How long until they fire Guza? Seriously the guy writes the same thing over and over, time for new blood and a fresh perspective. They keep saying they want the glory days back, if no new writing talent is availabe why not bring back the Labines who wrote in the mid to late 1990s? They can't do any worse than Guza and while I once feared new writers would mean the end of JoLu, Guza put a nail in their break up coffin so again, what's the worst a new HW could do? In any other job such poor performance would have resulted in a "don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on your way out" scenario, but Guza has been allowed to drive GH into the ground year after year.

I know a lot of blame goes to Frons for being the puppet master, but he's not the one putting the same tired dialogue in characters' mouths or writing the same break-up/angst issues for every couple. You can break up couples w/o cheating and w/o making it like they never existed so there's no going back. Frankly you can't maintain fanbases if you end all the couples that way as GH is learning.

Rather than endless Liason, JoLu, Spixie, Scrubs campaigns I'd like to see a Get a New Headwriter campaign start.

Really busy at work these days…UGH, but wanted to pop in and say Amen Sista….I soooooo agree with what you said!

We get the same conversations over and over with the same characters i.e. Scrubs...how long and how many time was the words post partum depression said in an episode? Jolu had the same convo over and over too….Spixie….”you’re my best friend and essential person”. I could go on, but this is a BIG part of the problem. Another problem is, they bring on all these newbies with what appears to be a big s/l and then it fizzles and they end up not knowing what to do with the new person.

As much as it pains me to say this, I hope JMB leaves GH because I know they will screw her over again. Yet they want to force the Claws character day in day out! I have NO interest in this character and as far as I’m concerned she is a waste of airtime….who likes her?

Still not watching much of GH. Yes Lulu dragging Lucky's kids to meet Ethan wasn't the smartest move, but no one can hate her for it unless the agree Maxie running to Jason to blather about Johnny's secret for his moron sister was 20 times worse since it had nothing to do with her and this was about Lulu and her family. And they have to admit that Olivia butting in on Liason like she knew a thing about Liz or Jason beyond her own hypocritical views was also worse than what Lulu did since Olivia A. didn't even know Liz and B. is a big mouth hypocrite with her mob is bad mantra while jumping into bed with a mobster.

Every woman on GH butts in and does stupid stuff because Guza doesn't like women, not just Lulu. So you can't get mad at her unless you get mad at everyone.

I'll defend Lulu without putting anyone else down. To me, Lulu is trying to unite a family that has been plagued by ugliness for the past few months. Her resilient nature is exemplified by her eagerness to have her family be integrated.

Can't really put a girl down for wanting her family to be together. She apologized for blind sighting the children's parents and as Liz said, the kids are too young to understand. It IS more difficult on the adults than the children.

It is unfortunate that a character who has only spent maybe five minutes on screen for the past two episodes is being ridiculed for only wanting something good for her family. I haven't observed this first hand, but would only say this is miniscule in terms of wrongs being committed on a soap opera.

Still love Lulu and think she is looking great, doing great and don't think it was that big of deal. Heck she apologized and Liz accepted. They got over it, so us viewers should too!

Well first I love Lulu and she had good intentions for doing what she did...At least, she admits when she is making a mistake anmd doesn`t put out a tantrum like a 2 years old when things don`t go her way...She acts very mature...Hum hum.

As for the show, I watch about 5-10 minutes an eppi I FF the rest. They have toned done MAxi. Now I wish Spin woukld grow a pair and stay away from for a while...Meet a new girl and allow him to mature. Heck, he could hang out more with Lulu...

AS for Jolvia I HATE them...Olivia is turning into a cheap desperate woman trying to relive her teens years...ANd Jerkny always says one thing to Claws but in the end he bails her out...Let her have it and choke into her lies...

I agree with A, Guza needs to be fired. This show has the worst writing EVER, Compare to DOOL it`s worth minus 100.

As for Lulu where is her big loves stroy? it seems like always we have been baited...


On anothjer note, we will have our new baby lab in 5 weeks...The doggies were born June 13...I can`t wait!

I did not put down other female characters, I pointed out that like Lulu there are others who are written horribly and said that Lulu cannot be condemned unless her detractors were willing to admit their fav characters also made mistakes and were not perfect since she gets bashed for everything and characters who do far worse on a more frequent basis are forgiven.

It is interesting that no one can point out the flaws of a character you like (Olivia or Maxie) w/o being called on it. I didn't say Lulu was right, I said she was one of many who make mistakes.

I believe I said they all looked bad thanks to the writing. The old glasshouses and stones. If people are going to cast stones at Lulu, I will cast them back. And if people don't like that I've hit a bulls-eye by pointing out Lulu is not the worst person in PC too bad.

Honestly I think what she did was dumb, but other characters do worse. However, you seem to want to start a fight and I'm not going down that road.

Aerinha, I have not been posting for very long, but agree with most of your posts. I hope I didn't upset you, I was trying to reiterate your point.

What you said was correct. What Lulu did was wrong, but it is hardly the worst thing a PC resident has done (and I could make you list of characters who have done worse things like getting children shot or cheating on spouses in their own beds or taking drugs or making cruel bets to name a few). It makes me crazy that Lulu gets jumped on for having her shoes untied and no fan is allowed to defend her while other characters do awful things and it's ok and no fan can say a word against them .

I'm used to writing critical papers where you do compare/contrast to prove a point. My point was Lulu didn't do so bad a thing to warrant the backlash she got when you consider what her behavior can be compared to and proved it by pointing out what lame-brained things other PC people have done. You made a nice case for why Lulu did what she did w/o doing the compare/contrast that I did.

Did I say you said anything negative about Lulu? No. I was defending my original post that you felt the need to call me on and why I said what I said.

I made a general statement in my original post that was not a response to any post in this thread. You did not seem to like it and called me on "putting down other female characters". I pointed out that I was not putting anyone down I was pointing out the flaws other characters had that are equal to or greater to than Lulu's and brought up the double standard where her character is concerned.

You continued to try to bait me and I made another general statement in response to you saying "people" not you cast stones at her for doing things other characters do and I was doing the same.

Never once did I say you said anything negative about Lulu, however you keep accusing me of saying negative things about other characters which I am not doing, I am only pointing out their flaws as Lulu's are endlessly pointed out by other posters. Nor am I saying anything negative about you.

This is the last post I will be making in response to you. So you can go on twisting my words and trying to get the last word to make your self seem "right".
