting against Sonny to get his father's business back for himself NOT being a flunky for Sonny.

I used to love Sonny, but these writers have ruined him for me! They are (yet again) trying to rewrite history, they first tried to make it seem like Kate/Connie was the love of Sonny's life....now they are trying to go with Olivia as Sonny's love. IMO...the LOVE of Sonny's life was Brenda!

Come on Skylie you know the love of Sonny's life was Lily and all her conversations about having to have a baby now now now . At least that's what Guza wants to believe. Where's that gag emoticon when I need it?

I was thinking about Johnny being prepped to be Jason Jr. They had him primed to be the "new" Sonny when they thought MB wasn't going to stay, but MB stayed and Johnny was suddenly stuck playing Ghostbusters. I suspect if SBu sticks around Johnny won't be Jason Jr. anymore. Suddenly he'll have a new girl he is dying to be with and he'll chuck it all for her and no one will say a word against it because it's Lulu's faulth Johnny left the first time to spite his father/sister and couldn't hack it. So of course the woman he really leaves the mob for can't be blamed for something done for her because it was his choice no matter what the reason.

Hello....Hello....anyone around this morning....LOL?

Well, I was a little disappointed that they did not air the Tuesday epi on Soapnet last night it waas Monday's, so I guess today will be Tuesday's show.

As I've said before, I always wanted Johnny in the mob, but as a Sonny...not as a Jason. If this is what's happening then I guess he will not be able to get involved with anyone because it's too dangerous. I was thinking that if they don't do Jasam and they do end up doing Liason, I would love to see Johnny with Sam. This would keep him in the older group where IMO he belongs but he can be with someone who is his equal. I can't see TIIC putting him back with the 20 somethings.

I miss seeing Lulu!

The MJ memorial was very nice. His daughter broke my heart at the end. At first it was cute with Janet telling her how to use the mic correctly, here's this girl from a musical family and she can't use a mic, I thought it was sweet. What she said was so touching and then when she broken down in Janet's arms. I was almost crying in my office watching her.

Back on topic, ITA Skylie that Johnny should remain in the older group, but I think all the other 20s need to join him with more adult stories. I just hate seeing the others wasted on stupid Scooby stories and bed hopping since that seems to be the only way RG knows how to do angst. Really, what does Spinelli have to prove to the EOH? This should be her realizing what he means to her and chasing him down for a change. All this courtly love thing do is make Spinelli even more of a turn off to me.

Johnny and Sam...I would have to see them together, but they could work. It would be nice to see Sam not corralled with Jason who seems to be the only guy they have for her. Although she and Spinelli have a vibe that makes me wish they would have her trying to help him be a bit more normal and fall for her creation. She'd treat him better than Maxie. If they had to redo Jason's personality change, why not have Spinelli wake up as a different guy. Still quirky, but not so...mewling?

Yep....just call Johnny....Jason the sequal!

Hmmmmm....I think (JMO)Dante looks a little too old for Lulu. I would like her better with Ethan. Pray to the soap Gods to change his paternity to be anyone else's but Luke's!

Oooooo.....after the convo between Sonny and Jason, I think Dante may be a "good" guy!!!

OH....Johnny has sooooo fallen for Olivia. He told her that "one of the things he loves about her is that he doesn't have to explain himself, where he's been or what he's doing".

Well Lulu asked him where he was when she was almost infected with a toxin and he vanished. And she wanted to know what he was doing when he was making out with Maxie behind her back. I guess she wasn't supposed to care he cheated on her because he can do what he wants.

Mommy can have him, he's as worthless as every other man in PC. He can cheat, no one can question him and it's up to him to deem what woman can "handle" his life. Of course Olivia never wanted that life, but now it's ok because she's middle aged and no longer has to know better. I can't stand her hypocrisy or his.
